The appearance and interior of the hotel are very modern and fashionable. The bathroom in the room is separated by dry and wet cleaning. Parking is free. The service is very considerate. When I entered the room, I was immediately amazed. The facilities were really impressive. It was very technological. Maybe it was because it was newly opened. The park outside the window was not yet completed. It was also very quiet. The room was really big and spacious and not depressing at all. Most importantly, it was so cheap. It was so cheap. What a perfect stay
If I have to make some suggestions for improvement, there is a step where the elevator comes out and connects to the room corridor. I don’t know if there are other floors. There is one on the second floor where I stayed. This step has no safety signs. If you don’t pay attention, it may be regarded as a step. If the stepping stone is easy to trip over, it is better to put a yellow sign with ”Caution Steps” printed on the edge of the step.
I will definitely go to Jinzhong in the future and will visit again.

GGuest UserThe homestay I stayed in during this trip to Pingyao Ancient City was amazing! The location is great, on the bustling main street of the ancient city. When you go out, you will see the hustle and bustle of the city, and when you go in, you will find a quiet little world. The room is uniquely decorated with wood-carved windows and rattan furniture, and every detail is carefully thought out. The boss is very enthusiastic, like an old friend who has not seen each other for a long time. He not only shares authentic food tips, but also helps plan routes to must-see attractions. In my free time, I can make a pot of tea and bask in the warm sun, which is extremely comfortable. Very cost-effective, complete and clean facilities. I sincerely recommend this place to friends who come to Pingyao Ancient City. It is like a ”home away from home”!

DDyarllonI was really impressed with this hotel, especially at night. It's STUNNING inside the hotel interior.
The hotel is located near the Westgate inside the ancient city, where all the taxis are, very convenient if you plan on visiting some temples outside the ancient city.
The taxis can't go inside the ancient city but that's not a problem, you only need to walk a short distance before you get to the hotel.
The reception greeted me to a surprisingly warm welcome, even after 9 years in China..I have to say this was the most welcomed I've been in a hotel.
The receptionist was very kind and spoke some English.
As far as the rooms go, the hotel's aesthetic along with the rooms have a very rustic vibe, but don't worry the rooms are clean and the shower is warm.
Will definitely recommend this one to everyone.

GGuest UserI came here during the Qingming Festival and chose a very distinctive store. It is located in the busiest area of the ancient city, next to Rishengchang. The front desk lady arranged a room on the second floor. The children loved it! The lady helped to make a guide. The food, entertainment and travel photography were all great. They were all very distinctive in the ancient city. She also enthusiastically planned the tour route. It was fun and not tiring. It was worry-free. We were going back early in the morning on the third day. The lady also arranged a car to pick us up at the door of the hotel and sent us directly to the high-speed rail station. She also came to see us off early in the morning, helped with the luggage, and waved goodbye like old friends when we left. That moment drew a perfect end to the trip to Pingyao, and also made us love the ancient city of Pingyao and the people living in this ancient city more. The environment is simply impeccable. The house is in the center of the ancient city but it is not noisy at all. It is very quiet and comfortable to sleep at night. The room I booked is cleaner and tidier than what I saw in the photos. Everything is bright and bright. Very good reviews! The boss and his wife are even more enthusiastic and thoughtful! ! GGuest UserRed lantern Inn gives the best service among all the hotels I’d stayed so far in China. The owner and his wife picked me up from the Train station 20 min away. The location is superb, inside the old city and located just 5 min walk from the North Gate. The Mansion is so beautiful and well kept for hundreds years old building unless you like everything new or modern.
The best part is Xiao Lei, the sweet and polite inn keeper who’s extremely helpful although we had to use Google translator to communicate. He goes all out of his ways to do anything to make your stay comfortable and your visit enjoyable. He cannot explain how to but the ticket for the Old city, so he walks with me to the office. He also drives an electric truck to deliver my luggages to the north gate and call the taxi for me to the airport.
I’ll definitely come back to stay here if I come visit Pingyaogucheng again. I completely recommend this inn to everyone.

The high-speed rail arrived at just 12 o'clock. The normal check-in time is 2 o'clock. I called the hotel to see if there were any rooms available for check-in. The front desk informed us that there were rooms and they could pick us up. After informing us of the location, we were picked up very quickly. Every service staff member had a very good attitude. The front desk sister also gave us a travel map to tell us where to have fun, which saved a lot of time. During the day, my husband and I went to take photos of the Pingyao check-in goddess. At night, we watched the light show and came back late. I didn't expect that there was still a light waiting for us. The aunt asked us kindly if we were back. If, like me, your Chinese reading capabilities are not good, it might be difficult to identify, as none of the pictures here are from the front facade, but the location is correct and the sign has the correct name in Chinese. Rooms are good and clean (ours smelled a little bit of tobacco, but was otherwise fine). Breakfast is varied and includes several options, from noodles to pickled veggies, buns and steamed eggs. We didn't have much interaction with the staff, as we didn't need anything in particular, but they seemed nice and at least one had basic English skills. The courtyard is beautiful and has several adorable feline inhabitants that will make your stay better.

The interior of the inn has the atmosphere of Pingyao Ancient Town. Although the courtyard is small, it is exquisite. There are two courtyards. The owner is very nice and helpful, he was able to help me with everything. The front desk is guarded by a small, beautiful dog who gives you a proper greeting. Majitel je velmi milý a ochotný, se vším mi dokázal pomoci. Recepci hlídá malý, krásný pejsek, který vás náležitě přivítá.
