"We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. When we checked in they upgraded our room to a business suite. This was so unexpected and we loved it! It was so comfortable and provide the perfect amount of space so when one needed to work in the evening, the other person wasn’t disturbed. The en-suite bathroom was fantastic - the dual vanity was perfect for both of us to get ready at the same time. Also, it had a massive bathtub and separate shower- great for those who might want to unwind after a long day. The bed was very comfortable and it had great sound proofing. The only drawback was that the AC didn’t work well in the suite- even though we tried to lower the temperature, we weren’t able to bring it lower than 25 degrees. As it is summer, being able to lower the AC would have been helpful as it did get a little stuffy in the room at night. The staff at the front desk were very helpful. From recommendations on how to visit several of the villages we were interested in going to, to recommendations for specific Guizhou dishes to try at the night market, they were so kind and pleasant. The day we checked out it was pouring. The staff were kind enough to lend us umbrellas so we could go for a short walk to get coffee before our trip to the train station. The facilities were great and well maintained. A good really gym with lots of equipment / treadmills/ weights etc so you could work out. It closes at 11pm (as does the laundry). They only have 2 washer/ dryer combinations so while laundry is free to do, it could take a while as the shortest wash cycle was approximately 30 min, and then you still had to factor in dry time (as it’s the same machine). The hotel is located in the center area so there are lots of shops, and huge underground mall, night market, parks, cafe and bakery all within walking distance. As it’s centrally located, it’s very easy for didi to find/ schedule pick up. We loved our time in Kaili and our stay at this hotel. We will definitely return for a second visit!"

"Very convenient to XIJIANG 1000 MIAO VILLAGE as a stop by to get relaxed for you next destination. A very newly opened hotel. Every thing was new and well organized, very pleasant peaceful atmosphere at night even it’s a major area of Kaili. Walk out 5 minutes to the right and you’ll reach an active lovely night market with locals having great food. The owner was very friendly and upgraded me. A convenient store just next, sure definitely stay again on my November trip."

"We stayed at the Hampton by Hilton Kaili for a family trip to Southeast Guizhou with our kids, and it was truly warm and thoughtful. They specifically arranged a spacious room, giving the kids plenty of space to run around. The toiletries were Peter Thomas Roth, which gave us peace of mind regarding quality. On the first floor, there's a kids' DIY craft area, and our little one had an absolute blast there. The breakfast offered a mix of Chinese and Western options, with staples like noodles and milk, as well as local glutinous rice and sour soup noodles – a great variety of flavors. The staff were gentle and friendly, and they proactively gave small gifts to the children. The location is convenient for getting around, and the room was quiet and peaceful. Our whole family was very happy with our stay and we highly recommend it for families with children."

Jinquan Jinyuan Hotel (Kaili City Government) ★★

"The place is so hard to find! After eating the fish in sour soup, we drove for half an hour to get to the hotel. The road in Kaili was too difficult to drive, with unclear lines, unclear traffic lights, and many forks. The hotel is actually not expensive during the National Day, but since there is no elevator, the price-performance ratio is not that high compared to other hotels I have stayed in."
