The Zhongrui Tianxi Hotel is located in the heart of Kaili, surrounded by numerous restaurants and shops, making dining and shopping incredibly convenient. The hotel offers dedicated parking both above and underground, which is very handy. Upon entering the lobby, you're immediately greeted with a very comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. Next to the front desk, there's a tea station and coffee machine with various herbal teas, along with a display cabinet offering afternoon tea items like fruits, cakes, and beverages, all complimentary for guests. The staff are exceptionally warm and enthusiastic, which is really heartwarming – truly living up to its highly-rated reputation. The room itself feels spacious and bright, with excellent facilities. Many thoughtful details stand out, such as dual bathrooms, disposable facial towels, disposable bath towels, toilet seat covers, as well as alcohol wipes and shoe-shine cloths. These small touches really showcase the hotel staff's attentiveness and care. The room's cleanliness is impeccable, the soundproofing is excellent, and the bed is very comfortable. We stayed for two nights, and our whole family slept soundly. The hotel's breakfast is abundant and varied, with a good mix of meat and vegetarian options, and the taste is fantastic. The shrimp cakes, Ai Cao Baba (mugwort cakes), freshly baked bread, and beef rice noodles were particularly delicious. The hotel also offers complimentary lunch and late-night snacks. We didn't have lunch, but we enjoyed the late-night snacks twice, which included congee, small dishes, and rice noodles – very good! Upon check-out, they even gave us a bottle of sour soup base as a gift, which was incredibly thoughtful! Overall, it was a very satisfying stay, and I highly recommend this excellent value-for-money hotel to anyone planning a trip to Kaili or Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village. The hotel is 30 kilometers from Qianhu Miao Village, making it ideal for self-driving tourists who prefer not to stay in guesthouses within the scenic area. I felt so welcomed and comfortable at this boutique hotel in ancient Xaisi. I understood that this hotel was in an older part of Kaili. On further exploration I found it to be in an extremely historic an ancient village of Xiasi that spanned many dynasties. Within walking distance to can find architecture that represents Qing and other dynasties . Xiasi’s streets reveal layers of history where Han, Miao, and merchant cultures converge. Stone streets, wooden covered bridges, decorated eaves, bell towers, and imperial and domestic courtyards reflect exquisite craftsmanship. My room overlooked the Qingjiang River. It was beautiful appointments with indigo fabric details. I especially liked the Chinese red chair. My room also have a spacious balcony. The owner took care of me like I was her daughter. It was so sweet. The central courtyard of the hotel is a lush garden. I loved exploring Xiasi during the quiet off-season. Its enchanting alleyways and ancient architecture is extraordinary. It’s especially romantic as evenings falls and this historic village is lit by red lanterns. I highly recommend this hotel. I look forward to returning.

Highly recommended! The moment I arrived at the store, I smelled a wonderful fragrance. Inside, it's simple yet elegant. This is my favorite Ji Hotel so far! It's bright and airy, with a fantastic layout (the last Ji Hotel I stayed at was a bit stuffy and smelly, but this one has floor-to-ceiling windows. The only downside is that there are residential buildings opposite, so privacy isn't great when you open the curtains). The side near the parking lot is also very quiet. Furthermore, it's within a 10-15 minute walk to many restaurants I want to eat at, and a 20-minute walk to the farther ones. Highly recommended! My boyfriend and I came to Kaili and stayed at the Stone Hotel. I had seen some reviews mentioning that the air conditioning and soundproofing were just okay, so I was a bit hesitant about booking. However, I also read about their excellent service, so I decided to give it a try. Our stay was absolutely fine, no issues at all. The air conditioning was quiet, and the room was quite peaceful. The room was clean and comfortable, perfect for couples. The hotel front desk even recommended a local sour fish soup restaurant nearby, and it was delicious! In the evenings, we could also go out for some beer and BBQ, haha… What I liked most was the 4 PM checkout time – perfect for someone like me who loves to sleep in!

This isn't a guesthouse at all; it's a room located in a tower block. It's difficult to find because there's no information to help you get there. You have to call someone to get the access code. I asked about the locations and dates of the major minority markets, and the response was, ”I don't know!” Even though the room is spacious and well-equipped, for the same price, you're better off choosing the hotel next door where the staff is extremely welcoming.

Amazing hotel in a great location in Kaili center. Close to lots of food and bar options, as well as shopping. Also close to bus station. This hotel is very comfortable to stay at as a foreigner, they have many aspects similar to Western hotels that aren’t commonly found in China, like offering free ice, coffee, softer beds, etc. The staff is very friendly, the rooms are meticulously clean and have very modern amenities like automatic lights and a smart toilet. There’s also a balcony which is great to relax on. My only advice is that I had a bit of trouble finding the location, it would be good if they could give instructions on how to find the hotel.

This is such an authentic place to stay and a perfect location in the ancient town. My room was great and overlooked the river and at night the lights were beautiful. The hosts are super helpful and all my questions were answered using translation apps. The fact no one spoke English didn’t matter as we communicated effectively using the apps. The family cooked me a lovely dinner in the evening and everyone was so friendly and helpful. This is a really lovely ancient town not visited by many foreigners. If you want to visit an authentic real ancient town I recommend you stay here. Such great value for money.

The service was absolutely fantastic! They were incredibly patient and helpful, always ready to assist with anything I needed. The room was wonderful, and they even brought some freshly washed fruit in the evening! The location is right above Jiufang Tianjie, close to Zhongbo, which is super convenient. I highly recommend it. Even with a late check-out, the housekeeper remained incredibly attentive. Their service was truly exceptional, making me want to recommend them. For solo female travelers, this place is highly recommended. Since a housekeeper always comes to the room, it's never intrusive. The housekeeper also sends messages beforehand to ask if I need anything.
