To keep it short: It was just perfect! Nice and clean room, just a few mins of walking to Kamnik, a cool Pub directly at the hostel,... The hosts were super nice and helpful. We got some great tips what to do or where to hike. The breakfast was outstanding! Fresh, lokal specialities, eggs, sausages... It was our highlight on our two-week roadtrip through Slovenia. We would definitely recommend it. Thanks!

We do not recommend to go up with suitcases with rollers (it's very useless). It's better to go up with backpacks.Parking: You leave the car on the parking at the bottom station of cable car.You go up by cable car and double seat lift (read the instructions below). They are delighted to invite you to taste their dairy products or try a typical herdsmen’s lunch; sour milk and hard-boiled corn mush.If you like hiking - may be one day trip to the highest mountains in Kamnisko - Savinjske Alpe (climbing to Planjavameters) or for younger children visit a meadow village Dol (one hour walking downhil and than walking to mountain Konj 1803 meters (2 hours walking).The intact Nature: you should visit Veternica and Dovja Griča caves.Veternica cave is the most popular natural site of interest on Velika planina.
