For a hotel that costs just over a hundred yuan, getting free pickup from the station is a great bonus. The room was clean, and being able to scan a QR code to order food was convenient – a plate of fried noodles for 12 yuan is definitely a good deal. The only minor issues were a slightly clogged sink and the disposable towels. Also, the smart assistant 'Xiao Du' wasn't fully set up. Overall, I was satisfied.

Staying at the TOWO Hotel was definitely the best decision I made on this trip to Nanchang! I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone visiting.
**Fantastic Location:** It's just a few minutes' walk to Bayi Square, which was incredibly convenient for enjoying the night views and grabbing some local snacks. Plus, with plenty of metro and bus stops nearby, getting to other attractions was completely stress-free.
**Incredible Value:** For its prime location, getting a hotel of this quality at such a price is truly outstanding value for money. It's definitely the top pick for anyone on a budget who still wants comfort and convenience.
**Comfortable Stay:** The hotel's hygiene was excellent, and the rooms were spotless. The bedding was incredibly soft and comfortable; once I lay down, I didn't want to get up! After a long day of exploring, getting a good night's sleep is absolutely crucial, and this place delivered. Overall, it was a highly satisfying stay, and I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Nanchang!

Stunning River View, Enchanting Nights – An Unforgettable Stay
This stay far exceeded my expectations; if I had to describe it in one word, it would be 'breathtaking.'
First, I have to rave about the river view! The room offered an unparalleled vista, directly facing the wide river. Watching the sparkling river during the day instantly lifted my spirits, and at night, it was simply a visual feast.
What impressed me most was the night view across the river. As dusk settled, the buildings on the opposite bank lit up magnificently. The dazzling lights reflected in the water, creating what looked like a flowing galaxy.
The hotel service was also incredibly thoughtful. The room was clean and tidy, and the bedding was comfortable, allowing for a peaceful sleep after enjoying the beautiful scenery.
If you're looking for a unique romantic getaway or want to bring family and friends to see a spectacular light show, this place is absolutely the top choice. The next time I visit this city, I'll undoubtedly choose to stay here again!

It's right next to Shangrao Station, within walking distance.
Facilities: Smart voice control, smart toilet.
Cleanliness: Pretty good, I'm not usually picky.
Environment: There's a snack street and fruit stores nearby at night.
Service: You can ask the front desk staff for water directly, and they are very helpful with questions.
It's very convenient for going to Wangxian Valley and Gexian Village, and there's a bus station right next to it. You can ask the front desk for directions.

Public areas were well-maintained and thoroughly disinfected. All facilities were in perfect working order, with excellent water pressure and instant hot water in the bathrooms. The staff were very responsive and accommodating to all our requests. Overall, it was a comfortable and reassuring experience, definitely a five-star stay! I've already recommended it to my friends.

On the first day of our stay, I asked housekeeping about a toilet seat cover because there wasn't one. The staff member said they don't provide them, but could give me one if I insisted. I had my own, but the double-sided tape on the one I opened wasn't sticky and kept falling off, so I wanted to ask if the hotel had any. I was told they don't stock them in the rooms; it's a 'take it or leave it' situation. Later, I politely asked a cleaner if they had a disposable toilet seat cover, and if I could have one, as I wanted to replace my own at that moment. I was told they would give it to me when they cleaned. Seriously, it's just a toilet seat cover! Is it that hard to give it to me right then and there? Why do I have to wait until cleaning? We stayed for four days, and one toilet seat cover would last four days. Besides, a toilet seat cover costs next to nothing. Even B&Bs provide them these days. This hotel, with such high foot traffic near a scenic spot, cares about a toilet seat cover? Just give it to me! After a long back and forth, they still refused to give it to me directly. Their stubbornness over such a small thing making a guest unhappy – is it really necessary? Is a negative review over a trivial item what your hotel truly desires? The room window was incredibly close to a residential building. Starting around 6 AM, residents would make loud noises, doing who knows what. Overall, the experience was very mediocre. Anyway, during these four days in Nanchang, the general quality of service staff, as online reviews suggest, was poor. And this isn't even a Golden Week holiday. Imagine how bad the service would be then! [Angry] Let's talk about the hotel breakfast. The sausages were pure starch. For the mixed noodles, on my first day, I found the utensils weren't cleaned properly. I immediately asked the waitress to take them away. She went into the kitchen and mimicked what I said, which I heard very clearly. Then, I found a small stone in my mixed noodles and immediately showed it to the staff. There were two children in the restaurant at the time, so parents with kids need to be extra careful about this. I told them I would complain to Ctrip. Before I even had a chance, they contacted Ctrip directly, asking Ctrip to help them smooth things over. I was on the fifth floor of Tengwang Pavilion at the time. The hotel didn't proactively reach out to understand the situation or even ask for my room number. They offered to waive my room fee, which I understand perfectly – they just want me not to leave a bad review. My review is meant to inform future guests, especially about the stone in the food for parents with children to be aware of. Also, a reminder to everyone to bring your own toilet seat covers, as they won't proactively provide them.
This time I stayed at this hotel in Honggutan and I was deeply impressed. As an important part of business travel, the hotel's performance is top-notch.
In terms of service, the hotel's staff are enthusiastic, professional and attentive. Whether it is the front desk reception or room service, they can respond quickly to my needs and provide thoughtful help. Especially for business meetings, the hotel's meeting facilities are complete, and the service staff can provide professional advice and support according to meeting needs, so that my business activities can go smoothly.
In terms of environment, the hotel's design is simple yet stylish, creating a comfortable and elegant atmosphere. The guest rooms are spacious and bright, with complete facilities and comfortable bedding, allowing people to relax and enjoy a high-quality sleep. In addition, the hotel's restaurant offers delicious and unforgettable dishes.
Overall, I am very satisfied with my accommodation experience during this business trip to Honggutan. The hotel's service and environment have reached a very high level, and it will be my first choice for business travel in the future. I highly recommend everyone to come and experience this hotel. I believe you will also praise it as much as I do.

GGuest UserDisappointing stay here. We had no choice but to extend our stay because it was Chinese new year and very difficult to find another place to stay and also my husband was sick so we had to change our plans and stay an extra night so he could rest.
The place smelled like smoke everywhere. We have a baby with us and wanted a smoke free place. Despite the signs in the lobby saying No Smoking, people were smoking there and the front desk people didn’t care. The towels in our room had ashes on them and smelled like smoke. They were also ripped and badly needed to be replaced. (We got a smoke free room and learned on our trip that all they do for smoke free rooms is open the windows to air it out before you arrive. 🤦🏻♀️)
There was insufficient toilet paper when we arrived and although they did provide more when we asked it was just inconvenient. The toilet paper holder was broken so we had to find somewhere else to put the roll of toilet paper. The sink leaked and it was supposed to be a dry washroom which is one of the reasons why I booked the place but turned out to be a wet washroom. Incredibly inconvenient with a baby.
The shower drainage was missing a cover and it didn’t feel safe for my child when showering because her little feet could get stuck inside it.
One of the days we needed to rest a little longer and the housekeeper asked us when we were leaving so she could clean our room. We said we needed 2 more hours (around 2pm) she kept trying to peer inside our room and said she wanted to get off work early. I found that incredibly rude. I understand it’s CNY and you want to go home early but that’s not something you should say to a guest who paid to stay at the hotel. Front desk people also did not seem friendly. Never saw any of them smile. We obviously don’t speak Chinese fluently and they laughed at us when they couldn’t understand us and wasn’t helpful in any way.
Overall, not a very pleasant stay. Would not stay here again.
MM278890****The family room was very thoughtful, equipped with children's picture books and even a swing. My kids loved it! The room was also clean and hygienic, and the owner was very warm and welcoming. It also has a lovely small courtyard with beautiful scenery.
UUseràThe room was very nice and clean, and the accommodation is just a few minutes' drive from the entrance to the scenic area. There are plenty of restaurants along the same street as the property.
The only downside was that from 5:00 AM on there was a lot of noise and people talking in the stairwell and at the reception.
SSeet-HutterWe decided to upgrade to a ground floor suite and it was the best decision. The suite was bright and spacious with a private terrace overlooking the lake from which you got a spectacular view of the neighbouring Bajing park and bridge as well as an islet with a tree full of white egrets. The suite had both a bathtub and separate shower and a cosy niche with a circular bay window for enjoying one's tea. The grounds and public areas of this hotel were immaculate, and one can't help but be impressed by the cleaners constantly sweeping up every last leaf in the courtyards. The staff were all friendly and accommodating, from the receptionist who retrieved our laundry when we were out, to the lady owner who greeted us in the street and offered helpful suggestions for sightseeing, to the kitchen staff who tried their best to adjust to our western taste at breakfast. The hotel had a superb location on historic Bajing Street which was full of quirky shops selling antiques and folk crafts. The Song Dynasty cultural village, the Bajing Pavilion, the ancient city walls and the pontoon bridge were all within easy walking distance.
GGuest UserThe Huazhu Wuyuan Yueyuan Wufei B&B is amazing! 👍 The renovation of the old house was meticulously done. A professional designer designed the courtyard, preserving its ancient charm while maintaining elegance and comfort. The rooms are cozy and inviting, ensuring a good night's sleep.
The meals are authentic Wuyuan cuisine, and the proprietress's cooking is exceptional, making the specialties incredibly delicious. Breakfast and lunch offer a complete selection of Wuyuan specialties (pocket carp, steamed pork with rice flour, steamed fish with rice flour, Qingming fruit, etc.). The dishes are made with all-natural ingredients, including cucumber, cowpea, green pepper, and river chicken. The whole family devours every meal!
You can also cycle along the rippling river, amidst the gently swaying blossoms. In the courtyard, you can play pot-to-pot together, creating a truly immersive experience.
The attentive service makes it feel like home! 🥰
The proprietress and her family run the B&B as if it were their own home. Every corner of the old house holds history, every visitor has a story, and every dish the proprietress prepares is filled with warmth.
It is better to come here by yourself after seeing and hearing it. Feel the inheritance of this history and the love for life.
GGuest UserThis trip, we booked a B&B with two rooms facing each other. It's very convenient and perfect for families. Our fourth-floor room, with a terrace and bathtub, was incredibly bright. The moment we walked in, we were immediately struck by the bright light. The bedding was spotless and hygienic. Standing on the balcony and gazing out at the view was a truly refreshing experience. The hostess was also very enthusiastic about showing us a photo spot on the rooftop. There's a corner for drying autumn leaves, which is a great photo opportunity. I especially want to emphasize the B&B's excellent location and the hospitality of the owner and hostess. The owner personally drove us to and from the scenic spots, providing excellent service. The breakfast, while simple, was warm and delicious, and I could easily finish two large bowls. I'll definitely stay at Guoyun Mountain Court again.
GGuest UserI don’t write reviews unless it’s extremely good or bad. This might be my worst hotel experience ever while traveling in China. I ended up switching hotels because of point 3.
1. I booked for a non-smoking and quite room, ended up with a room smells like cigarettes. You can tell my smelling the curtains and the room walls. After complained, they changed room for me. I can smell the cigarette the moment I walked in. Then I ask to change it again, they refused. They said that I can sleep here for the night then they’ll consider changing the room.
2. I found stains on the sheets and ask them to change sheets. It’s the night staff’s first day working, and she doesn’t know how to change the sheets and make the bed properly (untrained employee being put on a night shift the first day working).
3. Then, they contacted the manager and finally changed me to another room. The security person came up and delivered the new room key. Honestly, this is the main reason I decided to switch hotels. He asked me: “What problems do you have?” I felt threatened and not safe. I said, I just want to sleep in a non-smoking quiet room. I am the customer and I paid to stay here. Is that a problem? He laughed. The way he looked at me gave me chills. It’s not a security person, it’s literally a g***ster off the street.
China is a safe country but not this hotel.

GGuest UserHemu is conveniently located close to the base of the beautiful Wugongshan. The hotel's atmosphere is relaxed and the rooms are tastefully decorated. The staff is very friendly and doesn't tire to give you tips for scaling the mountain. On top of that, the food is delicious. I can highly recommend staying at this place.
