3-Star Hotels in Jiangxi, China

We were traveling with our dog, so we had to book a pet-friendly hotel on the way. By chance, we stayed in this B&B. This is a hotel like a paradise. We drove a long mountain road to get in, which was thrilling. When we arrived at the hotel, we were amazed. It was very beautiful! It is backed by mountains and faces the lake, with beautiful scenery. Especially when we woke up early the next morning, the air quality was super good, with insects and birds singing, and returning to nature was great. I hope I can come again in the future if I have the chance👍👍👍

The room is very clean and hygienic, and the price-performance ratio is high. The hotel parking lot is very spacious, and the security guard guards it 24 hours a day. The waiters are very enthusiastic!

Shuttle service from Wangxian Valley Scenic Area entrance to the guesthouse: The owner offers convenient pick-up and drop-off. Service: Great. The breakfast was delicious, and there are many restaurants nearby. It's very close to the scenic area, the property is brand new and spotless, and the room is quite spacious, making it easy to store luggage.

We entered the room a little after 10 AM and killed 13 mosquitoes. We called the front desk and asked for a mosquito coil plug, but there were so many mosquitoes, and they said they didn't have one. Poor service! There were three bottles of mosquito repellent in the drawer, but no mosquito coil. They knew there were so many mosquitoes. The walls on the first floor were covered in mosquito bites. We spent the entire night swatting them. The soundproofing was poor. Someone was getting up and making noise around 6 AM. Poor review.

An unforgettable stay in a truly unique room. The space was crazy in the best way, super big, spacious, and incredibly comfy. The bathtub right in the middle of the room was such a bold and luxurious touch, and having a projector in the bedroom made evenings feel like a private cinema. Everything felt open, airy, and thoughtfully designed for relaxation. The room also featured a beautiful balcony, which would be perfect to enjoy in warmer weather. Unfortunately, due to the cold temperatures during our stay, we didn’t get the chance to fully enjoy it, but it is definitely a lovely addition to the space. The owner was exceptionally kind and helpful. He offered to carry our luggage up to the top floor, which we really appreciated. He also dropped us off at Wangxian Valley for free and picked us up again when we finished, a gesture that made our visit incredibly smooth and stress free. A few very minor notes, mentioned only for completeness in an otherwise excellent stay: the room is on the 4th floor and accessed by stairs, which may be something to keep in mind for older guests or anyone with limited mobility, although the owner is more than willing to assist. We slightly missed having basic breakfast or tea and coffee utensils. We only had a water heater and paper cups available. We also stayed during a cold wave with temperatures between -2 and 4°C, and while the AC worked, it struggled a bit to fully heat such a large space. Lastly, we only had disposable towels and one face towel, and would have appreciated standard bath towels. Overall, these small details did not take away from the experience. A beautiful, memorable stay with outstanding hospitality, highly recommended for travelers looking for something unique, spacious, and comfortable

Trip.com shows an average score of 4.7/5.0  . I personally think it deserves a 5.0. When I looked at the posted pictures, I wasn’t really impressed. When I went inside the room I was astonished at how nice the room actually look. The room look much better than the pictures.  The look of the 2nd floor on the side of the 民宿 facing the street is not good but once you step inside, you will enter into a very beautiful lobby and then further in the rooms.  I am picky about the workmanship of the room . The room is quite well built and it is hard to find any flaw. The room design is aesthetically beautiful. It is pleasing to the eyes. The white wall gives me a cheerful mood. The expansive windows offers an excellent view and a lot of natural light. The room is bright with bedside buttons to turn off the necessary lights when I went to bed. There are lounge areas where one can relax and enjoy the tranquil ambience. I like the shower area separates from the toilet . The shower stall has a door so area in front of the toilet remains dry after shower.  The location can’t be beat . It is very close , within walking distance of all major attractions. The street is full of antique stores but within 10 to 15 minutes you can find many food options. There was daily house keeping. Garbage was disposed and towels replaced during my stay. The cleaning crew really did a great job. I saw 3 different persons at the reception desk. They were all very helpful and kind. I have asked him to show me how to shut the window, turn on the heater etc and he came right away to help. The included daily breakfast offers a range of choices. I love this hotel and wish that I could stay longer. Many thanks to the staff of the 民宿for their hardwork . 

The Huazhu Wuyuan Yueyuan Wufei B&B is amazing! 👍 The renovation of the old house was meticulously done. A professional designer designed the courtyard, preserving its ancient charm while maintaining elegance and comfort. The rooms are cozy and inviting, ensuring a good night's sleep. The meals are authentic Wuyuan cuisine, and the proprietress's cooking is exceptional, making the specialties incredibly delicious. Breakfast and lunch offer a complete selection of Wuyuan specialties (pocket carp, steamed pork with rice flour, steamed fish with rice flour, Qingming fruit, etc.). The dishes are made with all-natural ingredients, including cucumber, cowpea, green pepper, and river chicken. The whole family devours every meal! You can also cycle along the rippling river, amidst the gently swaying blossoms. In the courtyard, you can play pot-to-pot together, creating a truly immersive experience. The attentive service makes it feel like home! 🥰 The proprietress and her family run the B&B as if it were their own home. Every corner of the old house holds history, every visitor has a story, and every dish the proprietress prepares is filled with warmth. It is better to come here by yourself after seeing and hearing it. Feel the inheritance of this history and the love for life.

The biggest headache for travelers is choosing a hotel. It’s really hard to choose. Fortunately, I have a unique vision and chose this Xijiantang Art Hotel. The atmosphere is beautiful, and the large balcony on the third floor is no worse than those Internet celebrity hotels. Super movie. I thought I was in a resort hotel. The location is perfect. It is very close to all attractions. The surrounding scenery is very beautiful. Opposite is the river view. You can enjoy the breeze and take a walk. The hotel is clean and tidy with complete facilities. The sister at the front desk Very welcoming, breakfast is also great, very suitable for the taste buds of out-of-town babies, highly recommended

The guesthouse is located near the cable car, just a few minutes' walk away, making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing. The owner is very kind and can even provide pick-up and drop-off services! The guesthouse has its own parking lot, which is also very convenient. The bedding was clean, soft, and smelled of sunshine, making it very comfortable to sleep in. The bathroom had a separate shower and toilet area and was completely odor-free; the attention to detail was excellent. The owner was very responsive, providing everything from check-in instructions to recommendations for nearby restaurants and attractions. They were incredibly helpful, even bringing us sunflower seeds, oranges, and drinks. The owner's wife was also very hospitable and kind! I don’t write reviews unless it’s extremely good or bad. This might be my worst hotel experience ever while traveling in China. I ended up switching hotels because of point 3. 1. I booked for a non-smoking and quite room, ended up with a room smells like cigarettes. You can tell my smelling the curtains and the room walls. After complained, they changed room for me. I can smell the cigarette the moment I walked in. Then I ask to change it again, they refused. They said that I can sleep here for the night then they’ll consider changing the room. 2. I found stains on the sheets and ask them to change sheets. It’s the night staff’s first day working, and she doesn’t know how to change the sheets and make the bed properly (untrained employee being put on a night shift the first day working). 3. Then, they contacted the manager and finally changed me to another room. The security person came up and delivered the new room key. Honestly, this is the main reason I decided to switch hotels. He asked me: “What problems do you have?” I felt threatened and not safe. I said, I just want to sleep in a non-smoking quiet room. I am the customer and I paid to stay here. Is that a problem? He laughed. The way he looked at me gave me chills. It’s not a security person, it’s literally a g***ster off the street. China is a safe country but not this hotel.
