I chose the Hou Kong Hotel this time and was very satisfied. You can take bus 25 from The Venetian to Shui Kang Mei, and the hotel is right across the road. The soundproofing is excellent; with the windows closed, you barely hear a thing. A special thanks to the two front desk staff, Picky and Edie, who were very kind, enthusiastic, and had a great attitude! There are also plenty of dining options around the hotel!

I do not know why it took me so long to truly discover this side of Macau. First off, this hotel is located within walking distance from Senado Square/Ruins of St Paul. It is located on a street where there are many Filipinos. There are two Filipino supermarkets and a Filipino takeaway store. It is also close to the main road where a bus stop for the route going to the airport. There are several stores nearby. You can even walk to the terminal where you can catch a ferry to Zhuhai (mainland China). I would definitely stay here again. Front desk people are warm and helpful. The room itself has two bottles of water, toiletries, water kettle, phone, safety deposit box, hangers, TV, slippers. Love it! The only thing I wish is for the toilet to have a bidet. Otherwise, it's perfect!

The hotel's location is very convenient, directly opposite Lee Kum Kee, making it easy to find. It's about a ten-minute walk to the Ruins of St. Paul's. From the room, you can see the back of the Grand Lisboa, and there are many eateries nearby with reasonable prices. The hotel's cleanliness is impeccable, very well maintained. However, the disposable bedding isn't very soft, and the pillows are too flimsy.

The location is excellent, very close to Ponte 16. It's a fantastic choice for budget travelers. It's also conveniently located near a market, and the eateries on its second floor offer great sea views. As an added bonus, I even caught a fireworks display!

I was very satisfied with my stay at Macau Holiday Hotel! The hotel's location is super convenient, right in the city center. You can walk to attractions like Senado Square and the Ruins of St. Paul's, and there are many restaurants and malls nearby, making it very convenient for daily life. The front desk staff were enthusiastic and helpful, check-in was quick, and they even offered directions. The room was clean and tidy, spacious, with a comfortable bed and good soundproofing. The overall environment was warm and quiet, offering great value for money. I highly recommend this hotel whether you're visiting Macau for the first time or looking for a short break – it's convenient, comfortable, and reassuring! 🌟

The hotel hard to find. Macau people have to guide me to the place. Same name with the hotel in area make me lose direction and late for my boat trip. Be careful about that.

The Grand Three-Star Hotel is tucked away in an alley, boasting an excellent location surrounded by amazing food just a few steps away. It's a great value-for-money hotel, highly recommended. I'd definitely choose it again for my next trip. However, a heads-up: absolutely avoid the Tianxiangyuan dessert shop shown in the pictures, which is diagonally opposite the hotel. They charge in RMB, not MOP, and when I questioned the owner afterward, she was incredibly rude, claiming it was her 'house rule.' Don't fall for their scam.

My partner and I stayed at this hotel in Macau last time, and this time I brought my kids back to stay here again. The transportation and location couldn't be more convenient. The famous Hong Kung Night Market is right downstairs, and there are many old local shops in the surrounding alleys – discovering hidden gems every day was a real joy! It's just a few minutes' walk to the Municipal Affairs Bureau, and also very close to the Ruins of St. Paul's, about a 10-minute walk. You can go see St. Paul's at night or in the early morning to avoid the crowds. The hygiene is excellent; although the room is small, it has everything you need! The staff at the front desk were incredibly friendly and welcoming! The only downside is that you can only book through a third-party agent. I made a mistake with the check-in and check-out dates when booking, and the agent was very unhelpful. They wanted to charge me 300 HKD to cancel the order even within 30 minutes, and I couldn't directly modify the dates either. In the end, Ctrip helped me communicate with the agent. Even though I had to pay the room rate difference, Ctrip's service and efficiency deserve a thumbs-up 👍 This is why I trust Ctrip!

The room was quite small, but you get what you pay for. The “hotel” is in an old building, you’ll have to walk up 2 floors to reach there, so beware if you have heavy luggage. The check-in lady (Local Cantonese speaking aunty) was nice enough to rush-clean a room for me so I can early check in and even helped me fix the air conditioner remote even when she was having her lunch. The Putonghua speaking staff was so so. The area is filled with restaurants and supermarkets, and also a bus stop is just a 2 minute walk away.

YyramegevLocation is great if you’re planning to visit popular tourist spots. Cleanliness was well maintained too — the toilet was spotless. However, the check-in experience was EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING. ========== (TL;DR) Imagine you had to experience this after a 4 hours flight ========== The young female receptionist I encountered on arrival handled things very poorly. She kept insisting she couldn’t find my booking, smiling the entire time as if it were a joke. Instead of checking properly herself, she kept handing me random printed bookings, one after another, asking me if any of them were mine. It honestly felt like I was doing her job. If the names were even slightly similar to mine, I would understand. But she passed me almost every booking she had in her hands, including ones with clearly Japanese or ********* names that were nowhere close to mine. I even asked her, “So does that mean I’m supposed to sleep on the streets tonight?” Yet she still giggled, with zero sense of apology or urgency. It made me wonder if she had ever been trained in basic customer service or professional ethics. Eventually, she finally handed me the correct booking with my name. But even then, after I confirmed it was mine, she said, “I gave you this earlier and you said it wasn’t yours.” Like… excuse me? You’ve been passing me completely unrelated bookings the whole time?! I initially wanted to rate the service 1 star, but I added one more because the hotel cleaner left a good impression, the cleaner auntie was polite and attentive. ================================================================================ Facilities: The TV in my room was broken, so I’m guessing it was just for decoration. Ventilation also seemed poorly designed. Despite booking a non-smoking room, I was woken up early in the morning by cigarette smoke seeping in from outside my door. Not recommended for light sleepers either, as the soundproofing is weak. I could clearly hear people talking outside, though I’m not sure if they were in the corridor or inside another room.

MMhelanieThe experience of staying in the place is great! It is convenient for those who needed a place to stay temporarily. Also to include the place’s destination, wherein it is close to the tourists spots that we wanted to visit and take pictures. Overall, the place is good and convenient for everyone.

MM255478****The location is super easy to find, nestled in a residential area with a strong local vibe. The room itself was incredibly spacious and spotless – honestly the biggest room I've ever stayed in during my many trips to Macau, more than enough space for two. The lady at the front desk was lovely; she gave us a heads-up about various things and even suggested some great local spots for food and fun. For authentic local eats, head to the second floor of the nearby Lower Deck Market (下环街市). Even late at night, there are plenty of delicious food stalls downstairs. There's one stall, run by an old lady, that only opens at 6 PM, and her curry powder is absolutely delicious!

GGuest UserThis is the perfect hotel for non-casino travelers like me. It’s as close as it can be to the historical center, very clean, spacious and most importantly cozy room (other hotels had cold tiles instead of nice carpet). I want to say that the receptionist at night (Unfortunately I didn’t write his name down) was extremely helpful and KIND. He not only answered my questions, but even told me about history of the city, gave me advice how to experience food and drinks on a budget, even encouraged me in my dreams to study at HKU. I was sorry he wasn’t at the reception when I came back from my night walk anymore. If his boss is reading this, give this man a raise, he is doing great job. When I come to Macao again, I will, without doubt, choose this nice boutique hotel and I will recommend it to all my friends. The pic is a screenshot from video, so it looks shaky. Room was very cozy.

HhclingThe Green Tree Inn is super close to the Gongbei Port, just about a 10-minute walk straight from the exit. The hotel environment is comfortable, and the front desk staff, both the lovely ladies and handsome gentlemen, are warm and polite. The rooms and bathrooms are clean and hygienic, and the Wi-Fi connection is smooth. The breakfast offers a great variety too! Right outside the hotel, there are two bus stops, making it convenient to get anywhere. Overall, my stay at the Green Tree Inn was really good.

CChocoBananaRamaWe found this hotel to be very convenient and all basic amenities are complete. It was also very clean and the room did not have any smoke smell. Initially we were a bit wary as we arrived late at 11pm, and there were a few loud guys in the lobby that looked a bit drunk, but that was just a one-time occurrence and the next day was fine. Deposit of 100HKD required upon check-in. The hotel even gave us a small souvenir, how lovely! Staff was very professional & quick to issue our room key. Water heater doesn't feel hot enough at night and may need to wait for some time before the water gets warmer but no issues for us. There is no fridge in the room. Elevator is small but fits most mid size luggage nicely. Saw some reviews commenting the beds were hard but we found the bed to be quite comfortable. Location was excellent and very near to restaurants, places of interest, minimart, bus stops. We took bus 3,3X from Gongbei customs side and stopped near the hotel. Going to Macau Airport was also super convenient- just at the street across the hotel at Kam Pek Community Center, many busses available to take us to Barra LRT and then to Airport. It was also easy to walk to other hotels which provided free shuttle to Cotai areas. We had such a wonderful time in Macau and at a hotel that is very value for money! ❤️
