The hotel's location is great. I asked the front desk for a quieter room, and I stayed for several days. It's very convenient for a solo traveler. There's a bus stop right outside, and plenty of places to eat. The rooms are non-smoking, and it's just across the street from the 16 Pu area.
The hotel is in a very good location just walking distance from grand Lisboa. Its also very close to a few bus stops which allowed for easy travel around Macau. We booked a twin room and got upgraded to a triple room at no extra cost. Comfortable and nice enough for a night or two, would maybe feel a bit cramped if you planned a longer sta
I do not know why it took me so long to truly discover this side of Macau. First off, this hotel is located within walking distance from Senado Square/Ruins of St Paul. It is located on a street where there are many Filipinos. There are two Filipino supermarkets and a Filipino takeaway store. It is also close to the main road where a bus stop for the route going to the airport. There are several stores nearby. You can even walk to the terminal where you can catch a ferry to Zhuhai (mainland China). I would definitely stay here again. Front desk people are warm and helpful. The room itself has two bottles of water, toiletries, water kettle, phone, safety deposit box, hangers, TV, slippers. Love it! The only thing I wish is for the toilet to have a bidet. Otherwise, it's perfect!
Room is Clean and tidy (although it’s a bit tiny), trust to be newly renovated for not long. Location is pretty good, at the intersection of 2 main roads. Convenient stores, supermarkets, restaurants and coffee shops are all available nearby.
The Only and the biggest disadvantage is about the bed mattress. It’s really too hard, feel like sleeping on the floor. Hope they could improve this.
The location is excellent, very close to Ponte 16. It's a fantastic choice for budget travelers. It's also conveniently located near a market, and the eateries on its second floor offer great sea views. As an added bonus, I even caught a fireworks display!
I was very satisfied with my stay at Macau Holiday Hotel! The hotel's location is super convenient, right in the city center. You can walk to attractions like Senado Square and the Ruins of St. Paul's, and there are many restaurants and malls nearby, making it very convenient for daily life. The front desk staff were enthusiastic and helpful, check-in was quick, and they even offered directions. The room was clean and tidy, spacious, with a comfortable bed and good soundproofing. The overall environment was warm and quiet, offering great value for money. I highly recommend this hotel whether you're visiting Macau for the first time or looking for a short break – it's convenient, comfortable, and reassuring! 🌟
This was by far the best stay we had in Macau.
For its price, I can say I was surprised.
Service was good, reception spoke English and were nice.
Room was clean.
We were very near to a walking street
Overall good!
The Grand Three-Star Hotel is tucked away in an alley, boasting an excellent location surrounded by amazing food just a few steps away. It's a great value-for-money hotel, highly recommended. I'd definitely choose it again for my next trip.
However, a heads-up: absolutely avoid the Tianxiangyuan dessert shop shown in the pictures, which is diagonally opposite the hotel. They charge in RMB, not MOP, and when I questioned the owner afterward, she was incredibly rude, claiming it was her 'house rule.' Don't fall for their scam.
This hotel offers relatively good value for money, especially considering how expensive accommodation can be in Macau. It's located near the core attractions of the peninsula, though a bit towards the end, but still within walking distance. There's a bus stop nearby, making it convenient for getting around. The room itself is small and simple, but all the basic amenities are fine. You can also store your luggage at the lobby. One thing to note is that 'G' in Macau typically refers to the first floor, but in this case, the first floor is actually the second floor.
The location is great, right in the middle of the old town. There are also many shops and restaurants in the area, and there's good access to public transportation. Although the room was small, it was clean and all the amenities were in good condition. It is also cheap, by local standards. Overall, a great option for a short stay.

YyramegevLocation is great if you’re planning to visit popular tourist spots. Cleanliness was well maintained too — the toilet was spotless.
However, the check-in experience was EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING.
========== (TL;DR) Imagine you had to experience this after a 4 hours flight ==========
The young female receptionist I encountered on arrival handled things very poorly. She kept insisting she couldn’t find my booking, smiling the entire time as if it were a joke. Instead of checking properly herself, she kept handing me random printed bookings, one after another, asking me if any of them were mine. It honestly felt like I was doing her job.
If the names were even slightly similar to mine, I would understand. But she passed me almost every booking she had in her hands, including ones with clearly Japanese or ********* names that were nowhere close to mine. I even asked her, “So does that mean I’m supposed to sleep on the streets tonight?” Yet she still giggled, with zero sense of apology or urgency. It made me wonder if she had ever been trained in basic customer service or professional ethics.
Eventually, she finally handed me the correct booking with my name. But even then, after I confirmed it was mine, she said, “I gave you this earlier and you said it wasn’t yours.”
Like… excuse me? You’ve been passing me completely unrelated bookings the whole time?!
I initially wanted to rate the service 1 star, but I added one more because the hotel cleaner left a good impression, the cleaner auntie was polite and attentive.

Facilities:
The TV in my room was broken, so I’m guessing it was just for decoration. Ventilation also seemed poorly designed. Despite booking a non-smoking room, I was woken up early in the morning by cigarette smoke seeping in from outside my door. Not recommended for light sleepers either, as the soundproofing is weak. I could clearly hear people talking outside, though I’m not sure if they were in the corridor or inside another room.
MMhelanieThe experience of staying in the place is great! It is convenient for those who needed a place to stay temporarily. Also to include the place’s destination, wherein it is close to the tourists spots that we wanted to visit and take pictures. Overall, the place is good and convenient for everyone.
GGuest UserGreat location in walkable distance from all main areas, shops and restaurants nearby, quiet and safe area, very helpful staff and easy check-in, the room is big enough with good bathroom, fresh towels, comfortable bed and very clean, good wi-fi and air conditioner.

MM336331****This hotel was much better than expected. My dad said he had the best sleep of the entire trip here. Compared to all the places we stayed during this vacation, the beds at this hotel were the most comfortable. It's also genuinely very close to the gate, within walking distance. Traveling with parents and a 5-year-old, this suite offered incredible value for money. There's a supermarket downstairs, and next to it, there's even a community-like children's play area where my child spent a long time playing the next day. A big thank you to James, Sarah, and Luna for upgrading us to a higher floor, which gave us a fantastic view to wake up to. The breakfast was good too.

QQiuliuyeshiyingzhengThis was my second stay, and this time I brought my family along. It was great! We also enjoyed the beautiful view from the window. Plus, they thoughtfully prepared a fruit platter for us this time, which was a nice touch. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit Macau.
