Had a wonderful New Year trip! The hotel is conveniently located just over 200 meters from Tin Hau MTR station and very close to a bus stop, making it super easy to get around by metro or tram. There are also plenty of food options right downstairs to the left. What's truly amazing is that the room has windows on two walls, offering stunning views of Victoria Harbour. We could also see the brightly lit and bustling Victoria Park ***** New Year Fair, which really added to the festive atmosphere. The room even provided a universal adapter, which was very handy for charging devices. Oh, and there's complimentary afternoon tea and a breakfast buffet – a fantastic bonus!

Great location, very convenient. Breakfast is on the 2nd floor, and there's a Big Player (arcade/entertainment center) right across the street, which is also really convenient and good value. It's also right next to Kowloon Park. The environment is good, and the room is clean and tidy, equipped with a hairdryer and an iron.

Executive Lounge Afternoon Tea: After a day out, it's great to come back to the hotel for afternoon tea instead of having to find dinner outside. The afternoon tea was excellent. The breakfast buffet was quite rich. The rooms have been renovated, they are clean and tidy, and it's quiet at night with good soundproofing. It's about 350 meters from Wan Chai MTR station, which makes getting around very convenient. For Ctrip guests, no deposit is required upon check-in, and check-out is hassle-free – just return the room card and leave. I will definitely stay at this hotel again on my next business trip or vacation to Hong Kong.

The hotel's location is good, and the surrounding environment is pleasant. With four beds in one room, it's perfect for families traveling together. The buffet offers a wide variety of dishes and the quality is quite good. It's about a 15-20 minute walk to New Town Plaza, or a 29 RMB taxi ride. The Moonlight Restaurant next to the hotel is also very reasonably priced. The only thing I was really dissatisfied with this time was that I had specifically requested a high-floor room away from the elevators when I checked in. Instead, I was given room 579, which was the closest to the elevator. Apparently, because there were so many guests, our room type was only available on the 5th floor. Also, since I was staying for two consecutive nights, I wanted the bedsheets changed daily. However, the room attendant said that for consecutive stays, sheets are only changed every three days. I don't understand why this is the case – I'm paying for the room every day, so shouldn't the second day's room rate be half or a third off?

The room was spacious, which is a rare find in Hong Kong. The facilities were very new, making for a pleasant stay. The sea view room offered a wide, open view, and the surrounding area had convenient transportation, making it easy to get to popular spots. Highly recommended!

This hotel is super convenient, just a 5-minute walk from the Airport Bus No. 21 stop. Both the male and female staff at the front desk were really welcoming and friendly. I booked the room over a month in advance, and it was great value for money. The room wasn't huge, but it had everything I needed: an air purifier and a fridge. They don't provide toothbrushes and toothpaste (you can buy them at the front desk for 2 HKD), but disposable slippers are available. The room was generally very clean, and the other guests staying there were pretty quiet, so I didn't have any issues with noise at night. The breakfast was fantastic and had a wide variety. I especially recommend the xiaolongbao (soup dumplings) and the congee. They were also very prompt in refilling items when there were a lot of guests.

Of course, it can't compare to hotels on the mainland. But for a city like Hong Kong, where space is at a premium, it's a pretty good old-brand hotel. Besides being a bit old, everything else is quite good 👍 The location is excellent. For that reason alone, I'd consider staying here again.

I originally wanted to give a bad review, but my kids said, 'Mom, the staff here are all so dedicated and hardworking, let's give them a good review instead.' First, let me start with the positives. The staff were very friendly and quick to resolve issues, which the kids loved! The breakfast was good value for money; it would have been even better if they had congee with shredded pork or similar options that kids enjoy. On the morning after our first night, both of my children had numerous red rashes on their ankles, bitten by some kind of insect. The first day was severe, and the kids scratched themselves raw. Luckily, I brought some herbal ointment for them. I didn't think much of it on the first day, but on the second night, their feet started itching again. I called customer service to ask for a solution, inquiring if they had any medicine or medical staff. Turns out, they had neither. Later, three staff members came to the room and quickly helped us change the bedding. We were too tired to change rooms as we had spent a whole day at Disney. They changed everything very quickly and worked hard, which my children noticed and said how good the staff were. However, the issue itself was just left unresolved. I told my kids then that if I were the type to be very serious about things, I would hire a lawyer and sue the hotel for letting my kids get bitten like that. I was so angry! I truly don't know what bit them, and I'm very upset! We came out to have fun, and then this happens! The hotel didn't even apologize; they just changed the bedding and sprayed some disinfectant... The pictures were taken two or three days after the bites, and the swelling had already gone down a lot. I think the hotel should take responsibility and seriously address this matter! I've been so busy taking the kids out to play these past two days that I almost forgot about this. Now that I have some free time, I quickly wanted to post this review!

This hotel is located in Hong Kong's Central and Western District, right by the sea. After arriving in Hong Kong and clearing customs, we bought a round-trip bus ticket at the Citybus counter (which is cheaper than using an Octopus card directly). We took Airport Bus A10, putting in half a bus voucher, and got off at Chaohong Street, which is right behind the hotel. For the return journey to the airport, we boarded the bus on Water Street, in front of the hotel, using the return bus voucher for a direct ride. For sightseeing, if you're going to Macau to take the Golden Bus, you can opt for A10, or take the 'ding ding' tram to the Hong Kong-Macau Ferry Terminal for the TurboJET or Cotai Water Jet. There are also 'ding ding' trams (a ride costs HK$3.30 no matter how far you go), buses, and the MTR nearby, making transportation very convenient. The location is excellent. The hotel lobby's side door leads directly to 'Li Gong Restaurant' (Food God Li Gong). Just a few tram stops away is 'Liu An Ju', so you can try different places for dim sum every day. You can also easily get to Kennedy Town, Happy Valley, or Central to catch the Star Ferry to Tsim Sha Tsui and the Avenue of Stars. From Central, you can take bus 6 or 6X to Repulse Bay and Stanley. Alternatively, take the 'ding ding' tram to Bank Street, cross the pedestrian bridge, and take the Peak Tram. You can also visit Shau Kei Wan on the east side of Hong Kong Island to see the fishing harbor, and on the way back, stop at Causeway Bay, Golden Bauhinia Square, Admiralty, Central, etc. – all easily accessible by tram with short walks from the stops. At 30 square meters, the hotel room for three people is quite spacious compared to similar hotels. The front desk staff were all very helpful; every time we had a question, they responded seriously and followed up. What I liked most was that the hotel didn't require a deposit for normal settlement. Although it's an older hotel, it's cleaned meticulously every day. You'll need to bring your own toiletries and mineral water, but there's a kettle to boil water and a universal power adapter, which is a thoughtful touch. From value for money to service, this hotel has earned our approval, and we'll definitely choose to stay here again.

I stayed at the Metropark Hotel Kowloon for one night and had a very pleasant experience. The location is fantastic—right above the MOKO shopping mall and directly connected to Mong Kok East MTR station, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the city or catching a train to the border. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, offering a quiet retreat from the bustling city outside. While the room size was typical for Hong Kong (efficient but not spacious), it had everything I needed for a short stay. With the mall and numerous dining options right at its doorstep, it’s a great choice for both business and leisure travelers looking for convenience and comfort.

AAnonymous UserFacilities: It's an old hotel. I stayed here 20 years ago, and it's been renovated since then. The air conditioning is a bit noisy. Room: As is typical for Hong Kong, the rooms are quite small. Location: Excellent. It's in the heart of Hong Kong Island's old urban area, right next to a park. Getting anywhere is very convenient. The MTR (subway) station is a short walk away, and there's a bus terminal right downstairs. Supermarkets, McDonald's, Watsons, and more are all nearby. Service: Standard, acceptable.

YYunbaiThe room is a bit small, but the hygiene is decent. It's located next to Aberdeen, about 1 kilometer from the city center. The actual location is Tin Wan Village (which can be understood as a small town), and the seaside is a typhoon shelter for fishing boats. There are a few restaurants just a few dozen meters downstairs. It's okay for a one-night stay, quite quiet, and offers a glimpse of Hong Kong different from the bustling downtown area.

AAnonymous UserFacilities: The room was small but had everything I needed, making me feel very secure! I really liked it. Hygiene: Very clean, satisfied. Environment: The hotel's interior is beautifully decorated, and there's a lounge area next to the front desk where you can enjoy free coffee. It's also a very quick walk to Prince Edward MTR station. Service: The service was excellent, not at all unfriendly towards guests as some negative reviews claimed. I was a bit worried after seeing those bad reviews before coming, but it turns out the front desk staff were very nice and patient.

AAnonymous UserI had a great stay at this hotel. The location is very convenient, as it is close to the bus stop for both arrival and departure, which made traveling with luggage much easier. The room matched the description perfectly — clean, modern, and nicely designed. Even though the room is small, the space is well organized and comfortable. All basic amenities were provided, including a hairdryer, towels, toothbrush, soap, shampoo, and an electric kettle. One highlight was the water purifier in the room, which helped me save a lot on bottled water. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay and felt it was great value for money. I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit.

AAnonymous UserThis hotel's location is undoubtedly one of its biggest selling points. It's just a few minutes' walk from Wan Chai MTR station, making it incredibly convenient to get to Central, Causeway Bay, or even the Golden Bauhinia Square (where you'll find the famous mobile soft-serve ice cream truck). Right behind the hotel is the well-known Lee Tung Avenue (aka 'Wedding Card Street'), and next door is a larger, more retro Kee Wah Bakery, along with many other unique specialty shops. The surrounding area offers a fantastic array of dining options, from local snacks to upscale restaurants, so you'll always find something to your taste. The service also left a deep impression. From the front desk to room service, the staff consistently showed patience and attentiveness, creating a warm and genuinely welcoming atmosphere. Even during busy periods, they maintained an excellent standard of service, which made the stay even more pleasant. While the elevators are a bit small and you might have a short wait during peak hours, it didn't significantly impact the overall experience. The breakfast area isn't large, and seating is limited, but the quality of the food makes up for it. Although the variety isn't extensive, every dish is executed very well. The dim sum, in particular, is on par with what you'd find in a good local teahouse. The sticky rice chicken was soft and flavorful, the lava custard buns were perfectly balanced in sweetness and saltiness with a rich flowing filling, and the steamed dumplings had thin skins and generous fillings – definitely worth trying. The coffee was also a pleasant surprise; the latte's milk foam was wonderfully creamy and smooth, and the Americano was clean-tasting with no acidity, making it a perfect pick-me-up at breakfast. The check-in process was very smooth, with no deposit required, which saved a lot of hassle. Drinking water and toiletries were already prepared in the room beforehand, showing thoughtful attention to detail. Overall, this stay was a delightful experience, offering both the convenience of its location and the satisfaction of excellent service and food.

GGuest UserIt was an amazing stay! The thing I liked was that the room was spacious and we had a balcony. This would’ve been a perfect 10/10 if it weren’t for the toilet problem our room had. But the hotel was so accommodating and made sure our room was cleaned every day because of the toilet issue. I would definitely consider coming back.

GGuest UserThe room was very spacious, equipped with a kitchenette and all the necessary dinnerware. The views were open and expansive. While the location might be a bit challenging for first-time visitors to Hong Kong, the hotel offers several complimentary shuttle services to and from Central daily. The Pedder Street shuttle stop is conveniently located at the bus station near Central MTR Exit D1. There's also a stop at IFC, but I haven't personally used it, so it's best to inquire with the hotel for specific boarding points. If you prefer taking public transport, from Admiralty Station Exit B, turn right for about ten meters onto Tamar Street, then turn right again and walk twenty meters to the bus stop for the 12A. It's only two stops to the hotel, at the 'YWCA' stop. From there, walk back about twenty meters to reach the hotel. When heading back to the hotel from Central, the 12A bus is also the best option. It will first go to Admiralty Bus Terminus and stop for a few minutes while the driver takes a break. You can simply wait on the bus; there's no need to purchase another ticket. I figured this out after staying for four days, as the 12A is a short circular route specifically designed for MacDonnell Road residents. Every time I queued at Admiralty, I'd see people already on board, leading me to conclude they had traveled from Central and were waiting to go up the hill back to MacDonnell Road.

GGuest UserThe hotel itself is located in a relatively quiet corner of the TST hot spot near the ISquare/Harbour City, it is relatively hard to miss the impressive front door of the black marble looking exteriors. Check-in is Very smooth, cash deposit are required but easily done. For the first time staying of this hotel i’ve requested a higher level room and a quiet corner, which happens to be 11th (top level except roof common area). Room is as advertised ,very spacious and clean looking (typical wear and tears of material aging is expected but doesn’t looks gross). for visitors that enjoys their own balcony view it is better to ask ahead if the room assigned has it, for me although it was a room that didn’t which is fine, but the eye catch is the toilet - bath tub and the shower is separated which allows flexibility for both type of bath time enjoyers too, those whom need longer stays and/or like taking long bath in a tub will enjoy the big tubs, but the overhead ceiling shower is just as great for morning refreshers. bed had its own smaller TV screen with wall mounted extend arms for lazy watching which is great if you’re relaxing while enjoying the Victoria harbour view from the window, but also a living room bigger tv , although the downside is sometimes the remote will controls both units at the same time, so nighttime tv bingeing becareful of volume bursts from a different tv. room air conditioning is room self-controlled - the panel is right next to the main TV so for travelers that is sensitive to temperature differences is a plus, as you don’t have to worry centralized air con streaming cold airs in cooler days or during sleep, you had the control at your own hand. only things that may be worth considering is that the room is wood tiled - occasional cracks from old tiles misaligned can occur when you step on it so if your roommates are light sleepers and prone to awakening from noises, that could be a problem. also while unfortunate as it is during festive times and beyond hotel controls, noise can be excessive if there neighboring room(s) are booked by party goers or occupants had returned drunk. as the hall noise is very auditable. security is standard where after 6pm it requires your room keycards to access lifts and the hotel doors as well. A small but noteworthy point is the gym at 6th floor and their rooftops- technically on the 12th floor, the roof is a fairly open area with a limited but still great view of the Victoria harbour amidst the neibouring buildings that is 2-3 rows away from the harbour side. while not certain is it remained open overnight as long as accessing with keycards, it is great for the city view. however not recommended for people with Fear of heights- as glass barriers are only to waist levels that can be easily lean over. also the rooftops lift indicator is not as visible/auditable while waiting for it arrivals, so if the single lift that can reach the rooftop is out of services it may become unavailable , or if unlucky you might be locked out. overall it is a surprisingly fair price but great accommodation choices, while noise concerns can be servere if you happen to be unlucky when other floor occupants go berserk, but surrounding areas noise is not intense even it is next to Kowloon Park Drive intersection ramp just 1 block away.

GGuest UserVery spacious, neat, and clean. I was surprised by how great the overall facilities were; it offers much better value for money than other places. The only drawback might be that the road downstairs is a bit narrow, making it easy for taxis to get stuck in traffic when coming in. Everything else was perfect.

AAnonymous UserHotels in Hong Kong are generally like this; you can't expect too much. However, what sets this one apart is the 24-hour coffee service. Some say it's not great, but just having a place where you can always get a hot coffee and relax is a huge plus. In the morning, there are even more coffee options and a variety of bread. While simple, these little touches, including the breakfast service staff, all come at a cost. It's truly rare and commendable that the hotel maintains this standard.
