Slightly pricey for the hotel, but really good location and friend staff members. They can help with delivery/ taobao/ anything you need! Hotel room was clean and sufficient space - but its next to the road and the honking is pretty loud.. better at night though. Another issue is that there’s no fridge/ safe so you might want to take note. Great hotel overall!!

The rooms are beautiful as in the pictures. The hotel is modern and has a young and technologic vibe. The location is perfect. Near to the subway and to Nanjin Pedestrian road on a walking distance. The reception communicated with us through a translation tool. They allowed us to check in before the check in time and for this reason they upgraded the room for free. Everything went smoothly

I stayed in a double bed room without a window and was genuinely impressed. Despite the lack of natural light, the room was clean, well-equipped, and surprisingly quiet—great for a restful sleep after a day exploring Shanghai. The bed was firm and comfortable, the air conditioning worked perfectly, and amenities like the shower and toiletries were high-quality for this price range.
The hotel’s location is unbeatable—just a few minutes’ walk to Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street, People’s Square, and several metro lines. Plenty of shops, restaurants, and attractions are right around the corner.
Staff were helpful and check-in was smooth even for a non-Chinese speaker. For the price, convenience, and comfort, I’d absolutely stay here again. Highly recommended for travelers looking for a practical base in central Shangh

Exceptional Stay - Outstanding Service!
We had a wonderful experience staying at this hotel. From the moment i arrived, the staffs were incredibly helpful, attentive and professional.
Their warm hospitality and willingness to assist with anything we needed truly made our stay feel comfortable.
Breakfast perfectly fine for elderly and provided late porridge. Laundry service is good too!
Location is also perfect, walking distance to major attractions.
Though the room size is slightly smaller than kthers, it does not affect our stay. Understand it located at golden area.
Overall, we would stay again if go shanghai, and highly recommend to anyone looking for great service and convenience.

Overall the hotel was clean, however some of the issues were only due to wear and tear. The room was very spacious and was implemented with the smart home feature. There was a McDonald’s downstairs and it was right opposite 2 shopping malls. Additionally it was located a 5 mins walk from the Train Station.

Like the location, prompting me to take more train than cabby, location is just next to station 1 stop away to people park (foodie location). Right below newly Starbucks service, breakfast is decent light meal for myself with fresh bananas. 7-eleven is just below, although station does look run down. Smart rm is full of apps suitable for local tourist that had subscriptions. Rm are of decent size with a total of 8 storeys, services are overall nice and friendly. Is definitely a place that will visit again if I am back to Shanghai.
It can be pretty dark at night, but is quite safe, although I still won’t recommend walking from people park back to hotel at night.
Luckin coffee coming up soon. Lobby accept deliveries on guest behalf.
Oh ya there’s no securities box or ironing board in the rm. Gym is decent. There is a standing steam ironing there beside the washing machine.

Exceptional service from the minute you step into the hotel lobby. Warm welcome and easy quick check in. Check out was simply dropping off the cards. Hotel is beautiful clean and modern. Breakfast buffet was delicious. Across the road via safe overpass is shopping centre with food galore, very cheap and professional hair salon, dentist, spa treatment. Just 5 mins walk is Yu Garden. Absolutely amazing! Will stay here again. We would rate it as 5 star ⭐️ hotel.

An amazing hotel. Clean, modern and at a convenient location. It’s even better than the Marriott I stayed at Shanghai. I love their toothbrush, pillow and tea biscuits too. I highly recommend this to any overseas traveller wanting to experience a local Chinese chain hotel in China. I’ll definitely stay again in an Atour chain hotel if I visit China again!

The hotel and its rooms are classy, modern and hi-tech. Check-in was smooth and we got an upgrade to a room with windows. Toothbrush set and kids bedroom slippers were provided at check-in.
We were lucky to have the view of Oriental Pearl Tower from our room. Love the thick and fluffy toilet floor mat.
Our food deliveries were sent to the room by a robot waiter. The room phone will ring, a recorded message will inform you that the robot is waiting outside your room. Tap on the blue icon and wait for the compartment to open. After collecting your items, tap the blue icon to close and wave bye to the robot.
The hotel is located 1 street away from Nanjing Pedestrian Street and train station. There is a Starbucks at level 1 and a convenience store opposite.
Would stay here again 😊

TTugrnv.olVery nice hotel, we would like to come one day back. We had a big room, it was great for us after small rooms in Japan. However I noticed one minus - we had early check out and didn’t have time for a breakfast. They packed breakfast for us, but it was just bread, apple and yogurt. I still don’t understand for what we need three bread 🥖. Otherwise it was nice stay
FFairy DeeThe room is good and small but doesn’t feel crammed. Front desk is friendly and speak English. There’s a laundry room. Food will get delivered to your room. Walking distance from the subway , Shanghai railway station and most land marks. It’s in the center of the city or close to it. Many restaurants close by. This was my third stay and I’d stay here again.
GGuest UserHotel Mia is a nice stylish hotel that is moderately priced in a good neighborhood. The staff did have limited English but with the help of a translator app they were always friendly and accommodating.
We arrived at the hotel early and was able to check in right away which was a great plus. I liked the style of the hotel but the design of the room sink was a bit lacking as it didn’t drain very well. Also the plumbing had a slight unpleasant smell which is probably attributed to being in an old historical area. The windows could also be better insulated as u can hear the street noise which might bother some guests.
GGuest UserCitadines Gubei Apartment Hotel is a great place to stay in Shanghai. Convenient location, there are all the necessary shops nearby. The hotel itself is very comfortable, polite staff who always helps. We stayed with the children in a two-storey room and it was just a delight, we were very comfortable. Very comfortable beds. The room has a kitchen area, which was very convenient for us, we even used a washing machine.
We liked the breakfast, the choice is very large. We will definitely return to the Citadines Gubei Apartment Hotel the next time we are in Shanghai.
DDocPandaI recently stayed at URSIDE and had a consistently pleasant experience. The room was clean and well-maintained upon arrival, and I appreciated the thoughtful touches—especially the cleaning staff, who were both respectful and attentive. They politely checked if I needed service (without being intrusive) and even offered bottled water, which was a nice gesture.
Though I didn’t often eat at the hotel, the one breakfast I tried was delicious and reasonably priced. The location was another highlight: easy access to the subway and multiple bus lines made exploring the city effortless.
No noise issues during my stay, and everything functioned as expected. For travelers prioritizing cleanliness, convenience, and friendly service, this hotel is a solid choice. I’d happily stay here again!
IitsfinekathieThe hotel is not so far from Red line (Shanghai Railway Station) Exit 1 is easier for you to walk to the hotel. Otherwise you will have to walk sooooo long... (i did that on day 1 of my trip because map doesn't really work well and in fact i almost cancelled it and book a new hotel lol)
It is clean, daily cleaning and super cheap i could stay here for weeks & it is not so far from all touristy places. Some are 5 stops away and some are like 3 stops away. I don't really mind.
**requested a non smoking room and i got a non smoking room, much appreciated**

HHilda LoeThis is my 2nd stay at this hotel. Location is superb with easy access to subway station, Nanjing Rd walking street, restaurants, shopping malls, to the Bund & more. We stayed at the family room with breakfast for 3 adults and it was spacious enough for 3. Breakfast spread is very good from western to local - yummy!
Our room includes the access to the executive lounge which was very nice - had afternoon and even drinks and snacks there.
We enjoyed the gym very much, it was a properly equipped one with a super cute and friendly cat that comes in every now and then to say hello. The best gym mascot every :-)
TTristan TracerThis is my first international trip from the United States so I was very nervous, but the hotel and especially the staff made me feel super comfortable. Having such welcoming and helpful staff as well as a super clean hotel to come home to after a busy day of exploring could not have made us happier here. The front desk will do absolutely everything to make your needs feel met. The shuttle options were also nice. I didn’t get any photos of the room but it was absolutely perfect, and the lobby and dining area were beautiful. They serve different things every morning included in your stay which is a great tasting and cost effective way to get your morning started. The location is really nice, close to the train station which is going to take you to tons of really cool places no more than an hour away. The drive to the major attractions within Shanghai is about 30 mins give or take.
