Travelers Reviews of Beijing Hotels

Yiting Zhenshe Hotel (Beijing Qianmen Pedestrian Street)

Qianmen (Front Gate) and Chongwenmen Commercial Area
Go straight out of the hotel lobby door, turn right to go to the nearest metro station/exit which is Zhushikou. Turn left to eat and shop at the famous Qianmen street and also other hutongs/alley. Totally worth it. Plus, there’s a Luckin coffee and Lawson opposite the hotel. Really convenient! They kept the room really clean. There are some complaints about the drainage smell which there really is in the toilet but you will get used to it and eventually it will disappear as you take shower. Overall it was a very good experience and nice place. The staffs were friendly and helpful. Remember to clean the filter of the dryer if you wish to use it. As it’s quite dusty but I think people rarely use it anyways so I am fine with it. I even helped them clean and wash the dust away. Anyways, I will definitely book again if I come back to Beijing. 💯

We truly enjoyed our stay at 前门漫心. They were very attentative and thoughtful right when we arrived at the hotel. Hot pear soup were served to warm us up while they settled our check in. The front desk noticed that it is my girl's birthday the next day and asked if we would like to have a surprise for her. We were expecting a small piece of cake, but they surprised us with a whole room filled with the balloons and decorations. This is definitely a fond memory for my girl. The staff helped to order takeaways for my sick child ( one even offered to cook for her) and helped booked our 相声tickets too. Appreciate all their kind gestures. Special call out to 李伊,郭海強, 張鵬飛

The room is not large but perfectly well equipped with all you need. Spot on cleaning, very travellers friendly room, love the universal plug and bed side switch! Free minibar in your room and mid night snacks at the lobby. Breakfast is mostly Chinese style- carb heavy and lacking variety. Absolutely love the self serviced free laundry and drying in the lobby too! The staff is so nice and gone beyond to assist you! They’re pretty responsive and can be reached with WeChat! The only cons is the room smells like cigarettes which I find it pretty common across mainland China.

True Go Hotel (Beijing West Railway Station Liuliqiao East Subway Station)

Beijing West Railway Station Area
The room supply was tight during the Spring Festival. We booked a room at 9pm. We wanted a quiet room away from the road, and it was satisfied. The soundproofing was OK. It was quiet if you were away from the road, but you could hear the noise in the corridor. It was not noisy and was very quiet when you were sleeping. The fresh air system was easy to use, the screen projection was simple, and the service was also very good. Necessities, water and drinks were provided. The room service was fast, and there was a robot for delivering meals, so you didn't need to go downstairs. The quality of the breakfast buffet in the morning was also very good. If you have a lot of luggage, the manager downstairs will help you bring the luggage up. There is a printer on the first floor, which can print documents, which is not inferior to the 5-star hotel I stayed in before.

As a solo female traveler, I often seek accommodations that offer comfort, safety, and a welcoming atmosphere. I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Hotel, and I can confidently say it exceeded all my expectations! From the moment I arrived, the staff greeted me with warm smiles and exceptional hospitality. They were quick to assist me with my luggage and provided a detailed overview of the hotel’s amenities and nearby attractions. Their attention to detail made me feel genuinely valued and at ease. The room I stayed in was beautifully appointed with traditional Chinese decor, providing a perfect blend of modern comfort and cultural charm. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the peaceful ambiance of the hotel allowed for restful nights. I particularly appreciated the cleanliness; the housekeeping staff went above and beyond to ensure everything was spotless. Safety is always a priority for me when traveling alone, and I felt completely secure within the premises. The hotel has 24-hour security and a well-lit entrance, which added to my peace of mind. Additionally, the location is fantastic. As a solo traveler, I also appreciated the opportunities to meet others in the communal lounge area. It was a great place to relax after a day of sightseeing, and I had the chance to connect with fellow travelers and share experiences. In conclusion, I highly recommend this hotel, especially solo female travelers. The combination of outstanding service, beautiful accommodations, and a safe environment made my stay truly memorable. I can't wait to return to this little oasis on my next trip to China!

I really liked the hotel. The room is comfortable, modern and spacious. Everything in the room is new and clean. It was completely quiet at night, although the hotel was completely full - this is very good. The mattress and pillows on the bed are excellent, I slept great. The staff is wonderful - they helped and answered all questions. The location is great - 10 minutes walk to the main square and 5 minutes to the pedestrian street. There are many restaurants and shops around.

The apartment looked like those in the photos, and is spacious and comfortable. Hotel is within a rustic Hutong (small street). Had no issue for drivers to pick us up in front of the hotel, though the streets were a bit narrow. There is also complementary coffee machine at the B1 common area. Walk to either MRT took about 10 min, and many attractions were near hotel. We really enjoyed our stay!

This is an extraordinarily good hotel you will not believe how beautiful and comfortable the rooms are, the location is not central but the staff will book a Didi car for you and they will help you with anything you need using an electronic translation service. I have to thank Abby the Assistant Manager at front desk and Eric the Front Desk Manager for their attentive, super professional and helpful and kind service always with a smile. They have made me feel like a VIP during my stay and I wish cherish these memories for a long time to come and the best of it is that they are inexpensive!
