We recently had the pleasure of staying at UrCove by Hyatt Beijing Forbidden City, and overall, it was a great experience. The hotel's location is fantastic—just a short distance from the Palace Museum and Tiananmen Square, making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing.
The room was clean and comfortable, providing a nice space to unwind after exploring the city. One highlight of the stay was the complimentary warm porridge, which was excellent and a delightful touch. The rooftop platform offered amazing views, adding to the overall charm of the hotel.
While the complimentary items in the mini bar could use some improvement, this was a minor issue. We did encounter a small housekeeping matter where the shampoo and body wash were not replenished, but the staff quickly resolved it, showing their attentiveness to guest needs.
All in all, my stay was pleasant, and I would happily recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Beijing.

We had a very pleasant stay at Citigo Hotel Sanyuanqiao. The room was clean and well-maintained, with a practical layout—although not very spacious, it comfortably fits two 28” suitcases. If you're traveling with more luggage, space might feel a bit tight. I appreciated the separate toilet and shower, which is convenient when sharing the room.
The housekeeping staff were very friendly—especially the cleaning lady on our floor who always greeted us with a warm smile. The hotel also offers some excellent amenities: free laundry service on the ground floor, a gym, snooker table, and even a game station. I also liked that the hotel was completely non-smoking, as I didn’t notice any cigarette smell throughout the premises.
A big bonus was the nightly supper provided at 10 PM for guests, which was a thoughtful touch. Breakfast had a good variety of options, though the dining area can get quite crowded before 9 AM. The lady at the noodle station was particularly friendly and welcoming.
The location is also a major plus—just a short walk to the MRT station, making it easy to reach the airport and explore the city. However, do note that getting to major tourist attractions usually requires at least one line change.
There are two 24-hour convenience stores nearby (Lawson and 7-11), and a five-story shopping mall within walking distance, which made grabbing food or other necessities super convenient.
Overall, this hotel offers great value with thoughtful services and a convenient location. I’d definitely consider staying here again when visiting Beijing.

Unbeatable location in central Beijing—steps from Wangfujing, just above Jingyu Hutong Station exit B, and just a short walk or bike ride to the Forbidden City午门. The modern and well design facilities and healthy breakfast made our stay memorable. Nearby, endless dining options and shopping malls eg apm, 喜悦 added to the convenience. What truly stood out was the exceptional service—from the reception to housekeeping and restaurant staff, everyone went above and beyond. The complimentary laundry was a lifesaver for our family. A wonderful 5-day stay—highly recommend!”
We came back a second time because we liked the hotel so much. It is very clean and the staff is extremely kind and helpful.
They offer snacks and water throughout the whole day and an evening snack as well.
The hotel is in very good walking distance (5min) to the metro station and it has a small gym you can use anytime it also has free weights.
We will definitely come back for a third time.

Convenient hotel in the heart of the city within walking distance to major attractions such as Forbidden City, and a short stroll to Tiananmen Square. Metro station is about 3 mins walk away. Staff were friendly and ready to lend a hand in any way. Bed was comfortable and generally the room was clean. No issues about noise despite being only on the second level. Toilet seat is automatic. You can also send your online parcels to the hotel and they will keep them safely for you, likewise food deliveries will be either stored on the front counter for you to self collect or they will use their robot to send it up to you (this takes some time so self collecting is a much more efficient mode)
Some slight negatives - although the room was generally clean, I found stray hairs occasionally (eg in the sink) and also saw a small fake eyelash on the bath towel once. The AC wasn’t working (only fan mode was operational) which meant that the room could get warm on hotter days - the staff explained that this was because the weather outside was still cold. During my time, only the first day was warm, and the other days were pretty ok. You can open the window (though very small and with no view) to let some air in, and also use the in-room air purifier to circulate the air.
Other than that, the stay was extremely pleasant and staff were also accommodating to let me check out later!

I booked 2 nights first and then booked another 2 nights. It’s just a right decision!! The hotel has everything exact what we need. The room is spacious, has all essential equipments. The bathroom is a bit small but still enough for us. There is self-service laundry room, you need to pay for it. If you need help, the staffs will help you. If you still have time, they also have the gym room for you to do some exercises. There is a convenient store next to the hotel to buy food, personal stuffs…etc.
Additionally, we visited BJ in winter, so the room only has heater. It was a bit hot and the hotel offered us the fan. It’s perfect. The location is also near by attractive places. Highly recommended. 👍🏻

This Mercure hotel is located in the embassy area so we feel pretty safe. The staff are absolutely lovely. They are always happy to help. Free complimentary bottled water is provided. Location wise, it is near the Chaoyang men station. 15 min to Tian'an men square and national museum. The interior is a nice classic french style. Chinese and western style breakfast, good for international and domestic customers.

Hotel is great for transit passenger. airport pickup and delicious breakfast. Overall, this Hotel in Beijing is an excellent choice for those looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay during their flight transfers. With its convenient location, friendly staff, and range of amenities, it offers a great value for money and ensures a pleasant stay for all guests.
We would recommend this hotel. It’s a very chill and aesthetically pleasing spot in a busy city. The shared lounge area and garden are cosy and great places to enjoy coffee or read a book. Everything felt clean and comfortable. We got a free upgrade to a bigger room. Right across the hotel there are some shops where you can buy good food, the egg sandwich you can buy there is great. There is a bus stop right in front of the hotel, which was very convenient. The staff is very friendly as well and made an effort to communicate with translation apps. We would definitely come back.

We booked this hotel last minute vis Trip.com and found it super easy to get to. One downside at the entrance is there is no ramp (we had a toddler with a pram daily) but there are only a few steps so it is easy to get over them. Everything else is great, very well kept rooms and service was always really fast and convenient. The location is really good and is honestly only a 5 min walk to Tuan jie hu station which makes going to all the places really easy. Tai Koo Li is also only a 5 min walk.

From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm hospitality and professionalism that set the tone for my entire stay.
The hotel's location is ideal, offering convenient access to restuarants, stores and 230meter walk from Zhushikou metro station, making it perfect for both leisure and business travelers. The premises are beautifully maintained, with elegant decor of Old Shanghai style reminiscing the 1930s that creates an inviting and luxurious atmosphere.
My room was a bit small but comfortable. It was clean with modern amenities such as kettle and bar fridge. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep.
The service at Yiting Zhenshe Hotel (Beijing Qianmen Pedestrian Street) was outstanding. Their friendly demeanor and attention to detail truly made a difference and enhanced my overall experience.

TThe Bit SpaceHighly recommended to experience the taste of Courtyard 民宅四合院. Very convenient location, right at Qianmen. No need to worry about food and drinks, as you are just seconds away from DaShiLan street. The subway is also nearby as well as major attractions such as Tiananmen Square and the Palace Museum. The staff are friendly and attentive, always greeting you when you enter and exit the lobby, and even offering warm drinks during this cold winter.

GGuest UserThe hotel has warm service, clean and tidy, and a superior location, which makes it very convenient to go to the Old Summer Palace and the Summer Palace. The hotel staff is warm and helpful, and the room price is very affordable, with high cost performance!
You can also write the word ”Fu” when you check in on the first day of the Chinese New Year, and paste it on the door yourself, which makes you feel the New Year's atmosphere when you are away from home

EEnkh RenI recently stayed for three nights at Park Plaza Beijing and had a wonderful experience. The hotel was quite clean and well-maintained, making for a comfortable stay. The staff were friendly and helpful, spoke English. Though the hotel is a bit far from the Gaobeidian subway station, it was still manageable with a short taxi ride. One highlight of the stay was the beautiful river nearby, which offered a serene spot for walking and relaxing. Overall, a pleasant and peaceful stay in a nice part of Beijing.
JJulian PeensThis is a beautiful hotel situated in the mountainous region of Beijing. The surroundings and view from the hotel are breathtaking at sunset and weather was extremely good during our stay.
STAFF
The staff were amount the most helpful and friendly that I have encountered in China thus far and I have been here more than five years and traveled to many destinations. They do not speak English but are very ready to use a translation APP or WeChat to communicate. The staff are very accommodating and even took special requests regarding the menu.
FOOD
The food was very well prepared and tasted delicious. Their menu unfortunately does not have pictures and the translations may be tricky if you are not particularly familiar with Chinese cuisine. Nevertheless, the food that we at was fresh, tasty and of high quality. We were able to BBQ by ourselves by reserving it a day in advance. The staff will also help you BBQ if needed.
LOCATION
The hotel is situated far from the city and a sense of comfort can be experienced knowing that you have left the hustle and bustle of the city behind. However, make sure all amenities and personal effects that you may need are with you as you cannot get same day delivery services. There were some construction vehicles which made noise occasionally in the area but I would suspect this is temporary and will soon pass.
ROOM
The rooms are beautiful and we experiences no dysfunctional amenities in the bedroom. The linen on the beds were crisp and clean, the room was clean upon arrival and daily cleaning is offered. Overall cleanliness was very good. The washroom area is stocked with a loofa, toothbrushes and toothpaste tubes, shampoo, shower gel, conditioner, razor, hand towels, cups and reasonable space for personal toiletries too.
POOL AREA
The outdoor patio looks out onto the pool. The water was well maintained and some pool toys were provided by the hotel. The pool area could use some maintenance, for example, around the stairs there are a couple loose tiles on the stair face and some weeding around the footpath could be done. Other than this, the environment is completely mesmerising and leaves one completely relaxed. Calming music is played throughout the day at a low volume. At night, this area is well lit and the scenery beautiful.
BAR
The bar is well stocked with spirits but a slightly wider variety and maybe the addition of a drinks menu would definitely improve this.
ROOFTOP
The hotel has a rooftop deck perfect for sundowners and viewing the surrounding mountains. Tables and chairs are provided on the rooftop.
