The location is great, about a 7-minute walk from Cianjin MRT station. The front desk staff were exceptionally helpful. The first room we were assigned was quite noisy, and we had to contact the front desk twice to change rooms before we found one we were happy with. The staff were very accommodating and helped us change rooms each time. Having a coin-operated laundry room was also very convenient!

A comfortable, clean, and welcoming hotel that offers great value for money. I would definitely consider staying here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a convenient and enjoyable accommodation experience. Though I wish their foods would have other variety like dishes from other country's specialty. As a Filipino we did not enjoy much of a Chinese food, we prefer savory/salty foods, but overall, it was a nice hotel to stay in. Hotel is near Ximending night market and Ximen station. very convenient.

Had a pleasant stay at CP Hotel. It's in a good location, very close to the airport and within walking distance of the Gloria Outlets and IKEA. The rooms are clean and tidy, which is a top priority for us. The staff from the front desk to the cleaning staff were very welcoming. A great value for the price!

The hotel’s location was ideal — within walking distance to the train station and close to several bus stops, which made getting around easy and convenient. The staff were courteous and very helpful, always ready to assist whenever we needed something. The only drawback was the air conditioning, which wasn’t quite cold enough, though they promptly provided extra fans upon request. Breakfast was complimentary — simple but decent. Overall, a pleasant and comfortable stay with warm service and a great location.

I highly recommend this hotel if you're visiting Tainan – it's incredible value for money! 👍 The service was warm and attentive, and they even kindly upgraded our room. The room itself was well-equipped and comfortable. Plus, it's super close to historic old streets, markets, and attractions. I'll definitely be staying here again.

7 mins walk from Kaohsiung Traing / MRT Station. Situated at the junction of the main road it was very easy to locate. Check in was quick and efficient and staff are very friendly and helpful. Room was spacious, clean, quiet and with a big bath tub. Will definitely book again next time if travelling to KHH.

Nice budget friendly hotel with good buffet breakfast included. Couldn't find any instrns to get to this hotel so document here for future travellers. For those taking either Red line (from Zuoying HSR) or Taiwan railways to Kaohsiung station, head towards exit 2, go up a couple of escalators till u reach a big open atrium n see the Taiwan Railway Information lobby, walk to the side with big sundial. Take the escalator on the right to ground level (Jianguo 3rd road) and you will see the hotel on the opposite side of the road. My family stayed in 2 rooms. One of the room had the sink outside the toilet. Not good because the water and drain pipe can be noisy. Free coffee and tea available in the lobby and free use of laundry machines. There is a row of fast food outlets next to hotel, supermarket PX Mart abt 10 minutes walk away. 15 to 20 minutes walk to Liuhe night market.

AAnonymous UserGotten a basement room, the room is clean but kinda small to open up the luggage. Also because it's basement room, there is a constant musky smell emitting from the toilet and filled up the room pretty fast. Have request for a change of room but it is similar issue. Overall it's a comfortable stay near XMD but the room smell is pretty bad.

GGuest UserThis stay was in the Pine View room, located in the newer annex. The facilities were new and clean, and the hot spring water quality was excellent. The overall lighting and environment were good. Unfortunately, the shower head was broken. The double bed was made of two single beds pushed together, and the mattresses felt quite old, with a noticeable bump where they joined but a dip in the middle, which made it hard to sleep comfortably. The breakfast offered a decent variety of Chinese and Western options. The staff were friendly and had a good attitude. I'd suggest they pay more attention to the quality control of the bamboo shoots served with the congee; they had a strong rancid smell, as if they'd been sitting for a long time.

AAnonymous UserThe location is pretty good, very close to Beiche/Ximen Station, and there are many convenience stores, fruit shops, and restaurants downstairs. The only drawback is that I specifically booked a room with a window, but when I opened the curtains, it was just a solid wall, LOL, I was speechless!

GGuest UserI personally lean towards traditional hotels, and at least I didn't experience any of the negative reviews I saw online. Hotel Facilities: It's an older hotel, but my room had been renovated. The interior is definitely a complete contrast to its exterior. Room: For the price, it's incredibly good value. The room was spacious enough whether I was staying alone, as a couple, or with my partner. The air conditioning, hot water, TV, and hairdryer all worked perfectly. Breakfast: They ask you for your preferred dining time when you check in, but maybe because I was staying alone, it didn't really affect me, so I didn't need to specify. The variety of food was extensive, and they changed items daily. I don't understand why some reviews claimed that eating outside for 70-80 TWD would be better; an extra breakfast here only costs 50 TWD. Anyway, they had vegetables, congee, salad, fruit, eggs, bread, etc. For meat options, there was grilled chicken chop, kimchi pork belly, breakfast sausages, and ********* braised pork. The coffee was either from a well-known international brand or the hotel's specially selected freshly ground beans, which I thought was a nice touch. However, I found it a bit odd that you had to return your own trays – it is a hotel, after all. Staff: The staff were very friendly and polite. Check-in was handled in both Chinese and English, and they thoroughly explained my room's features, inquired about my needs, and discussed cleaning arrangements. The only minor issue was that I requested a change of bedding on the third day at noon, after two nights, but it didn't happen. I assume the regular staff member for that floor was off, and the replacement didn't change them, as they just straightened my duvet and put the tip I left back on my pillow. Despite that, it didn't impact my stay at all, haha.

AAi Lun. CThe bustling downtown and market are just a 10-15 minute walk from the hotel. Nearly all the staff were incredibly friendly and professional in answering our questions. This trip marked our seven-month anniversary, and it added so many wonderful memories as we head towards our eighth month together. Upon check-in, the hotel learned we were celebrating our anniversary and thoughtfully upgraded us to a mountain-view room. The in-room welcome drinks were incredibly generous, featuring mini beers, plum wine, coke, and Pocari Sweat – essential for rehydration after a soak; they even included face masks to pamper us while we enjoyed the in-room hot spring bath. All the room's fixtures and fittings were new and high-quality: a Toto washlet, a Panasonic 1400 nanoe hairdryer, a thoughtful wooden gua sha massage comb, and hyaluronic acid-infused shower gel that left skin feeling smooth and soft. What truly amazed me were the double-layered automatic curtains (even in the room's private hot spring area!). The double room's bathtub was spacious enough for up to four people – a very comfortable size. In the afternoon, the lobby offered preserved fruits and freshly brewed tea, perfect for a relaxing break after a dip in the outdoor public hot spring. After dinner, they provided handmade kumquat-flavored tofu pudding, and it was unlimited – so generous! (There's a lovely staff member in the lobby, Tina, who's a treasure trove of recommendations for local food and sights; don't hesitate to ask her for her secret list of must-try places!) Last but not least, I highly recommend trying the hotel's breakfast, especially the freshly blanched beef soup. Even my boyfriend, who grew up in Tainan, the home of beef soup, couldn't stop raving about it. *If you're planning a weekday visit like we did and want to try some local famous eateries, be sure to check their opening hours in advance. Many popular spots are only open from Friday to Sunday or during specific hours, like mornings until 2 PM. (Luckily, you can find a lot of food on Uber Eats!) Heartily recommend!

GGuest UserThe location is sweet, 5 mins walk to the closest MRT, and there are even YouBike and Bus for traveling. There are 3 convenient stores nearby, which is good. Since the beginning of 2025, hotels in Taiwan won't provide amenities, so the convenient store can be used to purchase any if you need them. Drop-off and Pick-up in the area is slightly askew, do be careful as it's beside the traffic light. Counters for check-in are locate at level 3, The room is a good size; I'm able to open my luggage fully. However, the walls are slightly thin, so neighboring up or side rooms closing doors or accidental bumps are heard from time to time. The bathroom has a separated toilet (with bidet), bathing, and bathtub. The concierge folks are friendly and able to store luggage to return for collection on the last day.

TteeheeheeLocation: • About 5–10mins’ walk from Beimen Station & Taipei Main Station (Airport Express), which is very convenient • Close to long underground shopping mall, BUT many entrances/exits only have stairs • Taipei Main Station seems near, but the station is huge, so walking there can feel closer to 15mins. • There’s a bus from XMD that stops right outside the hotel. • Around 15–20mins’ walk to Ximending & Ningxia Night Market, which was great! Room: • Staying on lvl 1 was convenient as we didn’t have to wait for lift • But there’s less security since anyone can access the corridor • The room was very clean • Water pressure in the shower was excellent • Bathtub & shower are combined, which can be dangerous & not ideal for elderly guests. Service: • Self check-in and check-out were smooth and easy • Efficient room service • You can pre-order Fuhang Soymilk for bfast & pastries from famous shops like chiate to be delivered to you. Overall: 8/10 ☺️

GGuest UserThe location is very convenient with the Simen MRT just a short walk away. It's good if one plans to use the MRT frequently. It's easy to walk around the whole Simending area from the hotel. Did not try any food at the hotel as one is spoilt for choice in terms of food from the Ximending area. The air-conditioner was not working properly from the first day, as it was very warm and couldn't be adjusted. Called for someone to take a look and was told they would come immediately. Waited but no one came. Called again and was told they would come by later. We were going out and they reassured us that their service staff would come by accompanied by another staff. Shortly after the call, the service staff arrived, unaccompanied. It was just as well we had not left. The room is big but the design has not been well thought out. The sink is located outside the bathroom. Its design (low sink) and mirror behind means, when one uses it to wash face etc water is splashed around and the floor gets wet. However, the hotel does not provide any more towels other than those given so one has to move the floor towel(mat) between the bathroom and the sink outside. The lighting system is also not very convenient. We had 2 double beds but there was no way to control the lighting so that if one party wanted to sleep, the other party could read. The TV system (with the box hidden behind the TV itself) frequently had signal issues. It was common to be unable to change the channel or the signage No signal would appear frequently either early in the morning or late at night. We also had a bathroom where the floor just in front of the WC had a slight damage in the form of a black patch which however looked very unsightly. It would have been good if the hotel had done something to make it look better as it left a poor impression. We had requested for a quiet room. Unfortunately, almost every night/morning there were people talking loudly or kids shouting. Overall, if one does not plan to spend time in the bathroom, it would be a good choice just for the location and convenience.

GGuest UserThe staff were incredibly warm and responsible, providing thoughtful service. The room was odor-free and very clean. There was sparkling water and drinking water available in the public areas, and the mini-bar was a welcome sight after a late check-in. Breakfast was a semi-buffet, with slight changes to the self-service options daily, making for a pleasant dining experience. The hotel is close to the subway station, which makes getting to attractions very convenient. The subway station also has drugstores where you can buy many things, and there are 7-Eleven and other convenience stores nearby, making daily life very convenient. Overall, I was extremely satisfied with my stay.
