Hotels near Guangde Temple in Kaohsiung

We like Just Sleep Hotel Tainan because it is very clean, beautiful and modern. The beds are really comfortable and feel like clouds when we slept on them. We also like the food at the breakfast buffet, very delicious and worth the price. There were also free biscuits and coffee outside Just Cafe in the lobby. The staff were very friendly and nice too! Though the location is a bit off the main road, it is just next to Ten Drum Cultural Village which we could walk over easily.

I always stayed at Wei Feng Hotel when I came to Kaohsiung before, but this time I arrived at Wei Feng with my family members who have difficulty walking. We arrived at almost 5 pm. The room we stayed in was slightly at the back, which made walking difficult for our family members who had not yet received wheelchairs (my relatives would only go there after work in the evening). Bring a wheelchair) Generally speaking, the rooms are similar, except that there are only a few TVs to watch, the screen is old and the picture quality is not good, and the soundproofing equipment is not good. Just the sound of the door closing next door and talking to you are super loud! After staying for 4 nights, I don’t want to stay in a room at the back next time.

Old furniture and building. Provide free car parking which is great in center of Tainan, but need to stamp at lobby ticket which guardian gives you at parking. When I have asked for separate blanket (for double bed) they said they only can give plaid. When they has given it to me I found it is stinky, so I asked them to change for clean.

The location is very convenient~ the market is nearby~ shopping is very convenient The hotel staff is very hospitable and courteous~warm~make the journey very happy To say the disadvantages: sound insulation is a bit weak Sometimes there is D noise downstairs at night But it's okay~ The overall travel experience is really good

To enrich the atmosphere and environment for parent-child activities, the hotel has upgraded its executive rooms to pink and large rooms. The outdoor children’s activity space makes me want to bring my granddaughter here I will also try the breakfast next time I stay (no breakfast plan this time)

To comply with the plastic reduction policy, you need to bring your own toothpaste and toothbrush, or you can choose to purchase it from the hotel.

Strategically placed in the center of Tainan City, smack bang middle of the transportation hub. It is right behind the Main bus stations (North and South) which all buses in the city stop by (some start from those stations), so it would be very convenient for you to get around. As for the Train Station, it is a 3 minute walk from the hotel, which makes easier for people to travel further but still feel close enough to comeback. The hotel it self its pretty okay. The beds are clean and soft, they have a big bathroom, and spacious rooms for the most of it. For a budget hotel, i think its about worth it. The only downsides in my opinion are the windows, they layered them with black stickers and leave maybe a 10-20 cm gap that we can see through. Though it was buildings only buildings outside, feeling that you have more window view wouldn't be so bad. And the other thing, is the walls are a bit thinner, so it could not contain our noise neither our neighbours. Still, I understand that's a trade off. Overall, It's an okay place to stay.

The FX Hotel was an excellent choice for our 3-night stay in Tainan. The location is in the heart of the West Central District, meaning that popular sightseeing and food spots are just a few minutes walk away (I highly recommend Chef’s Cap Indian restaurant literally just around the corner from the hotel!). The room came with a very good shower; a bidet-style toilet which was quite tight; a comfortable bed; a desk and a sofa. We requested two extra pillows and had them quickly. The restaurant’s breakfast was not very diverse but what they did have tasted very good. All in all, I would stay in this hotel again as it was very good value for money - if for nothing else, then for the location alone!
