The location of Kaohsiung City Hotel was a definite highlight. Situated in the heart of the city, it provided easy access to major attractions, shopping areas, and public transportation. I appreciated the hotel's proximity to local markets, allowing me to explore the vibrant street food scene and experience the local culture. The rooms at Kaohsiung City Hotel were clean, well-maintained, and provided a comfortable space to rest after a day of exploration. While the decor was simple and understated, the amenities provided were sufficient for a pleasant stay. The bed was comfortable, and the room had basic amenities such as a TV, air conditioning, and a private bathroom.

my second stay in this hotel, good location nrar the tourist attractions Pier 2 , Love river and Kaohsiung harbour etc., also 500m walk from the nearest metro bars and restaurants all within walking distance. this time i arrived early(abt 10.30am) with the typhoon and rain outside, the guy in front desk kindly enough to let me in the room. also good to mention is the interior of the place is nice , will stay if i visit Kaohsiung again

The lady at the counter was kind and explained patiently and in detail. After paying for parking nearby, you can send the invoice to the hotel editor and then go to the counter to request payment, which is a big plus. The room is warm, beautiful and super clean, with many charging plugs. There are many restaurants and shops around, and the transportation is convenient. There is also a 24-hour snack bar, where you can drink coffee, iced drinks, cookies, cereal, and ice cream at any time!

During my 10-day trip to Taiwan, this was the best hotel I booked. It included breakfast and dinner and was not expensive. It was very convenient for lazy travelers who didn’t want to go out and were hungry. Especially the self-service coffee bar, which guests can use at any time, is very considerate.

Walking distance from Houyi station (there's 3 bubble tea shops along the way). One thing to note: nearest exit (exit 3) have escalators going upwards only, need to walk to a further exit with a lift (exit 2). Room wasn't very clean, TV remote control was so dusty. Hotel breakfast was meh, disappointing.

This is my third time staying here. The room type is different from last time. My family likes it very much. It is comfortable and highly recommended. There is a Dandan burger for breakfast, which is huge. ☕️

The air-conditioning is not cold enough, but the items are fully classified. Not only the needs of women are taken into consideration, but also the needs of boys. First of all, the transportation is convenient near the airport. Secondly, you don’t have to worry about running out of food when you buy late-night snacks nearby. Finally, although the hotel facilities are old, they are well maintained overall. It is a good accommodation experience.

This is my second visit since last time, and I am very worried after reading the reviews. Has the service quality changed? Check with the front desk when checking in to see if there is hot water? ? After all, when the cold snap hits, I still want to take a hot bath. When you arrive, you have to wait for the cleaning staff for about half an hour. It will feel better if you let the guests enter according to the time. This time I chose to stay in the VIP large double room. The space is super large. The room is very clean. The water in the bath is also very hot. It is very comfortable to take a bath. I stayed in room 208. In fact, the space is very large. The sex chair space is not used. The whole mood is very relaxing when taking a bath. , the only drawback is that there is no breakfast. After all, the New Year's Day holiday corresponds to high housing prices, and breakfast will be more valuable! It’s a good choice for couples to go on a date, at least the ones I’ve stayed at so far are pretty good☺️
