The hotel staff were very kind and friendly. The location of the hotel was all right. The breakfast provided by the hotel was okay. Though, having the steps to enter and exit the hotel breakfast area on the first floor was rather inconvenient and not safe. My elderly mother almost fell down. They should consider certain ways on how to make it safer such as adding a ramp. Also, my elderly step-father actually did fall down in the guest room because the hotel had a step to go up to and down from the bed area. He almost hit his head against the wall. It would be a good idea for the hotel management to consider how to rectify these types of situation.

The price of a family room including breakfast on the booking website is less than 2,000. It takes about 3 minutes to walk - there are ubikes nearby that you can rent! It takes about 15 minutes to walk to Guanghua Night Market for dinner. #Business hotel accommodation where you can book again! Breakfast is very ordinary - because it is very affordable, ordinary is ok! #EnvironmentalBusiness Travel? ? I thought it didn’t come with toiletries! All toiletries are included! Comes with four cans of water – it’s very thoughtful to put two cans in the refrigerator!

The room is large and the environment is clean and comfortable. It comes with free drinks, instant noodles, tea bags, and biscuits. The bathroom has a water bed, steam, and jacuzzi. Mineral water, bath salts, and steam bath bags are also prepared. The overall experience is well-prepared and considerate. Breakfast is served buffet style in the restaurant, with both Chinese and Western styles, which is quite delicious. Recommend~

The hotel is located near Kaohsiung Arena After visiting Ruifeng Night Market, it’s just a good time to check in! Although it is a business room, the room is quite spacious There are two doors to enter, which gives you a sense of privacy. The breakfast provided the next day was also quite sincere.

Kangqiao has many branches in Kaohsiung. I used to stay in the front building of Kaohsiung Station many times. I couldn't book that one this time when I came to Kaohsiung, so I found this one which is closer to the Sanduo business district! I chose a deluxe suite for the room. There is an entrance hall first when entering. It's a small apartment, the sofa can fit 2 seats very conveniently, and the desk is also very long! Once you enter, you can find the room, which is pretty big! Fortunately, I was given the room on the 8th floor, and there is no block from the building next door outside the window, so it's quite bright. Yes! The bathroom is also very big, but it feels like a home room, but in terms of CP value, it’s not bad! The only thing is that the station front building feels relatively new and clean! In terms of facilities, there are 2 sets of washing and drying facilities! And notify the front desk in advance and they will put it back in your bag for you to pick up when you come back! Not bad! The location is also good, just 2 steps away there is a larger shopping mall with many restaurants. There is also a night market nearby, which is good! Only their breakfast is really not flattering! There are only two ”hot” foods, cabbage and braised pork. The most ridiculous thing is that there is no smoke when you take it out, and it is cold when you put it back! The only hot thing in the whole place. It must be bread, because it can be heated in the oven...! So for the next two days, I went out to find a breakfast shop to buy breakfast! In addition, there was a late-night snack in the station front hall before, but there is no such thing here. ! Overall, the price is still acceptable, but if I had a choice, I would still choose the Zhanqiankan!

Really glad i picked this hotel to stay in Kaohsiung! It is near Kaohsiung main station (a big part of the station is under renovation as of August 2024 so the walk from the station is longer as we have to walk a larger loop compared to just walking straight out to the hotel - the hotel faces the main station directly btw). Nonetheless the hotel room is clean and spacious. The bed is larger than what I thought (feels more like a king bed for a double bed!) so that’s a huge plus. The hotel staff were really friendly and kind (living up to the hotel’s name), and we have access to the lounge area which includes free drinks and ice cream + some small snacks! I think these little things really add up to make the stay very pleasant! I would want to come back here next time I’m back in Kaohsiung!

A very FINE hotel (pun intended). The room was big. We had a big bathroom with a huge shower. The lobby has snacks, vending machine and water dispenser. The bed is super comfortable with quality quilts and pillows. Would book again

I am visiting my mom in Taiwan and decided to spend a couple of nights in Kaohsiung. I will be quite honest. I didn't have a lot of expectations staying at a Holiday Inn Express. But the stay exceeded my expectations. I took the MRT and the station is less than 5 minutes walk to the hotel. The check in process was smooth. I was offered a drink (I picked soda!) at check in for being a Platinum member. A very nice gesture. My room is small, but most rooms in Asia seem small to me coming from the US. It has a tiny view of the river and the park. You can tell the hotel is pretty new. I work a lot in my room wherever I am traveling in the world. This modern room provides all the necessary electric outlets for me to plug whatever I need in. This is important to me as well as good working wifi, which this property provides. Oh! They also gave me a basket of snacks and drinks! That was a very pleasant surprise! The breakfast selection is somewhat limited but sufficient whether you are into ********* or Western breakfast. I don't travel to Taiwan often, so whenever I can have ********* breakfast, that's what I eat! They even have a noodle station, but unlike most other Asian hotels I stayed at, it is a self-serve Noodle station. I don't trust myself enough to make one. I wonder if it is possible for the hotel to allocate a staff person to work the station. The service at the breakfast buffet was great! They offered to make me drinks. I took the opportunity to order some iced latte. I almost gave this place a 5-star, but there are a couple of things needed work: 1) I could never get the shower head aligned to face me directly while standing in the middle of the shower. 2) The water pressure in the sink is really low when it is on cold. If I turned it away from cold, the pressure is fine. But I don't always want warm or hot water. 3) This one is more of a personal suggestion. I wish this place had a gym/workout room. That's another thing I look for when I travel. Not sure if there is anything they can do. But just thought I would throw it out there. I read some unnecessary harsh reviews (like one earlier where the worker had trouble finding their reservation), but my experience tells me the staff tries their best to make your stay enjoyable. I am sorry I couldn't quite give this hotel a 5-star, but I will definitely stay here again in the future when I am in Kaohsiung!
