Great breakfast. Room 490 was great for a single person. I'll be back.

The room is very clean, with three single beds. Although it only has shower gel (no shampoo, no slippers, no kettle, and hair dryer), it is super close to the train station (Kassel Hbf). The front desk is very friendly and the check-in is smooth. Just show your passport. If you don't book breakfast in the morning, there will be free coffee and tea in the lobby from 7:15-9:00 AM. I drank two cups and it was not bad. There is a REWE supermarket nearby (where you can return plastic bottles and have freshly baked bread). A little further away, there is a restaurant called Kebab. It is open late and is very cost-effective. It only has half a roast chicken with salad, rice or chips. 7 euros!

It was close to Kassel hbf station, so it was convenient to use it as a base to get to various places in the surrounding area by train as well as within the city. The hotel and rooms were clean.
