Location is amazing in Thamel, super easy to walk around for food and many things Staff at front desk was very friendly and helpful And there is a cocktail coupon every day Only breakfast was too late because my schedule to leave at 9 am but it was ready at 8.30 am and two days in a row. Overall it is very nice hotel to stay when you go to Kathmandu

Nice and cute

All the hotel staffs here are very nice and careful everyday! They gave me a chance to have Nepalese traditional liquor and served packed breakfast even my departure time is just before the time to start breakfast hour. Thank you for everything to support my stay.

Even though I wouldn’t wholeheartedly recommend the Thamel area, this hotel is a very nice place to stay. I mean compared to the rest of the district. It’s well maintained, clean, the staff is awesome.

Just book the room without the breakfast or else it would ruin your experience. Excellent location. Friendly staff. Modern chic room with Comfy bed.

Disappointing experience for a hotel of this category Comment: Our experience was not what we expected. The picnic breakfast was very meager: it only included juice, a muffin, and bread with nothing else. Furthermore, they called us at 2:30 a.m. to ask what flavor of juice we wanted for the picnic, which was completely unacceptable. Room cleaning was done around 5:00 p.m., when it should normally be done in the morning while guests are out. This was quite inconvenient. The half-board option was also unclear: they offered different menus for lunch and dinner, and the staff didn't know which dishes were included. On one occasion, they charged us for dessert at dinner, even though it hadn't been served at lunch the previous day, without any prior notice. We decided not to have dinner on our last night because of the unpleasantness of what had happened. They also didn't apply the 20% room service discount that is due to hotel guests. Finally, a waiter kept the change when we paid in cash. We have no problem leaving a tip, but it's polite to return the change and let the customer decide how much to leave. Overall, there was a lack of organization and attention to detail, something that should be much more carefully considered in accommodations of this caliber.

A very atmospheric hotel. Nice and most importantly clean rooms. It took a long time to resolve the issue of check-in. The employee assured that he did not see the reservation made through Trip.com. As a result, after trying to cancel the reservation, he received a notification again.

the place was really comfortable to me from every aspects. the host team is friendly . they have a club that hosts Karaoke and DJs.. the name Gaas Baas meaning (eat n sleep) matches with the place's character.

Hotel rooms and restaurant are very will decor and neat & clean . Friendly staff thanks to Trishna to early check-in for us . They have parking space for cars also that was very full for thamel location

No doubt,I got a total of 5-star experience at gaas baas . The luxurious accommodations, clubbing and fun surroundings, and friendly attentive staff make it a perfect place for relaxation. Sudip and trishna was very helpful and friendly person who lets us know about hotel facilities like buffet breakfast 😉🍳 and 24 gym and massage chair was best facility.,😉😉😉😉😉😉👏👏👏👏👏🎉🎉

Each moment was delightful at gaas baas hotel I had booked one of the deluxe quadruple room with balcony and deluxe queen room with balcony. Hotel was beautiful with clean and comfortable rooms. Housekeeping was very friendly and compliment me with welcome drinks. Thanks to binita for great hospitality.
