Airport Diana Hotel ★★★
"This is a great option for staying close to the airport. They have a free airport shuttle which we used twice. The staff were very friendly."
Hotel Amaryllis Kathmandu ★★★
"Affordable"
Hotel Nirvana Garden ★★★★
"I would rebook this hotel in a heartbeat. It was situated in the heart of Thamel, which is known as a backpacker district, but it did not have that feel at all. It was very isolated from the main road and was incredibly peaceful and relaxing, just what I needed. It is located within walking distance of some tourist things and easily accessible on a motorbike to get to others. There are a lot of good restaurants offering local cuisine nearby as well which was great. It is the perfect location to destress and unwind in the evening."
Hotel Mums Home ★★★
"Breakfast had choice of menu , kind and helpful staff, decent room could be noisy at times near the window but lower levels compared to what’s expected in Kathmandu"
Hotel Aashraya Home Pvt. Ltd. ★★
"Nice location! Very convenient. Staffs are really friendly and willing to help."
Tibet Boutique Hotel ★★★★
"It was good to stay here. I have stayed at this hotel for almost five days. It was just like a home and staff was like a family. Helping in everything.... Hotel have a spa and restaurant. They dropped me back to airport for free. Breakfast have alot of variety. Hotel manager was good... He explained about all Food items Amd also Shared info about city. Hotel staff helped in finding some saarees and helped in taxi. I was Lil bit sad while leaving kathmandu. Will be back soon... Highly recommended"
Magnificent Hotel ★★★
"Overall, it's a decent budget hotel. The room was a bit worn, and the doors and locks didn't inspire much confidence :). The hotel is set back from a noisy street, which is definitely a plus. There are plenty of cafes and shops nearby. Breakfast might not be ideal for a European palate, but you can find something to eat."
Funky Monkey Hotel Hostel and Apartment with Rooftop Bar ★★★
Kathmandu Boutique Hotel ★★★
"Tucked away in an alley off the bustling main street, this garden hotel offers a peaceful retreat. The front desk staff were helpful and carried my luggage upstairs. Breakfast was included and absolutely delicious. The location is great, just a 10-minute walk from the Palace Square."

Ramada Encore by Wyndham Kathmandu Thamel
"The location was good. The building itself is old, and taxis can't come directly to the entrance, but there are many laundromats and restaurants nearby."
Kathmandu Marriott Hotel
"The hotel boasts an excellent location, modern facilities, and an elegant ambiance, with superb service. The breakfast spread was particularly impressive, and the staff even prepared a special farewell cake and ceremony. My only regret is that all the surfaces in the room were covered in a layer of dust, despite the overall appearance of cleanliness."
Hyatt Centric Soalteemode Kathmandu
"Amazing hotel with great breakfast. We loved the pool. Room was very clean with comfortable bed. And the location is very convenient."
Moxy Kathmandu
"We just spent five amazing nights at Moxy Kathmandu, and honestly, it was such a great stay. The hotel has this cool, stylish vibe, and everything felt super clean — the rooms were really comfy too. But what really made our trip was the service. The front desk, housekeeping, and restaurant staff were all so welcoming and polite, and their genuine, proactive attitude just warmed our hearts. Special shout-out to Kritan from the restaurant — not only does he speak fluent Chinese and English, but his attentive service and friendly smile were definitely one of the highlights of our stay. Can’t recommend this place enough — easily a 10 out of 10."
Hotel Dolmaling - Stay for Cause
"I have stayed at the Dormalin Hotel more than once because there is a small temple there, and it is very close to the Great Stupa. The breakfast is also good, the staff are very friendly and welcoming, and the hotel's bar is also nice. I really like the lemon drinks and freshly squeezed juices there."
Pashupati Boutique Hotel & Spa
"Place look good with perfect staffsss"
Best Western Plus Kathmandu
"We are pleased with the services provided by the hotel during our June 2026 event. We would like to extend our appreciation to Mr. Timilsina, the in-charge, for his prompt responses and excellent coordination throughout the event."
Hotel Shanker-Palatial Heritage Kathmandu
"Good environment"
Hotel Thrive, A Tropical Courtyard
"The hotel is located about a 10-15 minute walk from Thamel, offering a tranquil escape from the bustling city center of Kathmandu. Its beautifully landscaped garden is a particular highlight. A minor drawback is the heavy traffic on the road to central Thamel, making the walk quite tiring. However, even if you don't venture into Thamel, the hotel's F&B offers relatively reasonable prices for the quality, and dining in the garden's outdoor seating area was a particularly impressive experience. It was a shame that the fitness center was under renovation and unavailable. The cleanliness and maintenance of the rooms were exceptional, even by developed country standards. Overall, I would rate this as a very good hotel."
Hotel Tradition & Spa
"The room is small, but it's acceptable."
Jiu Ding Joy Hotel
"Thank you so much for your patient answers and thoughtful arrangements throughout the trip! Whether it was helping me coordinate rooms or providing travel advice, everything was done promptly and considerately. Your service was a real plus and even gave a handmade soap. Great! Looking forward to staying here again."
DOM Himalaya Hotel
" I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The location is great, the service was very good, and the hotel was clean and comfortable. It would definitely be a good place to stay for a longer visit. The only downside is that I found the price a bit expensive, but overall it was a pleasant experience."
Aarya Chaitya Inn
"The entrance was a bit hard to find. The staff were very kind and helpful, which was a big plus! Overall, I think it offers great value for money."
Yeti Cozy Hotel
"fantastic budget hotel in center thamel. staff were lovely and slimly always . hot water and Wi-Fi very strong enough . highly recommendations. Lovely roof top restaurant . very clean hotel. easy access to catch taxi and shopping , bar. little boy subas is so good cook."
Hotel Anuttara, Boudha
"Great location for Buddhist, as it’s 5mins walk to Bhoudanath Stupa kora, and the staff is very helpful. Rooms comes with mini fridge, international plug point with USB jack and a safe deposit box. The rain shower is fantastic too."
