The Wi-Fi is fast, which is important for travelers. The staff are incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely kind; the managers at the front desk truly make you feel at home. The food in the restaurant is delicious, and the breakfasts are hearty. This hotel is excellent for relaxation. I will definitely return and recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy place in Thamel with perfect value for money!"

"I stayed at Hotel Barahi Kathmandu for three nights and had an overall pleasant experience. The hotel is modern, clean, and conveniently located, making it easy to explore the city. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. Special thanks to Nicha for her excellent service and hospitality. The breakfast was good and met expectations, although the menu remained largely the same throughout my stay. A little more variety would be appreciated for guests staying multiple nights. The gym is well-maintained but quite small, and the operating hours are somewhat limited. The swimming pool is attractive, though it offers limited privacy as it is located next to the restaurant area. Due to my late check-in, I was initially assigned a room on the top floor. The room felt smaller and less comfortable than expected, and I experienced issues with the hot and cold water control. Fortunately, the staff proactively offered a room change, and I was later moved to a room on the fourth floor, which was much more spacious, comfortable, and better equipped. The location is one of the hotel’s strongest points, although traffic noise from the nearby intersection can sometimes be noticeable. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and appreciated the staff’s professionalism and willingness to resolve issues. With its convenient location, clean facilities, and excellent service, I would recommend Hotel Barahi Kathmandu."

"The rooms are this hotel are very nice. The location is perfect. The service levels are very high. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. In particular, Monika and Besang in the restaurant, Sita and Binita for the cleaning service, and all the security staff. Overall, our stay here was very good. The breakfast is very good, with a nice variety. If I could suggest some improvements, it would be fresh pastries for breakfast and maybe some alternatives to cows milk such as oat or almond milk. The other thing is, the gym needs a total refresh. I recommend staying here. It is a very good offer overall. Thank you for giving us a pleasant stay."

"This is by far the best hotel on the street. The bed is super wide, perfect for three people as you can combine the beds. The Chinese breakfast was just what we're used to. The room was spacious, clean, and they even provided two large bottles of water. Compared to other hotels in Nepal where the beds are tiny, the beds and pillows here are incredibly comfortable. Taxis drop you off right at the hotel entrance. Highly recommended! The Lanzhou Lamian (hand-pulled noodles) place right outside the hotel is also delicious."

"The room was clean, and there's a Himalaya Java Cafe right across the street, plus plenty of restaurants nearby, making it very convenient for getting around. The housekeeping staff always came promptly when I asked them to clean the room. The air conditioning was very strong, but you can't sit in it for too long or you might catch a cold. This is the same hotel I stayed at last time I was in Kathmandu; see you next time!"
