Hilton Appleton Paper Valley

rooms have been updated and are fine. like most hotels rooms there isn't enough lighting in the room. No parking at this hotel so you have to park in the city garage connected to the building. only $6 for overnight parking

We checked in late and noticed the room freezing cold, turned the thermostat up but still an hour later, not much change. I finally called front desk, which they sent someone to fix it. It helped but still took another hour or so to warm up more, but not working correctly. No one asked if we should change rooms or any comps for the time we spend freezing in the room and just wanted to go to bed.

It is a convenient location. Parking was easy. The front desk was very friendly and helpful. The toilet ran, the bathroom fan was ridiculously loud, as was the heat. Street noise was audible.

The only thing I have to complain about this property is the mattress, way too firm. Felt like we were sleeping on a concrete surface without any padding which is horrible if you have fibromyalgia.

Nice facility and great breakfast. Little bit of a funky smell, changing rooms did not help. Suspect an issue with HVAC.

Our hotel was wonderful clean easy check-in. Unfortunately the restaurant Lombardi they have on their facility is absolutely horrible. Wouldn’t recommend that place to anyone. Thank you.

I thought it was a pretty nice place to stay, other than the housekeeping never came back and brought us towels that we asked them for, The rooms were very warm and it would not cool down so it was hard to sleep and the beds were so hard. I had to go get fans just to sleep. I paid for 2 nights but left the next day as I couldn’t sleep on that room again, I told the receptionist about it and they didn’t do anything, Don’t think I will be staying again.

Nice stay. Huge place! Went for a music event and it was great. Lots of food options in and around the hotel. Comfy beds, clean rooms, friendly staff. Right in downtown Appleton so you can walk anywhere to shops, dining, etc.

Wasn't able to get reception on the TV, contacted front desk and was told they would look into it but never followed thru.
