"The room was spotless, and the balcony glass was sparkling clean. I especially appreciated the two-layer balcony door, which included a screen door. Even the disposable shower cap had a hair tie inside – such thoughtful details that made me feel so comfortable and pleasantly surprised. My long-awaited 'true-to-life' fishing experience didn't happen because I got my period on the morning we arrived at Longji. The owner said I'd need to go barefoot for fishing, and since it wasn't a warm day at all, I just didn't have the courage to get into the water barefoot. I almost cried! We had dinner, and the next day's breakfast and lunch at the guesthouse. I strongly recommend that anyone staying here avoids eating at the Jinkeng Dazhai car park – the food here at the guesthouse is absolutely delicious!!! We also had an extra person join us unexpectedly, and the owner didn't charge extra for their breakfast. The owners (I assume it's a couple) and the staff were all incredibly kind and helpful, even offering directions proactively. All in all, it was absolutely wonderful!"

"This place is probably as deep into Longji as you can get. We arrived on a rainy day, and the mountain paths were muddy and difficult to navigate. Luckily, the owner was incredibly helpful and even drove us up and down the steepest, most challenging part of the trail – really appreciate that! Our room had a tatami mat and floor-to-ceiling windows that looked directly onto the terraced fields. It was a shame it was so foggy and cloudy, I could only imagine the view."

"I would like to take some time to make a comment on this hotel. Indeed, if you want to visit Dazhai, for your own pleasure, please be sure to take a room in Qingshan N°1 Longji Courtyard hotel. The service is perfect. They have their own driver who comes pick you up at Dazhai parking. They take your luggage directly in your room. The personnel are so nice and smiling. There is a driver who takes you to the cable car or drive you to the nearest spot for hoking. They also propose a laundry service. They take your clothes, wash them then dry them. Let's talk about the room. They are beautiful. Very good bed, new equipment, intelligent toilet. New technology hair dryer. The view is also astonishing on the rice fields. Breakfast is fresh and delicious as well as the dîner. If you want to enjoy your visit in Longji rice field, you must stay here."

"The room was spacious, bright, clean, and comfortable. The balcony offered a beautiful, expansive view of the terraced fields. Breakfast was included, and we just needed to arrange lunch and dinner with the owner. They also provided shuttle service up and down the mountain, which was incredibly convenient. The service was warm and attentive. I had to go up and down the mountain several times for personal matters, and the owner was always very enthusiastic about driving me and offering assistance. Truly commendable!"

"Excellent location , in the Dazhai village center, easy 7 minute walk to the Dazhai parking lot for the cable car and the local buses to Ping'an and long hair show village (forgot the name). You can also walk to three observation platforms from the foothill to hilltop. Room: spacious, clean, with all the amenities as described. Hosts: a young couple with kids and mother, nice, welcoming people. Although they do not speak English, you can easily communicate via WeChat. They helped me with booking a bus to Guilin. The hotel is recommended for nice views and local village experience. I would like to have a menu, as well as a sketch map of the area with observation platforms, villages, hiking routes in English. Information on local events and local but routes/ schedules would also be helpful for non-Chinese tourists."

"This is hands down the best homestay I've ever experienced! The hosts (the owner and his wife) are incredibly kind and welcoming. My suitcase had become exceptionally heavy after several days of travel and shopping. Without a moment's hesitation, even in the pouring rain, the owner single-handedly carried it up multiple flights of stairs. I was deeply touched by his incredible effort; it was genuinely hard work. Dinner was a heartwarming experience, shared with their entire family, and their children were absolutely adorable. The hosts are genuine, hardworking individuals from an ethnic minority group, dedicated to running their homestay with integrity and care. No matter what needs or concerns arose during my stay, the hosts enthusiastically went above and beyond to assist, genuinely caring for every guest. This is something I experienced firsthand. Finding such a wonderful place and meeting such kind-hearted people is truly a lucky and heartwarming part of any journey. This review reflects my honest opinion; if you're reading it, you can book this place without a second thought. The scenery, needless to say, is absolutely stunning, and the location is equally superb. So, when comparing similar value for money, I chose an environment that offered more warmth and positive energy. Encountering such fortunate and heartwarming people and experiences during a tiring journey truly re-energizes us, empowering us to face life with renewed strength and diligence. I believe this is precisely the meaning of why we embark on journeys! I am just an ordinary traveler, and I wrote this review purely out of gratitude for the profound kindness and genuine sincerity I encountered. I generally rarely write reviews. "The location is very good, right in the Zhuangjie parking lot. There is a large parking space at the door and it is free. I walked to observation decks No. 2 and No. 1 from the hotel, but you can also drive there. The scenery is good, the balcony is large, and you can see the No. 2 observation deck from the balcony. The rice noodles for breakfast are delicious, and the dishes I ordered for dinner are also good. They are not expensive and the portions are very substantial."

I slowed down and enjoyed the scenery. The style is very fitting for the name of the hotel. It is an elegant and carefree place. There are tatami mats that the children love, fishing in the rice fields, ethnic costumes, delicious young chicken, and rice wine that they can't drink enough. The owner even picked wild cabbage for the children. Overall, it was a wonderful experience here."
