This hotel is incredibly beautiful - beautiful nature, convenience and comfort, privacy. To fully experience the atmosphere, it is best to take a large Deluxe room with a panoramic floor-to-ceiling window and a balcony. The views of the mountains and river are stunning, especially at sunset. We lived here for 12 days and didn’t want to leave, and of course, we definitely want to come back. - Food - the most beautiful breakfasts of my life, when the transparent waves of the morning surf almost touch your table. And of course very tasty! There are scrambled eggs and an omelet, several types of muesli and cereal, two types of bread, pancakes, yogurt, watermelon, papaya, pineapples, two meat dishes with vegetables (usually chicken and pork, sometimes beef), a potato dish, two types of rice, noodles, hot bacon and sausage, cold cheese and sausage, two types of soup, fresh vegetables - cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, bell peppers, lettuce, olives. And of course delicious coffee from the machine! There is also a happy hour from 16 to 18, when you can buy two cocktails for the price of one and enjoy the sunset. Dinners are also very tasty (the price is high, as on the whole island by the sea, if you want half the price, there are plenty of places on the side of the road) - The area is very large and, in comparison with the rest of the island, very well-groomed, especially in the beach area with the villas. They transport you along it and to the store using hotel cars without any problems, you don’t have to wait much, but it’s better to take a bike and ride around the entire island yourself. - The Deluxe room is very beautiful and stylish, the furniture is quite new, but in some places it has already been damaged by sloppy people. Huge bathroom, very comfortable. The bed is soft and comfortable. - Cleaning and change of towels every day. Change the bed every few days. The bed linen smells very nice. - Water - 2 bottles of 0.5 liters per room. This is not enough for the daily consumption rate and you need to buy your own water. But since the hotel transports you to the store, this is not a problem. - The Internet is rather weak for work and often cuts out. For relaxation - not needed at all. Here you want to enjoy nature and the sea. - Beaches - there are several within walking distance. Their depth depends on the tide; it is better to look at the tide chart. And beauty depends on the direction of the wind. In the calm there is very beautiful and clean water on all nearby beaches. But the most beautiful beach is Long Beach in the eastern part of the island; from the hotel it takes about 1 hour to get there by bike. And it’s better in the morning; there are practically no people there until 10 am.

There are different reviews about this hotel because they have different houses (bungalows). The general infrastructure and service are good - good breakfasts, swimming pools, clean beach and convenient location of the hotel. There is a large free parking lot and a restaurant with tables by the sea. The area is beautifully decorated. But there is nothing good in the budget bungalows themselves (perhaps it’s somehow different in the expensive ones). There is very little space, there is nowhere to even place things. Everything is very old, dirty including sheets, plumbing and more. The walls are so dirty that they need to be repainted instead of washed. There is mold on the bottom corners of the doors and walls. Even on a sunny day, you will use thick curtains and turn on the lights because neighbors are walking in front of the panoramic windows. Until they put up a sign about the need to clean the room, it was not cleaned and even the garbage was not thrown out of the room in a couple of days (I’m just keeping quiet about changing sheets and towels). The locations of the houses are different, our house was on the extreme line to the road and the noise of cars could be heard, there are houses closer to the beach, depending on your luck (6 rows of houses). To be fair, the noise from the road is small and did not disturb our sleep, but for some it may be bad. The good things about the houses are that there is always hot water, little noise from neighbors, the air conditioning worked fine, there is a refrigerator (no kettle, no hairdryer). In general, you can stay for a couple of nights, but it will not be a heavenly holiday in a bungalow.

Klong Prao Beach
We loved the pool and the beach was nice. People were nice and polite, the resort was very green and felt very tropical, with many palm trees. Amazing sunsets can be enjoyed from the beach, pool and the bar! On the con side, the food wasn’t great - e.g. undercooked red chicken, too sweet mango rice cake etc. Surprisingly bad food for Thailand. Breakfast was slightly better. Room cleaners didn’t really clean bathtubs, nor replace stuff provided for free in the toilet, collect dirty plates from the room. AC was the central one - pretty loud, and those sensitive wouldn’t find the bed or pillows comfortable. Overall, it was OK, but I wouldn’t go back.

We stayed with 4 people in one of the 4 people houses (Family bungalow with sea view). They are nice if you want the feeling of your ”own place”. They are located to the left when going down the road and facing the reception building, while everything else is to the right side. That gives some privacy, which is nice. The 4 person buildings are made of wood, and it seems they have been painted white recently. The location is nice. It is between two of the main beaches, so you need some kind of transport if you like to visit the island. During the day, taxis are available. The road is not for beginner scooter drivers, take that into account. Let's summarize what we liked and what not. This takes into account the rather high price of 3600 THB per day. The good: + Nice location in the jungle, far away from any party noise. For a chill experience, this is the place. + Friendly staff, taking care of the customers. Good English skills. Professional use of handheld radios to get stuff done quickly. + Attentive service in the restaurant + Small, but good breakfast in relaxed atmosphere. + Modern and clean AirCon units. Two units in the room (one downstairs, one for upstairs) gives options if you like it cool, but do not like to have cold air blowing in your face. + Nice beach. Yes, there are some rocks, but that is nature. The bad: + Wi-Fi is a hit/miss, with access points on poles facing the houses. 2.4 / 5 Ghz provided, but not enough APs, so signal strength often worse than -80dBm, which is not sufficient. + Construction rubble scattered around the premises. This includes sharp stuff on the walking ways, and leftover paint on the grass. This could be removed easily. The ugly: + No Earth Leakage Circuit Breakers (ELB / RCCB). Even with them not mandatory in Thailand, for 3600 THB a day, the electric setup should include these. The water heater did include a build in ELB, but the fuse box did not. In a luxury resort, this should be standard, considering the wet climate Considering the rather high price, we would give this 3 out of 5 points. This can easily be a 5 points resort, the negative stuff can be easily changed. We will be back next year, and will update the review then.

Lonely Beach / Bai Lan Bay
We booked 6 nights in this hotel. A little by chance. A room with bathroom and above all view of the sea. (S204) The room is very large. A clean and comfortable king size bed. Clim, boiler and mini fridge. The bathroom with shower, bathroom and washing machine. All is clean, probably recently refurbished. The big more is the view! The sunbed view from the balcony is beautiful. A small negative point, the simple glass, which lets not hearing the noise of the outside. But if you have a light sleep, think to take your earlocks. The room is never completely in the dark. But it hasn't bothered us. The hotel is a very good hotel, and it is a good hotel, a good hotel, a good hotel, a good hotel, a good hotel, a good restaurant, a good restaurant, a good restaurant, a good restaurant, a good restaurant, a good restaurant, a good restaurant, a good restaurant, a good restaurant, a good restaurant, a good restaurant, a good restaurant, a good restaurant, a good restaurant, a good restaurant, a good restaurant, a good restaurant, a good restaurant, a good restaurant, a good restaurant, a good restaurant, a good restaurant, a good restaurant, a good restaurant, a good restaurant, a good restaurant, a They are laughing and patient. The meals served in the restaurant are very correct. And the price is reasonable for the island. The included breakfast is complete. Pancake, sauces, eggs, fruit, rice... The swimming pool is very clean, there are many transactions. The hotel is in the centre of the city, and the hotel is in the centre of the city. This part of the island is quiet and everything is accessible to scooter.

We had a fantastic experience during our recent stay. Service is excellent and everyone was very attentive. The hotel is stunning, rooms are very comfortable. There is a real tranquil feel here, it’s so relaxing. Breakfast is delicious, served all day, you order from a menu rather than buffet style which I think works really well. Location is excellent close to lots of bars and restaurants. I would definitely recommend staying here.
