Serenity resort Amazing hotel - would highly recommend staying here. We stayed at serenity resort for 2 nights on arriving at Koh Chang from Bangkok. The location is so so idyllic and relaxing, absolutely beautiful. We also stayed on the west side of the island for a couple of nights and while it is quieter on the east side of the island (ie, there is no point in leaving the resort in the evening as there is nothing really to do on the east side after dark) this is exactly what we were after. The staff could not be more helpful and accommodating. Food and drinks at the restaurant were great and reasonably priced. Very clean and comfortable accommodation. Lovely view. As other reviews have said, if you are staying here you will likely want your own transport so you can explore. We rented a moped from the resort at a very reasonable price. If you want to rent a car make sure you have an intl driving permit (takes a few mins to obtain but must do whilst in the UK). There’s barely any traffic on this side of the island so the drive down to long beach at the south of the island felt very safe on a moped despite the hills (and would be the same in a car). The resort staff recommended us to do this and then get kayaks over to Koh ngam, which we did and was a great experience! The other option is to rent a taxi for a day (we were quoted c2500 baht for 6 hours) and they can drop you wherever you like and wait for you. Thanks again for a lovely stay at serenity resort!!

A Tropical Paradise with World-Class Service! We recently stayed at The Aiyapura, and it was hands-down one of the best resort experiences we’ve had. From the moment we arrived, the staff was amazing—always attentive, smiling, and ready to help with a ”can-do” attitude. The resort itself is absolutely beautiful and sits right on the beach, offering stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere. A few highlights from our stay: • Dining: The food was delicious! Every meal exceeded our expectations. • Amenities: Everything was top-notch and well-maintained. • Logistics: Their shuttle service is the best—super convenient and always on time. If you are looking for a perfect getaway with great vibes and excellent service, this is the place to be. Highly recommended!

Excellent hotel, perfect for both families and couples. The breakfasts are superb with something for everyone. Rooms are cleaned daily. There are shops and massage parlors nearby. To get to the beach, you just need to cross the road, and there's even a traffic controller to help you with that. The hotel's water park is also fantastic. Overall, cleanliness and order are well-maintained. We'd definitely return if we have the chance.

Super nice Room. It was clean and really spacious! The staff there is friendly. Our car batterie died and one guy from the staff helped us immediately and wanted to jump start our car. BUT one other guy stopped him so he can sell us a used old battery for 3000baht that died the next day as well... Hotel is nice, just that one guy had only money in his mind haha. Besides that everybody is super friendly. There is a hotel wide free shuttle (only inside the resort). In-house Restaurant for dinner is pricey. I would recommend to try local, cheaper food outside. I booked two floors in two different villas. They contacted me in advance and warned me that one of them would be replaced, as the previous guests wanted to extend their stay. They upgraded my room to a larger apartment with a sea view, which I absolutely loved. This was my first time at Koh Chang, so I give the experience a 5++. A personal, generous KHRAPP to Uncle Seryozha and his son Vladislav, and excellent, responsive service on site. The second room also lived up to all expectations, both in location and service. We were initially skeptical about the breakfasts at 500 baht per person, but ultimately decided they were definitely worth it. A good buffet, organic coffee, and pastries. There's also a small cafe nearby. We tried it—the food was good, but the administrator said that every table was often reserved (and obviously not fully occupied, giving the impression that either the adjacent villas were prioritized or that the staff were reluctant to open). The grounds are gigantic, apparently encompassing several different resorts. It would be difficult to navigate these wonderfully landscaped grounds without a moped. The service staff helped us with this, and after check-in, they brought the scooter right to our rooms. The beaches and beach bars (Shambala in particular) with their pools were absolutely delightful. Having driven around the island, I can say that one of the best beaches was right next to my room. I'm posting views from the beach opposite Apartment 1128. I don't have any photos of the accommodations, only videos, so I'll try to cut them up and upload them later.

The hotel is a beautiful experience, it is practically a boutique hotel on the beach. We took a private room with a terrace (some rooms have a shared terrace between two units). The room is beautiful, the air conditioning works well, the bed is very comfortable and the bathroom is crazy! Cleaning is excellent, both in the room and in the common areas. Breakfast is fantastic, tasty and varied, staff is exquisite and very careful. The swimming pool is very beautiful and has a view of the stripful beach. We had to stay only three nights but we were so good that we extended our stay for a week, I would return tomorrow!

Отдыхали в начале сентября. Приехали на 3 дня что бы отметить день рождения. Нам все очень понравилось. Все как мы и хотели: комфортно, красиво, уединенно. Наше бунгало выходило на море, у нас были свои шезлонги. Большой общий бассейн при отеле, с удовольствием там плавали. В море мы не плаваем, но гуляли по берегу утром и вечером. Завтраки отличные. Рядом находятся виллы разного размера, которые можно арендовать. Отель находится недалеко от пирса, что тоже плюс, не нужно ездить по серпантину

The location is excellent. The breakfast selection isn't huge, but everything is delicious, and they have coffee machines. There's some renovation going on, but it didn't bother us. The only major issue is that there are hardly any free sun loungers for hotel guests. The few they have offer little to no shade, and there are even fewer umbrellas than loungers. Conveniently, though, by the small pool near the beach, you can rent very comfortable loungers for 1000 baht a day. And the basic ones by the main pool (about 14 of them) cost 500 baht a day. So, hotel guests essentially have to pay for sunbeds, which is a huge drawback. Everything else was good.

The hotel did not include breakfast, the hotel looked very stylish, the room was okay, the location was good, there was a lot of food around, but the hotel room had mold and odor, and there was a serious mold odor when we entered the room. It's the same for both rooms, and then requesting another room is the same. The order cannot be cancelled, so it can only be sent for one night.
