3-Star Hotels in Koh Chang

This hotel has a partial beach view. To the right of the photo is a boat marina with no clear organization and walking to the right along the beach is not possible. It (2025 fall) was also under some serious construction. Be careful on the beaches here! 2 people stepped on broken glass nearby and the staff didn’t really offer any extra help. Plus side: elephants! They walked by at least twice a day to cool off and swim.

Very good would highly recommend, checked in early with really nice service. Room was a 30 seconds away from beach perfect location with a bike hire service they provide as well. They also have 2 pools which we never tired but was quite big and that also have a restaurant attached where you get breakfast from, the food was okay would recommend other places but okay for the breakfast and if you want the convenience. The room it self was basic but nice quite a few ants in the bathroom especially in the evenings but hard to stop that on the island and also a bit of dust in a few areas but apart from that very clean.

This hotel is situated over the water with stilts, which I loved. Its unique appearance, with all its natural wood flooring and decks adds to its charm and feel of the fishing community. It’s a terrific place to stay for some great Thai Seafood! The VIP rooms are recommended as they are spacious and have a lovely outside space to relax over looking the water. They also have plenty of windows and natural lighting. These rooms are very comfortable. It has a restaurant attached to it, also over the water on stilts, which serves fantastic, fresh sea food dishes! My favorite meals was the barracuda with sweet and sour sauce and the calamari. They are good sized meals and their fresh juices are also perfect for the heat! Aoys farm bakery and cafe is also very close by. If you go to your left of the entrance to this hotel you will see the sign for her cafe and bakery. Aoy makes the most delicious cakes that are supplied to many hotels and businesses on the island! Highly recommend going to see her charming cafe and bakery! It’s a short walk and great for fantastic breakfasts and fresh juices or warm drinks, if you don’t want sea food at the resort, go there! The pool is lovely, as the water below the hotel is not clean and we did not want to swim in it. There are other beach locations for swimming. You can hire a fishing rod and do some DIY fishing, or pay for fishing half or full day trips, hire bikes, and kayaks. I was satisfied with this location and would certainly consider staying there again for a night or two!

The location of the hotel in general is not bad, but it is better to take hotels further towards the mountain, they have their own beach at high tide, there are steps right there and the sea beats on them... in general this did not interfere. Sunbathe on the sun loungers by the pool, or pull them onto the sand when the tide is low. The building is closed from the road by another building so no noise can be heard. What I didn’t like and the hotel needs to change, it’s honestly a shame. 1. Wi-Fi, which kind of catches, then the Internet just doesn’t work, it’s either no or it’s constantly lost, in the rooms (in the main building opposite), there was a signal, but it didn’t work, on the balcony it looked like it was catching something , not much better. Somehow I worked at their cafe, well, the signal was good, but the Internet almost didn’t work either, connections were constantly being lost. Honestly, this is a shame for the hotel, get normal internet. There was a screwed-up Wi-Fi at the hotel cafe, we took the password, we thought it would be better, but no, it’s about the same... 2. the cost in the cafe, the price tags are simply not adequate (25-30% more expensive), the cafes next door to the more “chic” hotels were no different from the cafes along the road, and we ended up having dinner there often. 3. further incorrect information on Trip says that there is a buffet, that’s why I chose it, but in fact “breakfast is on the menu, with a very limited choice of 5-6 items”, the best thing was an American breakfast of one type, despite the fact that the hotel next door had the same breakfast, 5 types of American. 4. Trip writes that there are safes, in fact there are no safes, or they may be in some rooms, but why write there are if there may not be any? We checked in quickly. They didn’t take a deposit (although at the reception it was written that they do take it). At first they didn’t give us coupons for breakfast, when we asked how to have breakfast they said you had a reservation without breakfast included, we were indignant, the girl checked, saw what happened with breakfast, and gave us coupons. There were 6 days, the rooms are not cleaned unless you ask (towels are changed if they need to be replaced), in general this did not bother us, since we did not litter. Water and toilet paper (well done, at Kokuda they rested in the toilet almost at 0 and then they just added it) were left at the door every day. There was a kettle, but tea/coffee was only available on the day of check-in, new ones were not added. The location of the hotel relative to interesting places is not bad, at the exit there is a kiosk for shakes, on the beach on the right there was a cafe with cocktails all for 100 baht (not bad at all). Along the street there are cafes and massage parlors with normal prices. I rented bikes to the right after 200-300 meters (they didn’t want to haggle on the price against the hotel), it was possible at the hotel, the price was the same as everyone else’s. With Wi-Fi, of course, there was a terrible setup, to come on vacation to run around either the hotel or the cafe in search of normal Wi-Fi... as a result, the hotel next door through the wall (a little further from the bamubu) was with open access, it just flew, no brakes 100 Mbit interruptions!!! Lucky were those who lived with this hotel, it clearly broke through the wall, but it didn’t break through to our room anymore.

Given a beautiful plant with very beautiful garden, unfortunately everything in repair-being condition, it could be a top plant if you invest some work ...such as. Sleep rooms or not put together furniture but renew or supplement suitably ... all small things but many for it. The staff is super and breakfast is sufficient and good.

Very good resort!  Good location: in that the resort is on White Sand Beach (the north end) however, isn't located & doesn't have access to the main town (where shops & restaurants are).  So, there is a VERY steep road entering & leaving the resort.   Nice little beach front room.  15 meters from the ocean water.  Great view. Great sunset. Good facilities: restaurant / breakfast / menu  Staff are extremely hospitable and friendly.  Will help you rent a bike.  Definitely recommend a massage on the beach.  Very relaxing!

Amazing staff who did all they could to correct any issues. Nice clean room with fridge and kettle etc. Housekeeping were fantastic. Great beachfront location, nice pool, nice restaurant and comfort bed in the heart of town but not loud at night at all, ideal for those wanting to be in town but not party too hard

Good accommodation, good peace, next to the sea, clear water, delicious breakfast The owner of the service is very good.

The accommodation is very simple and in places very run down, the cleanliness is acceptable. Despite this, I was able to sleep here without any problems and for the price you can't really get upset about unnecessary little things. Accordingly, I would recommend it to people who are not looking for extraordinary luxury, but are simply looking for cheap, passable accommodation.

This hotel is situated on the rocky part of the white sand beach. In my opinion the room needs to be upgraded beginning with a very poor lightning. Those white LCD lamps are terrible for the eyes at night. The mattress is also quite old and the mosquito net door is not closing properly. Breakfast is not available, so one has to go outside to the nearest restaurant. It's not a big issue, but it would be lovely for a hotel to provide the service. And be aware that at night one can hear bar music until 2:00 am. But other than that, it's quite suitable for staying for a while.
