Amazing
AArron Dhaliwal SinghSerenity resort Amazing hotel - would highly recommend staying here. We stayed at serenity resort for 2 nights on arriving at Koh Chang from Bangkok. The location is so so idyllic and relaxing, absolutely beautiful. We also stayed on the west side of the island for a couple of nights and while it is quieter on the east side of the island (ie, there is no point in leaving the resort in the evening as there is nothing really to do on the east side after dark) this is exactly what we were after. The staff could not be more helpful and accommodating. Food and drinks at the restaurant were great and reasonably priced. Very clean and comfortable accommodation. Lovely view. As other reviews have said, if you are staying here you will likely want your own transport so you can explore. We rented a moped from the resort at a very reasonable price. If you want to rent a car make sure you have an intl driving permit (takes a few mins to obtain but must do whilst in the UK). There’s barely any traffic on this side of the island so the drive down to long beach at the south of the island felt very safe on a moped despite the hills (and would be the same in a car). The resort staff recommended us to do this and then get kayaks over to Koh ngam, which we did and was a great experience! The other option is to rent a taxi for a day (we were quoted c2500 baht for 6 hours) and they can drop you wherever you like and wait for you. Thanks again for a lovely stay at serenity resort!!

Amazing
DDomingo’sI don't understand why this hotel has so many good reviews, but I want to write honestly, as someone who has worked in tourism for 20 years and seen a lot. The hotel definitely doesn't live up to its category. The biggest downsides are: there's no sea, the tide is very low every day, so you definitely can't swim here, and the knee-deep water that comes in in the afternoon smells like fish, and even while you're sitting at breakfast, there's a very unpleasant fish smell. But if you want, there's a shuttle that takes you to a good beach several times a day. The pool is dirty with green water; I was snorkeling, and there were tons of hair and sand at the bottom. The water doesn't circulate. In the morning, they pour two buckets of chlorine to disinfect the pool, and then it turns blue for a short while. The hotel rooms are large and comfortable, but tired. The tiles and plumbing need replacing. There were a lot of ants and cockroaches in the room. When we reported them, a worker came to exterminate them and treat them with ant repellent. On the plus side, the room has a large TV with YouTube access, a refrigerator, a tea station, a comfortable bed, and daily cleaning and towel changes. Peacocks roam the grounds (but that's not the main reason to come here). Breakfast is modest; there's a coffee machine with real coffee, pancakes, omelets like everywhere else, sausages and ham, and fruit. There were no yogurts or cheeses, and the juices were watered down. A lot of the equipment in the gym is broken. It depends on your preference, but for me, the sea and pool are key features in a place like this, so I wouldn't go back. There are plenty of cheaper and better options on the coast.

Amazing
MMegan NapakDinso Resort & Villas Koh Chang is seriously one of the most complete luxury resorts I’ve stayed at in Thailand The whole resort has this peaceful luxury vibe surrounded by nature, but at the same time it offers everything you could ask for wellness, entertainment, amazing food, gym, spa, beach club, huge swimming pool, activities, and true 5-star service. The design of the hotel is luxury modern tropical style with lots of greenery that makes the whole place feel relaxing and exclusive. The rooms are spacious, stylish, and super comfortable. Perfect place to slow down and enjoy island life. One thing I really love is that you never get bored staying here. You can spend the whole day at the resort workout at the fully equipped gym, relax at the spa, chill by the pool, enjoy sunset at the beach club, or just enjoy the peaceful atmosphere around the property. And the breakfast is amazing. It one of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve had. Huge variety, great quality, fresh coffee, Thai food, international options everything was so good. The staff were also amazing. Super friendly, attentive, and genuinely made the stay feel special. If you’re looking for a luxury resort in Koh Chang that gives both relaxation and lifestyle experience, Dinso is 100% worth it 100%

AAnton DbrIf you like beautiful nature, clean well-groomed sandy beach (and not like on white sand), human attitude, you are here. The price/quality ratio is simply amazing! Private beach, next to a good restaurant on the seashore. In general, there is a good increase in depth in the sea. Nice massage parlor with amazing view. English speaking staff, which is rare. Bottled water every day and little amenities. Good internet connection even on the beach. Of the minuses, perhaps too far away from the party places, but that's the beauty of it. The absence of a kettle and a refrigerator in the cottage, and the obligatory presence of a motorbike, as it is out of the way. I recommend the most.

GGuest UserNice room and decent hotel. Breakfast looks better than it tastes. The warm daily dishes are disappointing and there is absence of good Thai food. The bread, deli meat, cheeses, bread and salad choices are fine. Eggs and waffles are made to order and they are fine. Restaurant is not air conditioned and has small fans which add very little ventilation. Had issues twice with air conditioning and tub. Maid kept room very clean and made towels into pretty shapes along with flowers on bed. Made mistake of coming in May and it was miserably hot and most chairs are not shielded from the sun. The beach although beautiful is very narrow and filled with large rocks and coral so not good for walking or swimming. Had to walk down beach to find a better beach area but it lacked shade. If you can get the room without the 300 baht each normal charge I would suggest it. We had one day nearby in a cheaper hotel because we arrived late. Problem we had in May is there very few breakfast choices near either hotel. Very few street food vendors and mainly overpriced western food. Took several days to find good Thai food. I would recommend Koh Kood if you are alone. Better beaches and cheaper foods

GGuest UserOverall, the hotel is decent. The location is excellent and the facilities are ok. However, my experience was incredibly frustrating due to the total lack of control in the beach area. The Issue: The ”Towel Mafia” It seems there are people who live at the hotel permanently and take over the beach chairs very early in the morning. By 8:00 AM, all the chairs are empty but ”reserved” with towels. When my girlfriend and I decided to use two chairs that had been unoccupied for over an hour, a man approached us in a very aggressive manner, claiming the chairs belonged to them simply because he had placed a towel there first. Lack of Staff Support The most disappointing part was the hotel's response: • At Reception: They confirmed that chairs cannot be reserved and that we were free to use them. • In Practice: This group of residents continued to disturb and harass us day after day. • Management: Despite being aware of the situation, the hotel staff did absolutely nothing to mediate, enforce the rules, or explain the seating policy to these individuals. It is a shame that a place with such potential allows certain guests to intimidate others, ruining the peace of a vacation. If you are looking for a hotel where rules are respected and everyone is treated fairly, I would look elsewhere.

GGuest UserI recently moved into a new home, but I was constantly bothered by a large number of ants at night. After some research, I tried XX brand's ant repellent spray. After using it, the effect was significant, and the number of ants visibly decreased. This spray is easy to use, doesn't have an irritating smell, and is long-lasting. What I'm most satisfied with is that it not only effectively repels ants but is also safe and harmless to humans. Overall, XX brand ant repellent spray is a highly effective and safe product, and I highly recommend it to anyone else struggling with ants.
