While the location is convenient and close to everything, our stay was completely ruined by a severe lack of security, unsafe conditions, and unprofessional management. Throughout the night, an intoxicated individual was allowed to roam the property unchecked. He actively followed us right up to our room and attempted to enter it. We felt deeply unsafe; it was only after I shouted at him that he finally left, only to continue harassing other guests, shouting at neighbors, and attempting to break into his own room door—causing chaos and tantrums until 7:00 AM. When we reported the incident as soon as it started, the management and staff completely brushed it off and took the matter lightly. Despite having clear photographic and video evidence as well as on-site CCTV cameras, they refused to check the footage and claimed they "saw nothing." The manager on duty was entirely non-reactive, unhelpful, and completely lacked basic professionalism. Given the high nightly rates they charge, the absolute absence of security personnel and accountability is unacceptable. We strongly advise future guests to look elsewhere if safety and peace of mind are priorities.

RAT FECES, BED BUGS, loud music at night, worn out rooms… Never had a worse hotel experience. Staff at the fromt desk was not nice. We checked out after one night. That one night we could hear rat in the wall biting until it bit electricity cable and we were awakened by a flash and short circuit bang. We had our room reluctantly changed to another one just to discover rat feces on the bed. NOPE Truly a nightmare stay…

The rooms had a bit mold in them but overall it was fine. The location is super convenient as it is close to the pier and the city centre.

We are regulars to this island and hotel and are always happy to return. Hotel is aging a bit but the services, staff and location will help you to easily ignore that. The restaurant is decent, not the best of the island but fairly priced and especially beautiful in the evening once the sun goes down. There are regular fire shows at 9pm. The bar and disco area are active every evening, staff are friendly and warm and prices are fair. If you’re taking a family or just want a quiet time with your other half this hotel is perfect for you.

Nice location next to the beach and walking distance to the main beach full of restaurants. Our room was in a second floor with nice balcony and views

Amenities and facilities is limited as it is located in the island. My room hot water not working and water pressure is low. Not strong. Clean and good in average. But good location.

I was truly impressed by the excellent service at this hotel. The staff were attentive, professional, and went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. Their warm hospitality and dedication made the whole experience memorable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for superb service and a welcoming atmosphere.

The Silversand was the perfect stay on Koh Samet. Our garden room was clean and spacious. Towels were provided everyday without asking. I truly enjoyed the breakfast, it was tasty with the best view of the beach. My only shortcoming was the water spout in the shower was not the best, but it didn’t take away from our experience.
