"My most favourite place to stay at Koh Samed. I will stay here in future again. I love the swimming pools, breakfast was delicious, I enjoyed every moment. I stayed for 9 nights. All staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean. Resort is walking distance from the beach, restaurants and shops."

Samed Grandview Resort
8.3 (260 reviews)

Samed Grandview Resort ★★★

📍 95/2 Moo 4 Tumbon Phe, Amphur Muang, Phe Subdistrict, Koh Samet

"Booked Deluxe Grand Executive room for 131e/night for two people for four nights. COULD NOT GET TWO KEY CARDS FOR THE ROOM, RECEPTIONIST REFUSED THE REQUEST FOR SECOND 20 cent PLASTIC KEY!?!?!? NOT NORMAL SERVICE AND NOT PRACTICAL FOR TWO PEOPLE!!! ALSO THE BUILDING HAS NO ELEVATOR!!! Had to climb to third floor with luggages as bell boy was somewhere....also the actual room is in two levels i.e.: entrance and toilet downstairs, bedroom and living room upstairs. Outside balcony shower and bath tub had no privacy as shower is visible to the courtyard. Stayed 4 nights and 2 days water and electricity interruptions. Beach bar Happy Hour doesnt work traditional way: Ordered Kamikaze and Strawberry Margarita and tacos. Drank the first Buy 1 get 1 Free and ate the tacos. Waited for the second drinks for a while but then waitress brings us bill without asking it. Happy Hour had ended and we didnt get our second drinks but got invoiced for only one THB350 cocktail and tacos, so be aware of the Grand View Happy Hour practices and dont miss the ordering window like we did. 🤭 Daily issues with the restaurant card machine, cant pay with a CC. Clean and modern room, but poor service and not practical room with two levels and stairs."

Sawasdee Coco Resort
8.8 (249 reviews)

Sawasdee Coco Resort ★★

📍 95 3, Phe, Mueang Rayong District, Koh Samet

"We stayed for 3 days with family in a house, and overall everything was fine. The hotel is a bit worn out, but it's not a deal-breaker. They have good umbrellas and sun loungers on the beach, though it's unclear why the staff isn't very diligent about cleaning that area. The location is excellent, with everything within walking distance, including a 7/11 about a 7-minute walk away."

Tonsak Resort

Malibu Samed Resort ★★★
"Great location on Vongduan beach. Very spacious , clean bungalows; nice staff; amenitiesare basic but in line with other similar hotels in koh Samet. A reading light would be nice. They explain at check in that room cleaning has to be requested by hanging the sign, you might have to draw the cleaners attention then they will clean the room. Breakfast is ok, mostly Thai options ; a couple of sweets and more choice of fruit would be nice. The only real minus is the rock hard bed, same as sleeping on the floor. They should not allow boats to land at the beach among swimmers, there is a jetty few meters away... better arrange a porter service for those who don't want to carry their bags."

"I don't know what kind of animal it was, but there were constant mooing sounds all night long, like I was sleeping in a zoo. The hotel's Wi-Fi was practically unusable; it would connect and then disconnect on its own. And every time I left and came back, I had to re-enter my username and password to log in again."

"Really nice hotel tucked away in Samet. The bath room was unfortunately full of mosquitoes which meant we couldn’t have a bath and light pollution was really bad on the morning but the bed was comfy and the surrounding were very nice an location is right next to the pier."

"The staff at the front desk were lovely. They spoke politely, gave good recommendations, and were always smiling. The kitchen staff were also very kind and provided excellent service. The hotel has comprehensive facilities, is easy to get to, close to everything, and safe. The hotel also offers motorcycle rentals, which I recommend arranging directly with them for convenience. "Ao this hotel was good and not good at the same time. The night desk manager was confused when we came in with booking through trip.com, they had to call their manager to ask how to deal with us. I had to wait for almost 40mins before we were able to get our room. Then they changed me extra for the 3rd person even though the room included 3 breakfast. But trip.com made it right for me. There was so much mosquito in each room. We have to keep asking them to spray the room. Location for this hotel is great. The beach is beautiful and the head bellboy or Beach boy was very helpful."

"Lovely resort and the rooms are so aesthetically beautiful, the resort is located in main beach, Sai Kaew beach and so convenient that 7-eleven and restaurants are in walking distance. Also very near to Nadan pier as well. Have to give additional 200 bahts if you use bath tap. Overall, good stay here."

"Amazing resort, would loved to have stayed longer to enjoy more of the amenities. Location is awesome, not too crowded but close enough to all the fun and all the relaxing spots in the main pier city. The rooms were soooo clean and even though it is out in the open, I was never worried about any bugs or anything like that. No issues with any weird smells, can’t hear any other rooms. Come here if you want to impress your partner :) mine was very happy about this choice! Overall an amazing experience with plans to come back to this resort in the future."
