Overall, the hotel left a fairly good impression, but there are a few things worth mentioning. The reception staff are very polite, listen to requests and feedback, and try to help. The swimming pool is clean, and you can rent a motorbike directly at the hotel, which is convenient for getting around the island. Renovation work is currently taking place, but it is not particularly disruptive. The breakfast is very basic and is not a buffet — you order from a menu. This may be because it is currently low season and there are very few guests at the hotel. We also had to change our room because the first one we were given was far from ideal. After the room change, things were better. Overall, it is a decent option for a short stay on Koh Samet, but the condition of the rooms upon arrival and the breakfast could definitely use more attention.
