Lovely experience away from the hustle and bustle of Ao Nang but close enough in a cab ride. Plenty of facilities here and options. Swimmable beach across the road unlike AoNang.

Absolutely incredible! We have loved our 7 days at Varana. The service is fantastic everyone is so friendly and helpful. The hotel it self is new, clean and beautiful. The food is delicious 🤤 so so good! We recommend booking tours through the hotel we found it was better quality. Definitely recommend.

Amazing experience and the service was exceptional.

Breakfast- smaller selection than usual five stars but it was high quality.  Activities- so much to do if you’re into fitness! Hyrox, Spartan, HITT, Muay Thai, rock climbing (some have surcharges- need to Check) Service- I found this lacking in terms of front desk service and phone as everything you are asked to dial 0. Maybe it’s the language barrier. Ten step onsen- only available 2 timings/day 11am and 5pm so you really have to plan your time around it which was annoying so we did not end up doing  Late check out- not available! Allowed to use facilities, only open shower available and change at the spa.  Beach club- free use of bean bags for hotel guest. But usage of pool is chargeable with minimum spend (depending where you choose to sit it’s a different price) free activities for hotel guest- kayak, paddle board, padel )  Pool- take note pool not allowed for kids below 12. I found the hotel very stingy with towels. Also lack service. Nobody comes to you to offer menu and ask what you’d like, I had to look high and low for attention.  As you walk out from Varana. there are some restaurant options (6-8 restaurants) very affordable.  Overall, we had a good time but lacked the magic somehow.

Great hotel, modern and focuses on wellness. Close to a beautiful beach and breakfast was fab! About 15 mins from Ao Nang but great to get away from the busy town for a quieter stay

Great place to visit, excellent service, not crowded area - stay for quiet romantic experience

Nice resort , fairly new and equipped with all kinds of wellness activities. The major downside was service at the reception . Staff there are generally cold and not so welcoming . On my day of check- out , I was asked to wait a few minutes while they sent Housekeeping to check my minibar - although I said I’ve no consumption. A few second later , a Caucasian gentleman checkout beside me and I’m still waiting for minibar clearance. No question ask regards to minibar to this Caucasian gentleman. In fact , reception even asked how was his stay , did he clear his safety box , what was his next trip and so on . Mine - none of the above and I left after minibar clearance. I’ve paid a fair bit for a sea view room due to high season . But the service was disappointing including breakfast room

Everything was excellent! The staff, cleanliness, service and the place itself was exceptional. Views are great and high quality food. Highly recommend!

Overall great property and amenities. However, speed of service can be improved a bit as our luggage took forever to get delivered, after waiting for over half an hour, I walked back to the lobby to bring them to my room myself.
