Hotels Near Poda Island in Krabi

Great location. Service is wonderful. Picked up from airport and got transported by boat to the hotel. Stunning sunsets! The one down side is it can get busy with boats and the engines are loud. But would 100% stay here again

Beautiful hotel, close to everything you need. They offer amazing activities and plenty of restaurants/bars/shops are around.  The Staff is super attentive and you’re always greeted with a big smile.

Excellent hotel staff very friendly and professional. They noticed from my passport that the 2nd day was my birthday. When I came up from the pool late afternoon there was a birthday cake in the fridge. Very nice touch and excellent attention to detail. The food was great and breakfast had plenty of choice. Highly recommend.

The service was incredible, the hotel was designed with a lot of stylistic consistency and attention to detail without compromising on comfort. The staff were very kind, helpful, and pleasant to be around. The food in the restaurant and the morning was amazing. I wish I could use other words besides “amazing” for everything, but it is just an accurate description of our (me and my wife’s) experience there. The location is great! Its close enough to key parts of the area, yet intelligently distanced (around 50-100 meters) away from the action so that the noise of everything never disturbed us during days we preferred the quiet. 10/10 on all parameters. Special thanks to the team of the hotel which were the key part of our personal feeling around our stay.

The hotel has a very nice pool with poolside drinks and food service. There are early morning/early evening complimentary yoga and other wellness lessons. There is a child playground and indoor creche (presumably not complimentary). The lobby is up an elevated driveway from the street. To get to your building, there are more outside steps. So, this hotel is not for you if you have limited mobility. Having said that, there is a hotel 'golf cart' available to move you plus your luggage. Then there is the location. There is a wide choice of eating places, some with live music. Ao Nang beach is just 10min walk away. This is where you catch boat trips to the other islands. All in all, the hotel met all my expectations. The world is too big for me to return in the near future. But if i did, I would rebook the Holiday Inn.

I recently stayed at this hotel, and unfortunately, my experience were disappointing. Pros: • The air conditioning was cold enough, which was a plus. • Due to hotel room unavailability, we booked a twin bedroom, but the staff kindly offered to join the beds into a double bed upon our arrival, which we appreciated. Cons: • The bathroom was clogged, and water drained very slowly. When we reported it to the staff, they claimed it was due to an uneven bathroom floor, but this was not the case. • There was absolutely no soundproofing. Everyday from 7-8 AM, loud knocking sounds (as if renovation work was happening) could be heard, along with people opening and closing doors loudly, talking, and walking outside. It was impossible to get a good rest. • The ”Do Not Disturb” button in our room was broken, so we informed the receptionist that we did not need housekeeping for two days. However, despite this, housekeeping still entered and cleaned the room while we were out. • From the online pictures, the hotel appeared to have a beautiful lobby and pool area, but we didn't expect that our room type would be located in a separate building. This building was further from the lobby and pool area, and its overall appearance was not as nice as the main lobby area. Our balcony view was facing a building wall—definitely not what we expected. • The walkway in this separate building was dirty, and the housekeeping tray was always left outside, right next to our room door. Additionally, the staff’s housekeeping room was also right next to our room, which may explain why it was so noisy early in the morning. Overall, I would not recommend staying here if the room is located in the separate building without elevator access. Perhaps the rooms facing the pool and accessible by elevator offer a better experience.

I reserved the deluxe suite, which was an exceptionally spacious and well-appointed accommodation measuring approximately 66 square meters. It was equipped with all the necessary amenities, including a king-size bed and a bathtub. I particularly appreciated the attention to detail shown by the staff in fulfilling my special request to decorate the bed. The two balconies in the room offered breathtaking views, adding to the overall luxurious experience. The staff demonstrated exceptional professionalism and friendliness throughout our stay. The breakfast buffet was extensive and of high quality, while the swimming pool provided ample space for relaxation and enjoyment. I highly recommend this hitel to anyone seeking a memorable and comfortable stay. I intend to return in the future. I express my gratitude to the Deewana Hotel for their outstanding hospitality.

Great hotel for the price. We stayed in February 60.00 CDN a night. Nice cold pool. Great little breakfast with a cappuccino machine, which was delicious. The bed was rock hard, but it seems to be like that everywhere in thailand. We rented scooters from the front desk, which was really convenient. Make sure you take pictures of the scooter before you rent them. The guy tried to say I was in an accident with mine, which wasn't true. I had to show the video I took and then just demanded my 3000 bht back. Overall, good place! Especially for the money.

Good location by Ao Nammao Pier. I took songthaew from Ao Nang. The hotel area is huge with semi-beach /semi-mangrove front. The sea facing pool was also nice. The check in was smooth. I was upgraded to cottage. The room was very nice. Wifi worked well. Highly recommended if you are looking for a quiet and affordable night before or after Railway and Ao Nang.

Nice resort , fairly new and equipped with all kinds of wellness activities. The major downside was service at the reception . Staff there are generally cold and not so welcoming . On my day of check- out , I was asked to wait a few minutes while they sent Housekeeping to check my minibar - although I said I’ve no consumption. A few second later , a Caucasian gentleman checkout beside me and I’m still waiting for minibar clearance. No question ask regards to minibar to this Caucasian gentleman. In fact , reception even asked how was his stay , did he clear his safety box , what was his next trip and so on . Mine - none of the above and I left after minibar clearance. I’ve paid a fair bit for a sea view room due to high season . But the service was disappointing including breakfast room
