We paid 1800 rupees for a day pass to access the facilities. It was explained that this includes use of the shower with shower gel, pool and food. We paid this for 9 of us. When we got to the pool every single lounger was hogged with peoples things and bags many people drying their underwear on there. We asked for towels but the member of staff did not understand and walked off. We asked about the loungers again no response. The pool is not heated and was absolutely freezing and usable. The showers and changing need a lot of attention, they need a very very deep clean, there were no toiletries, no hot water and literally a dribble of water coming out. The true gem is the restaurant the food and service was excellent. They accommodated special dietary requirements too. Was some of the most delicious food we had in India. The grounds and decor are beautiful too. With some tweaks this place could be superb. Paying that much per head just to eat at the restaurant but not be able to shower, sit down or relax or use the pool was slightly obscene.

The hotel need to have a little more professionalism. We checked in to the hotel on saturday 7pm and booking was for 2 days monday morning we requested if extension of 4 hours is possible. Considering the fact that the saturday we checked in late attest 4 hours could have been permitted more over the breakfast was included for two days. They said the breakfast would be available between 7:30 and 8:30. They did not provide it in the stipulated time kindly keep more professionalism

From start to finish every aspect of our stay was brilliant.Food was absolutely amazing and the manager Mr Arun Choudhary ***** with his team were so helpful,cheerful and accommodating.Well done to all the concerned,it was really a great pleasure staying here.Overall the experience was excellent would definitely visit again in future.

A really good, decent stat in Kutchh. Now that, these guys have made it mandatory to write review of minimum 200 characters. I suggest you stop reading this, as basically i went to this property on a business trip. And all i did there was to sleep and had breakfast.

Like other places in our Gujarat trip..as we prefer Bhunga or haveli stay, we never hesitate twice to opt Vijay Vilas Heritage Resort as our stay for 2 days at Mandvi ...and this property gives something more than our expectations.. The best thing obviously the Heritage Resort itself..with ethnic decor..spacious rooms n Toilet..very clean and well equipped with all modern amenities.. The ambiance is just excellent..the Villa and Swimming pool with garden in other side..that part is charming too.. Vijay Vilas palace is within very close proximity to visit in morning before crowd gathers.. The staffs in Dining are very friendly and they add more taste with their warmness to hot n freshly served awesome food for dinner n breakfast both.. As in our 2 days stay..one day we getr beachfront Dinner with music..and as the day was our Anniversary date..the Ambiance is something special for us..we will remember the day forever..specially the voice.. The Most attractive part is the Personal Beach..900 meters away from our stay and it is India's Largest private beach, where we can enjoy morning time..Sundown show without any unwanted crowds..its a large advantage to stay here.. Price is worthy if one compared with other beach resorts of Mandvi..and total ambiance is magical We Strongly recommend to travelers to make stay here while you are at Mandvi..Taste the best essence of Heritage with Luxury..

Bhuj Airport is approximately 61km away by road. Stayed at the Rann Village Resort for a night in order to visit the White Rann. To start with if you are expecting comfort, luxury and cleanliness then forget about it. Travel with an open mind that you are in for a rural and rustic experience. If you are particular about these things then its better to visit the Rann during the day and drive back in the evening which we did feel we would be better off doing. I would however like to highlight and offer special thanks to our driver Mr Yogesh who was assigned to us. He was cooperative and an extremely pleasant person who made our entire trip worth while. Also want to mention in my review to be careful while dealing with Mr Roy who comes across as a very pompous personality with his ”I know it all” attitude.
