Our family of three was absolutely delighted with the triple room! It was incredibly spacious – we could spread out all three large suitcases and still have plenty of room to move around. The best part was the fantastic natural light; the big windows made the whole room bright and airy, instantly lifting our spirits. The humidifier in the room was a lifesaver at this altitude; we slept soundly without any dryness. The electric kettle heated water quickly, and we really appreciated the thoughtful touch of six complimentary bottles of mineral water! The mini-fridge was also very convenient for keeping our fruits and yogurt chilled. What truly amazed us was the hand-painted ceiling – auspicious Eight Buddhist Symbols, personally painted by a ******* artist. The colors were vibrant and brought a sense of good fortune. Waking up every day to such beautiful art made us feel incredibly blessed. These details really show how much care the hotel puts into its guests, balancing modern comfort with an authentic ******* cultural atmosphere. We had such a comfortable stay and highly recommend it to families traveling together!

After staying in Lhasa for two days, we came back from a short tour and rebooked this Tibetan-style hotel. The staff (both male and female) were very enthusiastic and responsible. We even received a small welcome gift upon check-in, which made us feel right at home. The hotel breakfast was very extensive, and the views from both the room and the restaurant were absolutely stunning.

The room was clean and tidy, and the location was excellent. It's just a few minutes' walk to Barkhor Street and Jokhang Temple. Highly recommend staying here. The service was great; I forgot something and the front desk staff called to inform me and even helped mail it back. Superb! There's parking available at the entrance, which is very convenient for self-driving travelers.

The room was spacious and comfortable, and the Peet's Coffee was a nice touch. The location is unbeatable; you can walk to both the Potala Palace and Jokhang Temple. My biggest complaint, though, is the air conditioning. Not only was the fan incredibly loud, but on the first night, there was no cold air at all. The room was 25 degrees Celsius, and with such a thick duvet, I woke up sweating. The AC worked on the second day, but it turned off in the middle of the night, and I woke up hot again. It wasn't until the third day that the AC seemed to work properly, keeping the room at a comfortable 20 degrees, which made sleeping much better. The breakfast selection was quite limited, with no yogurt and very few pastries or Western-style bread, let alone bacon or anything like that. I'm not sure if this is typical for hotels in Tibet or just a specific issue with Hyatt Centric.

I stayed at this hotel after visiting Lulang Village to see the peach blossoms, and the service was excellent. I heard it's considered the best hotel in Bayi Town. It's about a 20-minute drive from Linzhi High-Speed Rail Station. I chose it because I was taking the high-speed rail to Lhasa the next day. The breakfast was very good, and for dinner, we had the stone pot chicken set. The ******* chicken was quite tough, so we mainly just drank the soup. The hotel provides a full range of toiletries, including body lotion. I took a good oxygen-infused shower and washed my hair; I wouldn't dare wash it so easily the next day when heading to Lhasa.

It's a cute little traditional ******* style hotel that is just a stone throw from Barkhor Street and Jokhang Temple. The hotel doesn't provide breakfast but has an Indian restaurant downstairs. You can also find plenty of food along the Barkhor Street which is like 2 mins walk away. Potala Palace is also relatively near about 2km away. The hotel also has cute kittens running around.

Usually, when I travel, I drive my husband's car, so over the years, I've memorized his license plate and it's become a habit. This time, I temporarily switched to driving my own car. On the day of check-in, I was in a rush and didn't double-check the actual license plate, so I subconsciously gave the front desk the license plate I usually drive. After checking in and going to retrieve the car, I carefully checked the parking spot and suddenly realized I had given the wrong license plate number. This entire incident was due to my own carelessness and mistake, and it had nothing to do with the hotel front desk staff. During my stay, the room was clean and tidy, very comfortable, and all the facilities were well-equipped. My previous negative review was a misunderstanding, and I am specifically clarifying it here in this review. The hotel's service is professional and excellent, and I am correcting my review accordingly.

This was by far the best hotel we stayed at during our trip to Western Sichuan and Tibet. The Tibetan-style architecture is absolutely beautiful. The dual oxygen supply system, with both diffuse oxygen delivery and an oxygen concentrator, gave us peace of mind for a good night's sleep. The young ladies at the front desk were incredibly warm, professional, and helpful. As soon as we arrived, they kindly offered us Rhodiola hot tea to help with the altitude sickness. The gentleman in the lobby enthusiastically helped us with our luggage to our room and even showed us how to use the oxygen facilities. The hotel also provided a thermos of Rhodiola hot tea for guests, so we could enjoy hot water as soon as we woke up in the morning. They even had a dedicated shuttle to take us to nearby attractions. Overall, the service was absolutely top-notch! The breakfast was rich, varied, and very delicious. After staying two nights in Lhasa and then going to Everest Base Camp by car, we didn't hesitate to book this hotel again upon our return. It was a fantastic stay! Highly recommended!!!

The St. Regis Lhasa is undoubtedly the top choice for accommodation in Lhasa. Its ******* luxury decor creates a fantastic ambiance, and the rooms are perfectly equipped with diffuse oxygen systems, which greatly alleviate any discomfort from the high altitude. You can even enjoy stunning views of the Potala Palace right from your window – truly breathtaking. I must give a special shout-out to my exclusive butler, Sangbu, whose service was both professional and incredibly warm. He was attentive and thoughtful throughout my entire stay, providing high-altitude travel tips in advance and greeting me with a comforting hot black tea upon arrival to soothe my body and mind. He was super responsive to all my requests, whether for itinerary advice or item delivery. He paid close attention to my physical well-being and was genuinely humble and kind. The service from this local ******* butler added an extra touch of warmth to my experience. The hotel facilities are comprehensive, with a great pool, spa, and restaurants that maintain high quality. Breakfast offers a rich variety of choices, and the location is excellent, making it very convenient to visit Barkhor Street and Jokhang Temple. Overall, my stay far exceeded expectations. I'm incredibly grateful for Butler Sangbu's meticulous care, which added so many wonderful memories to my Lhasa trip. I will definitely choose the St. Regis Lhasa again on my next visit and highly recommend everyone to ask for Butler Sangbu!

I specifically chose to stay at this Tibetan-style hotel, and I absolutely loved it! I'll definitely be back. From the architectural style to the interior decor, everything felt quite luxurious. There's a Tibetan-style courtyard where you can sit, enjoy the hotel's sweet tea, sunbathe, and watch the cats – it's incredibly relaxing. **Cleanliness:** Excellent. **Environment:** Located near Barkhor Street, within walking distance of Jokhang Temple and Ramoche Temple. It's quiet despite being in a bustling area. Shopping and dining options nearby are very convenient. **Service:** The staff attitude was exceptionally good, and the front desk lady was very welcoming. The hotel even provides free brown sugar and Rhodiola rosea granules, which shows great thoughtfulness. My room didn't have an elevator, but the staff were happy to help carry my luggage upstairs.

GGuest UserThe hotel offers both diffuse oxygen supply and nasal cannula oxygen in the rooms. The staff are very welcoming and attentive. On the first night, the room temperature wouldn't go down, but after discussing it with the front desk the next day, they promptly moved us to a different room. The butler was also very enthusiastic, showing us to the new room and explaining all the features and how to use them. They were also very responsive whenever we had questions. The hotel is conveniently located, not far from Potala Palace and Jokhang Temple; a 20-minute walk is quite manageable. However, the hotel itself is located down an alley, which made it a bit difficult to find and a tiring walk. Also, the breakfast was just average.

XXiaojingerdegushiMany people, myself included, often debate between the St. Regis and the Shangri-La, as both hotels in Beijing are quite unremarkable. Ultimately, I chose the Shangri-La for its value for money. I had considered Songtsam too, but common sense told me to be a smart spender. Although the hotel shows its age, its architectural style is grand and refined, revealing luxurious material choices. Time has inevitably left its mark, but a classic car, even when old, is still a classic car. Moreover, service and quality require time to accumulate and withstand market scrutiny. While the Shangri-La may not have many existing locations, it still holds a strong market advantage, and it takes an discerning eye to appreciate it. My butler, Bowen, arranged my room before I even arrived. Looking out the window at the Potala Palace's silhouette in the distance immediately set the mood. He then meticulously delivered on all aspects of my package. I found Bowen to be a man of few words but very steady, highly responsive, and an exceptionally smooth driver. He never asked inappropriate or subjective questions, which I truly appreciated. Over three days, Bowen's accompaniment added a unique dimension to my Lhasa itinerary. Among the few Tibetans I've encountered, he was a definite plus. I sincerely wish him all the best in his work! The Shangri-La in Lhasa lives up to its brand's standards and enhances the reputation of its sister properties. I'm so glad I made the right choice; this will be a memorable and wonderful travel experience.

WWeiweiIPI really like Hilton's toiletries, Crabtree & Evelyn, and the fragrance is also my favorite. Hilton is still the best hotel in Shigatse in my opinion, but it's a bit far from Tashilhunpo Monastery, so you'll need to take a taxi. The breakfast experience at the Chinese restaurant was genuinely bad; the buffet setup was messy, and even though the food was the same, the disorganized setup ruined the dining experience. The next day at the Western restaurant, the buffet layout was clear and organized. The food was still the same, but the dining experience instantly improved significantly.

GGuest UserThe hotel environment is excellent, and it's very clean and comfortable. I'd definitely have stayed a few more days if I hadn't already booked my flight. The hotel activities are also great. However, I was quite disappointed with the front desk service. We had two rooms in our party, and one of them was upgraded, but we weren't informed. When I called the front desk, the first time they said they were busy with check-ins. The second time I called, they told me the room card was incorrect. A little later, they said it was an upgrade. I'm not sure how credible the front desk's statements are. Then, the next day, when I inquired about the deposit refund, they initially told me the deposit for room 501 had been returned. I told them I paid 1000 for both rooms together, and then they said room 507 hadn't been inspected yet. I'm not sure if the hotel front desk has proper systematic training. I booked for one night, and both explanations from the front desk felt deceptive. I hope the hotel can provide more training for their front desk staff. Although the front desk's actions made me uncomfortable, I'm very satisfied with how the hotel manager handled the situation. He went back and forth several times to resolve it for me and kept apologizing. I would definitely stay at this hotel again when I visit Lhasa next time, but I sincerely hope they can thoroughly and systematically train their front desk staff. After all, it's a high-end hotel, but the front desk's communication style doesn't seem to match that standard.
