The moment I stepped into my room, I was instantly captivated by the panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows. The untouched primeval forest felt close enough to touch. In the mornings, a sea of clouds drifted past the window frames, and at night, the starlit sky stretched above the eaves – every single moment was a breathtaking visual feast from nature. The room's design is both rustic and sophisticated. The bathtub, in particular, was an absolute highlight – perfect for a relaxing soak after a day of exploring, making all fatigue instantly melt away. The host's service was incredibly attentive, offering thoughtful itinerary suggestions and enthusiastic recommendations, truly adding a personal and warm touch to our stay. Far enough from the madding crowd, yet wonderfully close to nature.

Came to Wuhan for the New Year's Day holiday and chose this Sheraton in Hankou. We smoothly checked in after taking a taxi directly from Yellow Crane Tower in the evening. The pool temperature was just right, and it wasn't crowded at night, plus you could use the sauna – very comfortable. I went to the gym at 6:30 AM and found a few gentlemen already burning calories on the treadmills and elliptical trainers, full of youthful energy! Check-out was also very convenient, and it was easy to get a taxi right outside. A big shout-out to Manager Jenny, who was incredibly thoughtful with everything from booking and check-in to post-departure follow-up! A delightful two-day trip to Wuhan!

Because I checked in at 3 o'clock in the middle of the night, the manager introduced some areas of the hotel, which saved me the time of calling and asking questions one by one!

During check-in, the front desk staff member had very limited English proficiency and relied entirely on a translation app. While we understand language barriers may exist, it was rather frustrating, especially in the hospitality industry where basic English communication is generally expected. The hotel’s location on Google Maps was inaccurate, causing us to get lost and waste considerable time. Upon arrival, the gate staff did not greet us, and no assistance was offered with our luggage. However, the bellboy on the day of our check-out—a young gentleman—provided excellent service and left a positive impression. Likewise, the female staff member at the restaurant near the lobby was impressively cheerful and attentive. The male staff member at the gym was also courteous and professional.

Excellent twin room with a spectacular view of the Yangtze - benefiting from a corner room - amazing. Loved the quality of the room contents - free snacks, good tea, nice bathrobes and quality linens. Very comfortable beds and pillows. Also high tech - I think if we knew mandarin we could have used all the room gadgets ! Nice TV - all Chinese. Lovely Chinese breakfast with wonderful views of the river. Good delicious food. Overall a 5 star experience! We will be back if we pass thru Yichang again. The location is fantastic - across from exquisite gardens and river-side walkways. Close to the Wanda mall. Highly recommended!!!
