Love the room design and grateful for the free treats. The location is around 10mins walk to the lanzhou west train station, however during my stay there, part of the road was under construction, so it wasn't the most easiest to get around especially when the round overhead bridge only had stairs. Nearby there are lots of malls and place to eat. For the room itself, despite the cosy ambience, it rirks of smoke smell especially on my first day. At night, it's even worst as the air filter started leaking more cigarettes stench into my room. There is also no hairdryer provided. And what happened to the mountain view room I was supposed to have? The view outside is just the road and some dirty cityscapes. I was so looking forward to that 🫤. I was also locked out of my room after the first night, and luckily one of the cleaner helped me unlock my room and save me from making another trip down to the receptionist. Overall I will still recommend a stay.

Stayed for three days and was very satisfied in every aspect. I originally booked it for only one day, but I renewed it for another day and another day. I loved it so much that I couldn't bear to leave.
First, we entered the hotel lobby to check in. The front desk staff enthusiastically poured a cup of hot tea. Check-in was also very fast and we quickly arrived at the room.
The room feels very open as soon as you open it, and the design and layout are very natural.

There are robots delivering takeaways and missing items. During my three-day stay, the robots came nine times. I really like the cute robots.
There is also night fruit and milk in the evening.

Finally, I had nothing to do and drew a floor plan of the room. If you don't draw well, just play around and make do with it. The actual area is a little larger than what I drew, and there is a slight error in my measurement.

Walking into the room of Atour Hotel, I was immediately attracted by its spaciousness and cleanliness. Every detail in the room seemed to be carefully taken care of. I put down my luggage and walked to the window, and an amazing super night view immediately came into view. The lights of the city flickered like a sea of stars, and the Yellow River was downstairs. It was the right choice to choose this hotel. The next day, I was about to pack up and go out, and I heard a knock on the door. I opened the door and a smiling staff member stood outside the door. Her name is Kaiyan, and she is the aunt in charge of cleaning the room. She gently asked me if I needed help and asked if I needed to clean up. I said I could clean now. She was skilled and gentle, so I packed up and went out. While tidying up the room, Kaiyan noticed the clothes I soaked in the basin. She took the initiative to help me wash them. She not only washed the clothes cleanly, but also carefully helped me iron them flat. When I came back and saw those neat and new clothes, I couldn't help but feel a warm current in my heart. The hotel is also within 15 minutes walk to Lanzhou new area railway to give me easy train ride (40 minutes) to Lanzhou west (main) station. The only down side is if you are coming back late, there are very limited trains to the new area railway, and nothing to Zhongchuang airport railway either except private ride (around 75 km, price is 28 yuan for the shared ride or 200 yuan for solo). However, once you can manage to get to the airport, there will be free shuttles from the hotel just by calling to their friendly staffs. I can highly recommend the hotel to anyone. I really appreciate the visions of the hotel founder (his book can be found when you enter the room :) who successfully created hotel homes for travellers. I felt comfortable and home there.

TTraveling BritFirst of all the hotel is in a great location, right next to Lanzhou centre (with direct access) near the gansu museum and gansu women and children's hospital. If that's not enough it's also close to the subway station.
The rooms were spacious and clean and we felt very comfortable in them, the morning breakfast had plenty of options and was satisfactory. My only issue with this hotel is the elevator wait times (although that's not an issue with the hotel itself rather the building) when going from the ground floor to the hotel rooms we would often wait a few.minutes for the lift, when it arrived people would push infront ensuring no more space.
When I left the hotel at 10 in the morning it took me over 20 minutes to just get an elevator with space to go down, i tried taking the stairs but the doors were locked.
Overall a good hotel i wouldn't stay again just because of the elevator, everything else is perfect.

GGuest UserAmazing experience. The staff is really helpful and they gave me good tips what to do and eat in Lanzhou. They also spoke English which is always appreciated in China. They helped me to deliver a package without questions. It is close to a metro station and west railway station. Really good restaurants just around the corner. The common areas are really nice. Thank you, will come back!

JJinzhulamuYou can walk or take a taxi from the high-speed rail station. The starting price of a taxi in Tianshui is 5 yuan. It is close to the Gansu Provincial Museum. There are buses and subways nearby, which is very convenient. The interior of the room is comfortable and the bedding is comfortable. I recommend it if you want to stay near the West Railway Station.

… this is the hotel to stay especially if you are an independent traveller!
Even before arrival we reached out to Li and she promptly promised to send a car to meet us upon arrival at Langzhouxi. The Tumendun metro station is right in front of the hotel. So is the bus stop which serves buses running to several Lanzhou attractions.
Aside from the obvious locational advantages the thing that strikes me most is the warmth and hospitality of the family running the place. Everyone from father, mother, 2 sons to DIL was eager to help with any questions that we might have. We couldn’t believe how patient they were in providing invaluable insights for the benefit of the tourist.
The room and bathroom were kept clean. Hot and cold water were readily available as well as a kettle.
We are grateful and would like to thank the whole family for treating us like family during our short stay here!
