The hotel was a 3-5 minutes walk from the metro station, which is a 15 mins transfer ride from Lausanne's main train station. The location is very nice, with the Geneva Lake right across the road. An easy, straight line walk to the Olympic Park and museum. Coop downstairs for simple groceries. The breakfast was super good, quality food and cooking. The breakfast offered a variety of delicious choices, service was very nice too. The breakfast here was my favourite along the way. Watching the sunrise by window seats was a bonus. The street was very quiet, overall a tranquil feeling during my stay. A number of restaurants within 5 minutes walk as well. The room was nice, they offered a personal care kit which was very helpful. You also get a free chocolate 😌

Reception was very polite. Took the time to give advice and informations, even at late hour at night. I forgot things in the room, while I was staying there. They reacted after my call and ordered a delivery in short notice. Room had a nice view and very nice to work in. I would definitely book again.

The room facilities are old, the drain plug does not bounce back, and there is no shower curtain in the bathroom. Although environmental protection is very important, they do not actively provide slippers, toothbrushes, shower caps, and cotton swabs. I called and said that the experience without cotton swabs is really bad.

The location of the hotel is very good, opposite the lake. Although you can't see it from the room, you can see the lake after leaving the hotel. Just a few hundred meters walk from the hotel to the subway (the only place in Switzerland with a subway) and a few stops to the center of Lausanne.

This was the second time I stayed at this hotel during this trip. When I went to bed at night, I found someone else's hair on my pillow. I called housekeeping to change it, but I still felt uncomfortable with the hotel's cleaning service.

Movenpick's hotel is still of a very high standard! Of course, the ice cream on the first floor is not to be missed! The room is clean and functional! Movenpick coffee combined with Nespresso coffee machine is very good! The gym on the 1st floor is also very good, very quiet, I am alone in the morning. The location is also very good, close to the Ouchy station of M2, very close to the IMD management school and the Olympic Museum. Recommended!

This is one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. The sanitation is poor and dirty everywhere, and there is a problem with the air conditioner. It is too hot at night. The card in the hotel room can open other people's rooms, and other people's cards can also open our room. It is just a waiter at night I can't see it. The lobby door can only go in and out at night, and I can't come back when I go out. I was locked outside until three o'clock in the morning, and no one answered the hotel customer service calls in the middle. I didn’t sleep all night. I couldn’t participate in the day trip the next day. I lost 1800. Ctrip found various reasons not to solve the problem. I was really disappointed. I’m still a gold diamond member. I fooled us every day. The hotel booked three I only stayed for one day in the next day, and I changed hotels later, and the room fee would not be refunded. I bought cancellation insurance, but Ctrip sent me an email to ask me to apply for it. I saw that the steps were super complicated. Ctrip is just here to be funny

The lady at the front desk of the hotel was very nice. She gave me free parking for a day. She also introduced various places in Lausanne in detail and recommended must-see attractions in France. The hotel facilities are very good. It is also very convenient to take the subway. Parking is also very convenient.

MOVENPICK HOTEL is a chain hotel on the shores of Lake Geneva in Lausanne. The hotel rooms are well-equipped, with glass bottled water, capsule coffee machine, six capsule coffee, slippers, and chocolate 🍫. The breakfast is very rich, you can also drink morning tea and eat instant noodles. At the door is a sailboat base. The scenery is very beautiful. People who love sports can run in the morning, get on a bicycle, and run on a natural track. Very good sports environment.

Good value for money. Opposite Lake Geneva. Breakfast is relatively simple for Chinese people, but it's OK.

The room facilities are very good, but there are children upstairs in the specific room the hotel arranged for us, which makes it noisy at night.
