Very Helpful staff, some of them can communicate in English. Room cleanliness and good amenities. Breakfast varieties. Great Location near the shopping area and Lijiang Old Town.

The hotel is close to the ancient town of Suhe, the environment is great, the room is quiet, the breakfast is rich, and you can see the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain outside the restaurant. Most importantly, from the lobby manager to the cleaning lady, everyone is very warm and polite. It was very comfortable to stay here during the Spring Festival.

Beautiful Hotel. Whole family was pleased with it. We had 2 rooms with a private courtyard arranged by Nancy. She was helpful from check-in to check out arrangement. The place is quite and well maintained. Is conveniently located. Breakfast was great! Special thanks to conceige Mr Steve Zhou. We were worried initially having to drag our luggage to n from our respective rooms which were a distance from the main reception. But Mr Zhou made an effort to check on the guests and standby at our check out time to bring our luggage to the lobby without us having to make the arrangement. His proactiveness and making sure nothing is left behind was remarkable. The only setback is the photography service in the hotel. Paid a hearty sum of money but the quality was not good and certainly did not match the price. We had similar photography service at Dali for one fifth of the price and so much more professionally taken.

Wonderful resort — big rooms in In traditional Chinese village style. Near Shuhe old town which is far far better than the larger Lijiang old town. But what makes our stay most memorable was the personalized care and customer service of front desk staff (thank you Rita!). She made sure my room, check out times, personal preference are all attended to when we left instructions before arrival. Truly first class service. I will be back next year for the mountain azaleas season and for sure I am staying here again.

It was very unique experience being at Old Town, Lijiang. The fact that we stayed at this place, made it even more memorable. The location is very close/walkable to square street of the Ancient town. The room is spacious with hot shower and all basic amenities working properly. Specially the mattress was great and made us sleep like babies. :) Another important part of the experience was the hosts, mainly Andy. He was always available via WeChat and was very helpful all the way. We had language barrier, but with translator apps we made it work. Andy helped us with directions, taking us to food places even when many places were closed & we were facing a -1 degree celsius temperature, made us tea that kept us warm and many other act of generosity and overall being a very good host. The place and amenities get 9/10 plus extra few points for the hosts Andy & his colleagues.

I enjoyed the hotel stay a lot. Beautiful architecture, large breakfast selection, and you just can’t go wrong with a large hotel. My tip to other Travellers who are looking for a luxury experience, please don’t go for the up and coming avant garde room designs that seem to be popular in Lijiang. Pros: 1. Economies of scale, rooms are of a high standard. Heating, air-conditioning all work fine. You’ll realize it’s a problem with the boutique hotels who are at the same price point 2. Breakfast begins at 6:30am - great for when you want to start your day early. 3. They had beautiful black swans and offer free activities like kayaking alongside them. Cons: 1. The boutique hotels has personalized services compared to large hotels. However, it’s not important for me.

Location is perfect, inside the ancient town with many restaurants and shops around. The reception staff 小马 was very helpful. He picked me up from the main gate when I arrived, recommended restaurants and also helped me packed my things when ancient city did not accept more than 24h PCR test. The hotel location is quiet, away from the main streets with shops. It has a good view too. Thebonly downside is that they serve breakfast late, after 8am, so if you are traveling or going on tour you won't have breakfast. I was not able to eat breakfast while I was there. Unfortunately, my stay was cut short because of the Covid policy in ancient town.
