"The hotel was beautiful, modern, well decorated and spotlessly clean. The staff were friendly and attentive and they provided many lovely touches e.g. a warm drink in the evening, afternoon tea, and a leaving gift. The breakfast was fantastic. It was easy to find in the old town. The only constructive criticism we can give is that knowledge of the surrounding tourist attractions/how to get there etc could be better, but it may have just been a language barrier. We also didn't like to see the fish in the little pool but again this may be a cultural difference. Would definitely recommend staying here, it was miles better than another hotel we stayed in with similar star reviews."

"This inn is located in a good, less busy and more local old town and is easy to navigate to yulong snow mountain and southern Lijiang from, being situated between them. The amenities are standard, but the helpfulness and hospitality of the staff more than made up for it. More than happy to sit down for tea and chat about what to do in Lijiang, Yunnan as a whole. A small store next to the lobby also helps. Cleanliness is pretty good, though not spotless or perfect. Overall would highly recommend this inn for anyone looking for a down to earth and chill spot to stay at in Lijiang."
