"The complimentary train station pickup makes a lovely start of our trip to Lijiang. The driver was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The courtyard is also nice to chill. Only gripe is frontdesk staff could be a little more hospitable. Asked a few questions about booking of Lijiang Romance Park tickets but didn’t really get much assistance. The interaction was transactional. Not a deal breaker, since most of the time we were out. Hotel also provided some snacks on the second day :)"

GGuest UserSetting up my home at the foot of the snowy mountains, living amidst the scenery – this hotel fulfilled all my fantasies for a snow mountain getaway. Opening the window, I was greeted by majestic snow-capped peaks, wreathed in clouds, like a fairyland. In the morning, I witnessed the golden glow of the sunrise on the mountains; in the evening, I quietly admired the sunset painting the snow. At night, I gazed up at the brilliant starry sky – every moment was so beautiful it left me speechless. The room had a wonderful texture, with warm-toned design elements incorporating Naxi style, making it both cozy and luxurious. The private hot spring tub melted away all my fatigue. The staff were gentle and enthusiastic, with meticulous service. Every day here felt slow and peaceful, accompanied by the snow mountains, healing and wonderful. It's definitely worth countless return visits!

GGuest UserThis hotel made up 90% of my wonderful Lijiang trip – it was incredibly comfortable and the service was so thoughtful. The excellent service started right from booking; the owner added me on WeChat to ask about my arrival time and if I needed a pick-up, always replying instantly. They even helped with my luggage! The hotel is halfway up the mountain, offering stunning views of Lijiang Old Town. Whenever I wanted to go out, they'd drive me to the old town entrance, making it super convenient – a quiet escape yet close to everything. Plus, food delivery comes right to your room. The daily afternoon tea, coffee, and regular tea were all delicious, and the mini cakes and cookies were also high quality. There are 3 cats to pet, and a huge, super clear projector that was so comfy it made me not want to leave the room, haha.
⭐️ **Amenities:** It has an elevator! Floor-to-ceiling windows, a spacious and bright room, with sunlight streaming in – super comfortable! There's underfloor heating, powerful air conditioning, and a humidifier. The furniture is solid and high-quality, and the bed is just the right softness with comfortable linens.
⭐️ **Hygiene:** Daily cleaning, disposable slippers in sterilized packaging, soft and clean towels, separate toilet and shower areas, and a bathtub – extremely clean!
⭐️ **Service:** Absolutely amazing, they catered to every request! They provided sightseeing tips and routes with location pins, no pushy sales, and were as warm and attentive as a good friend! Unlimited complimentary bottled water, they'd offer water and an umbrella when I left, and fresh flower cakes when I returned – they looked after me so well!
We will definitely be back.

AAnonymous UserWe had an incredibly pleasant stay at Mo Shan, with a calm and comfortable room that provided a perfect place to rest after exploring the old town. The hot spring bath was particularly relaxing and secluded terrace added a nice touch to the overall experience. Breakfast was also a highlight — the freshly prepared noodles were delicious and a great way to start the day.
What truly stood out was the level of care and attention from the hosts. They were consistently helpful, assisting with organizing and booking day trips, and even preparing takeaway breakfast for early morning departures. The availability of a self-service laundry room was also greatly appreciated during our travels.
Finally, the support with luggage — especially coordinating and helping carry it from within the old city to the taxi pick-up point — made a real difference and showed genuine attentiveness.
Overall, a thoughtful and well-managed stay, combining comfort, hospitality, and practical support for travelers.

It's right inside Lijiang Ancient Town! As soon as you step out, you're on cobblestone streets. You can walk to Sifang Street in just 5 minutes. After exploring the night market, you can just stroll back to the hotel – no need for a taxi at all, which makes you feel super safe 💯.
🏠 The facilities are unbelievably complete:
* Smart toilet – Heated seat + automatic flush. No more freezing cold toilet seats in winter!
* Central air conditioning + humidifier – The humidity here is just perfect.
* Full set of toiletries – Not those cheap sample sizes! These are proper branded products, and they smell amazing.
* 24-hour hot water + thermostatic shower – The water pressure is fantastic; showering here is pure bliss 🚿.
* They called us the day before check-in to confirm our itinerary and even sent us a guide for exploring the ancient town 📋.
* The front desk lady was incredibly sweet and upgraded us to a room with a view.
* There's free afternoon tea every day, with flower cakes and Pu'er tea. Sitting in the courtyard soaking up the sun was so chill 🌸.
* When checking out, they even gave us parting gifts (tie-dye and Pu'er tea cakes), which was a lovely touch. They also offer a free photography service, including makeup and styling, saving us the trouble of finding a photo studio ourselves!

ZZileI wanted a hotel in Lijiang that offered both the convenience of the Old Town and a resort feel, so I chose the InterContinental Lijiang. The hotel is right by the South Gate of Dayan Old Town, with a private entrance directly into the Old Town. When you're tired from exploring, you can just swipe your card and head back to your room to rest, without having to drag your luggage over the cobblestone streets.
The lobby, famously described online as the most beautiful, truly lives up to its reputation. The enormous floor-to-ceiling windows in the lobby offer a stunning view of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, and you can enjoy the same view from the restaurant. If you wake up early on a clear day, you might even catch the 'golden summit' sunrise, provided the weather is good enough. Even in the breakfast restaurant, you can savor local specialties like 'Xiaoguo Mixian' (small pot rice noodles) and rose flower cakes while gazing at the snow-capped mountains – it's incredibly therapeutic.
The entire hotel is like a miniature version of the Old Town, with small bridges, flowing water, 'three-eye' wells, and a large waterwheel. Strolling through the courtyards in the morning or evening is wonderfully peaceful, and every photo you take looks like an ancient Chinese masterpiece.
The biggest highlight of my stay was Lisa's service. Before I even checked in, Lisa contacted me via WeChat to confirm my needs. There's an electric cart service on call throughout the resort, and complimentary parking, a heated swimming pool, and a spa are all available. My booked room also included a free mini-bar and a complimentary simple photoshoot.
Breakfast truly showcased Yunnan's unique flavors, with freshly cooked 'Xiaoguo Mixian', rice cakes, 'Baojiang' tofu, and flower cakes, among other local specialties. There were also Western options, so you could choose whatever you liked.

GGuest UserThis hotel is excellent! They upgraded our room, which was perfect for two adults and two children – not cramped at all. The hotel food was also fantastic, so we didn't even need to go out looking for meals. The activities organized by the hotel were great too; the kids had a blast. Xiao Xi and Xiao Kai took the children to 'Wilderness Hunter,' which was a really meaningful experience.

However, the hotel handled this issue very professionally. Later, Ctrip customer service called to say the agent had upgraded my room. Anyway, it all worked out in the end. The hotel is like a beautiful garden; I'd love to stay here for a few more days on my next trip to Lijiang.

GGuest UserWhen you come to Lijiang and stay at the foot of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, you shouldn't set your expectations too high for other things. But that doesn't mean it's bad. I just hope they can do better! The hotel activities are also good; you won't get bored even if you stay for a few more days. The hotel is located at a high altitude, so considering guests' health, there are no gym or swimming pool facilities. Thanks to Huang Xingyu, Li Guirong, Li Rongzhen, and other staff members in the restaurant for their care these past few days. Important tip!!! All guests who want to eat yak hotpot must ask the young lady Li Guirong to help prepare the dipping sauce. You'll thank me later.

The most stunning feature is the private viewing balcony, offering an unobstructed, direct view of the entire Jade Dragon Snow Mountain right from your room. You can wake up to the 'sunlit golden mountain' phenomenon from your bed in the morning, and in the evening, sit on the terrace, enjoy the breeze, and watch the clouds drift over the mountaintops – every photo you take will be postcard-perfect, with an absolutely superb and unobstructed view.
I must particularly commend our dedicated butler, Elin. She proactively contacted us before check-in, confirmed our itinerary in advance, and even reminded us about the temperature differences between morning and evening. The entire check-in process was completely hassle-free. She was instantly available via WeChat, responding incredibly quickly, and arranged all additional supplies meticulously and thoughtfully. Her sense of propriety was just right – warm without being intrusive, with thoughtful details at every turn. Our entire trip was perfectly taken care of, making our travel experience truly wonderful.

The room views are amazing; some rooms even offer distant views of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. The room itself was clean, tidy, and quiet, making for a very relaxing stay. The hotel breakfast was superb, with a wide variety of delicious dishes, fresh ingredients, and great flavors. Eating breakfast every day was a real treat. During my stay, I had to go out for something, and when I spoke to the front desk about a late checkout until 3 PM, they readily agreed – it was incredibly considerate. Later, my flight was unexpectedly canceled, completely disrupting my plans. The staff were very understanding and accommodating, patiently waiting while I rearranged my itinerary. Their service was gentle and thoughtful, with great attention to detail. Overall, the value for money is exceptional. If you're visiting Lijiang, staying here is a guaranteed good choice. I've already saved this place and will definitely choose to stay here again next time. I genuinely recommend it to everyone!
