My Story Hotel Augusta Reviews

Had a fantastic stay at the Augusta Hotel! The property is immaculately clean, and the staff are welcoming and professional. The location is perfect, right in the heart of Lisbon on Rua Augusta, within walking distance to everything – monuments, restaurants, and transport. A truly delightful stay in a charming setting. I highly recommend it!

Excellent location. The external noise was very well muffled by the sealed windows. Breakfast was very good! Highlight: Steven's service was outstanding. He was kind, cheerful, patient, and incredibly helpful with information. He works with both intelligence and heart! This is a “Charming” Hotel. From the moment I contacted them to check out, the staff was amazing. The location is great. Staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. They worked very hard to make sure you were taken care of I would strongly recommend this hotel

Really nice reception staff. Excellent breakfast. All amenities included in room.

The location is the only good thing about this hotel. Otherwise, it leaves a lot to be desired. The room and bathroom were tiny, and there wasn't even a chair to sit on in the lobby. The front desk staff and housekeepers were attentive, though. The bathroom floor and walls aren't tiled, just painted. The elevator and water heating had issues. Not to mention, we didn't pay cheap for our stay.

Not one to leave a bad review, but leaky shower with water flowing out, and very dark dingy room with a wall as the view. - which was sold as “city view” Asked for an extension as catching a late flight- was offered to either pay full price for another night (20 hours) or half day price but for only 4 hours. Reason being the room can be sold, but they had 11 empty rooms available. We paid half day rate for 5 hours, only to find the room was not booked or sold- front desk staff were friendly enough except a couple of them. Big greedy hotel chain. And out of principle will not be staying at any of the chain again. Good location, but do your due diligence before booking and paying- There are better hotels out here 2.5 star at best.

Good for one person stay or short stays

This hotel is in an excellent location on a very popular street that leads to ocean views. Despite it being in this area, my room was surprisingly very quiet. Service is nice and friendly. The only downside was that when taking the shower I had to be careful because the hot water was way too hot and required constant adjustments to stay at a good temperature.

We were traveling as a couple and had originally booked the smallest room category. To our great delight, we were easily upgraded to a spacious room during our seven-day stay – truly excellent service! A big thank you to Steven! Overall, we were very satisfied. While the hotel is a bit dated, it impresses with its excellent maintenance and cleanliness. We would especially like to commend the consistently friendly and helpful staff, who made our stay even more enjoyable. We felt very comfortable, would gladly recommend the hotel, and will definitely return when we have the opportunity!

The bathroom fixtures are too small, and water leaks out when showering. Space

This is my second time staying at this hotel! The location is excellent, less than 100 meters from the nearest metro station. The breakfast is nutritious and varied, and the service is great. Highly recommended! Steven at the front desk is a young man I've known since my stay three years ago—he's incredibly warm and attentive! A girl also recognized me and said she remembered the little gift I left her (which I myself had forgotten)! If I have the chance to go to Lisbon again, I will definitely choose to stay at this hotel.

It was great that it was so close to the station. The breakfast was exactly the same on both days.

The location is good. However, I think the overall area, including the rooms, is small. I think it would be okay for a solo traveler to stay here.
