Railton House (Paddington)

Every staff here is friendly! Met people from around the earth and that was really fun. I booked a room which includes two meals a day. There are also some options without meals but you can cook for yourself. Great thanks to chef Matteo who designed the versatile menu. He really makes excellent food, especially his tiramisu ☕

One of the best hostels I've ever stayed in! The rooms are impeccably clean and beautifully designed. The meals are amazing, prepared to five-star standards, and absolutely delicious. I had the pleasure of meeting Chef Matteo D’Angelo, whose culinary skills are superb across various cuisines. Highly recommend this hostel for its comfort and exceptional dining experience.

The Railton House is a great place! Good location, with train station, subway, markets, park, everything close by, Very attentive to cleanliness and organization of common areas and rooms. The people working there are attentive and helpful. I highly recommend. I really enjoyed the 30 day stay.

I had an amazing stay at Railton House in London. The staff was super friendly and very helpful, the rooms were very clean and comfortable, and the location was perfect for exploring the city. I would definitely highly recommend this hostel to everyone! I can‘t thank the hostel enough for contributing to an unforgettable London experience. Railton House feels like home!

It's over 6 months I've complained about the broken window in my room and LHA don't fix and give no explanation. It's very small window for the room size and It sliding down, need to fix urgently but looks like they don't care about residents fair environment. Not good management in 2022.

Firstly, a bit of context is required. After sercuring a new employment opportunity in London, I needed to suddenly move to the city. I opted to stay in 5 or 6 LHA hostels across the citys centre. All of them were unorgnaised, unclean and generally unpleasant places to stay as the staff simply didn't care. Then I checked into Railton House and was immediatley met with lovely staff. Over my time there, I learned how they run the building and it makes so much sense as a resident. The communciation between them and the residents is fantastic, they are hard workers and are always quick and efficient to resolve any issues you have. All areas regularly cleaned. Nice garden/outdoor area at the back. Reception open all day with a helpful night porter on duty during nights. 5 minutes from Paddington and 5 minutes from Lancaster Gate station means you have several options to get into the centre quickly. If you work nights you have easy options for buses home. Overall, I can strongly reccommend staying here if you need temporary accomodation.
