The owner of this Homestay is really great and a wonderful cook like mum's cooking. It felt like home and they can pick you up and drop you off if you call them from dazai carpark bus drop off . The homestay has a beautiful view of dazai rice field and the owner do not hesitate to upgrade your room if place is not crowded . Thank you very much 🙏 God bless 🙏

We recently had the pleasure of staying at the Wuyan Hongyun Hotel, and I can confidently say it deserves every bit of praise! From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the breathtaking 180-degree view of the dreamy rice terraces, which created a stunning backdrop for our vacation. The scenery alone was worth every minute of our stay. The hotel personnel were not only friendly but also went above and beyond to make our experience unforgettable. They welcomed us with warm smiles and attentive service, making us feel right at home. A highlight of our visit was the delicious fresh homemade dumplings they prepared for us. They were simply the best we've ever had, and my family enjoyed every bite! Our stay at Wuyan Hongyun Hotel was nothing short of magical, and I can’t wait to return! If you’re looking for a place that combines natural beauty, exceptional service, and mouthwatering food, this is the place to be. Highly recommend!

Perfect place, they pick you up at Dazhai parking lot and take you the day you leave. It’s very clean, we took lunch and dinner, really good and not expensive at all. There is also laundry self Service, very useful. We went walking to the cablecar station, about 40 minutes nice walk. And the swimming pool is a great plan after walking. There is also a billiard table to use free of charge. They helped us to organize the bus to Guilin. We highly recommend this hotel.

This was a local hotel that was situated on a peak facing Jinfoding (Golden Buddha Peak), so note it’s not on Jinfoding itself but still in the same area of Jinkeng Dazhai. I hired a driver via the hotel to fetch me from Guilin Airport to the hotel. Journey took about 3 hours using local roads, if you can somehow negotiate with your driver to take the expressway from the airport, it will be about an hour shorter and less scenic but also less nauseating. Access to hotel is pretty limited unless you hire a driver or you drive. If you take the bus from Guilin downtown/Airport, it will only alight you at the Dazhai parking lot, and you still need to make transport arrangements to get to the hotel within the scenic area (anywhere between 20-40min drive) but the boss is helpful and very contactable (phone call or wechat). I wouldn’t recommend walking to the hotel cos it is situated at the top of a pretty steep hill and it is a one-car lane that goes both ways with many blind spots. At the hotel, you could choose to walk and hike the terraces to other viewpoints in Jinkeng, but note that the routes will be very long and exhausting. If you plan to visit other villages like Ping An Zhai, it’s about an hour’s drive away on mountain roads, and it’s best if you hire a driver as well. Overall, room was very clean and spacious and was true to trip.com description and pictures. Very comfortable, clean and scenic stay! Shower and toilet are separate and clean. There’s a bathtub situated right behind the bed, they provided disposable bathtub liner if you want to use it. Hotel is situated near one of the viewpoints in Jinkeng, but it was very misty on the day I hiked. From what I could make out through the mist, the views seem pretty epic. View from the room is great and the boss provided a welcome sweet rice wine drink with lunch which was great! The boss gave me some luohanguo as a souvenir when I checked out! Did I also mention, breakfast provided included a jar of fresh warm soy milk and a delicious bowl of rice noodles made to order! Will stay again in future!

This was such a lovely homestay! The family who runs it are really kind and helpful. They cooked for us (gave us some delicious rice wine!), helped us find some good hikes and also helped us book transport back to Yanghsuo. The location is really great, just a short walk from the centre of Dazhai and the homestay is very traditional. Everything was clean and comfortable, the aircon worked really well, and our room even had a lovely little seating area. I would really recommend this place for anyone staying in the village (also make sure to try their home cooked meals, delicious!)

Ink and Longji Homestay was one of the highlights of our trip. It’s a cozy and peaceful place nestled in a small village, far from any big city — perfect if you’re looking to disconnect and enjoy nature. The views are absolutely stunning, especially from the nearby observation decks and walking trails through the rice terraces. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay. They arranged a car to pick us up from Yangshuo, and the manager himself even drove us to Guilin airport — truly above and beyond! The hotel’s restaurant was also excellent, with delicious food and flexible vegetarian and vegan options. Just be aware that since the village is remote, there are no convenience stores nearby — so bring anything essential with you. We really enjoyed the peaceful walks around the area, and the staff gave us great tips for spots to explore, including a beautiful viewpoint we wouldn’t have found on our own. Highly recommended for anyone looking to experience the beauty of Longji in comfort and with warm hospitality!

A great place to stay in Longji (Tiantouzhai). The staff is adorable and super helpful, they helped me with arranging carpooling, which is economical as a solo traveler. The food was delicious, try the braised potatoes with pork belly! The view from the room was nice too. The only thing that could be improved is that my bed/mattress was a bit hard, I'm used to softer beds I guess. I highly recommend this hotel!

Our stay at the hotel was great! The hosts are super friendly and helpful. They also respond very quickly to all your questions and you can easily reach them via WeChat. They helped us to book a direct bus from Guilin to Dazhai and from Dazhai to Yangshuo. The pick up and drop off service from the Dazhai parking lot is quick and efficient, we were really happy that we didn't need to walk up the hill with our heavy luggage. The room is clean, spacious and luxurious. The breakfast is really good. We also ordered food for dinner twice and it was delicious! We also got some very good rice wine and tea with the dinner. We're travelling in China for a month and this was definitely our best stay of the entire trip!

we spent one month travelling China and this stay was definitely our favourite! The rooms were very clean and we received a free upgrade and all the amenities in the room worked perfectly! It’s a family run business and the mom made the best homemade food we tried in China and the dad and son were also extremely kind and helpful! They organized a free pick up to and from the bus stop and helped us organize the tickets for the bus to Guilin. The son speaks very good english so communication was no problem and he helped with any questions we had. The location was also extremely convenient and the view was very beautiful! Definitely recommend coming here!

What a gem! A central location in the Dazhai village to be able to fully enjoy the Longji rice villages. Balcony view kept you connected with the village while relaxing in your room. Instant hot water for the shower and nice connected bathroom. The owners of the hotel were very accommodating and were able to answer all of our questions with kindness. On our way in and out we were taken by car, although walking from the parking lot to the hotel is also a quick option. Finally, we ordered dinner in the room the last evening and were surprised by how well the food was made and also the large portions served. No complaints!
