Hotels Near Little Tokyo in Los Angeles

I stayed here from 7/2 to watch the Dodgers. I knew about it, but there was no air conditioning. I was able to sleep without it, but if you can't sleep without it, you should avoid it. I left the window open when I went out, but it felt a bit stuffy when I returned to the room after the game. Miyako Hotel is across the street, and the Japanese Village is next to it. There is a supermarket called Nijiya inside, so you can buy rice balls and bento boxes. It is open from 9:00 to 21:00. If you want to eat out, there are restaurants nearby, so you won't have any trouble. The hotel is on the second and third floors above Daikokuya, and there are two shared toilets and showers on each floor. I never had to wait to use them. There is a kitchen on the second floor, a microwave, a stove, a refrigerator, and a server that dispenses hot and cold water, so you can put it directly into your cup noodles. There wasn't much space in the refrigerator, but there were three. There are tables and chairs, so you can eat there. There is a Little Tokyo metro station nearby, about a 5-minute walk away. At first, I was worried about the security of the subway, so I walked about 15 minutes to Union Station, but when I tried it out, there was a security guard on the platform, so I used it often after that. The waiting time depends on the time, but it's only one stop to Union Station, so it's about 5 minutes. There was a security guard even when I used it early in the morning, so I was able to use it without worry. Santa Monica is just under 50 minutes without changing trains, and Hollywood is just one change away. Anyway, if you don't mind no air conditioning and shared toilets and showers, this is a great place to stay, so it's definitely recommended. It's relatively cheap in Los Angeles, where prices are rising. It's still expensive by Japanese standards. There are many Japanese staff, and they are very friendly and have a homely feel. The building is quite old, but they cleaned it.

The morning before yesterday, there was a group of policemen downstairs. They called the front desk but no one was there because they had to check out with their luggage. Unexpectedly, there was no one at the front desk. They were all policemen. Then they climbed the stairs from the second floor. The police downstairs blocked the road and prevented parking. Why didn't the hotel tell the guests? They almost missed the plane. Later I found out that the homeless man was threatening hotel guests with a knife and was shot by the police. It was really thrilling. . .

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights (10-12 Nov) during our business trip, booking two king-bed rooms. The hotel’s location was around 1.5 miles from the downtown. The front office staff, as well as the room service team, were very friendly and attentive. They were always willing to listen to our queries and resolve them with a smile. The only issue we encountered was the lack of an in-room bottled water, dental kit and slippers, which are typically provided in hotels outside of the USA but 2 bottles of water everywhere except DoubleTree By Hilton! While we understand that this may be due to the country’s policies, it can be somewhat inconvenient for travelers who are accustomed to these amenities. Overall, we had a pleasant stay and would recommend this hotel for its excellent location and great service.

I got off the bus at Pico House after returning from Las Vegas with a tour group and walked here for 5 minutes. This is my second booking. The first time I was given a twin room that was not renovated. This time I was given a renovated new room. The room was clean and tidy, the wooden floor looked cleaner, the bed was clean and comfortable, there was heating and air conditioning, and the quilts were all blankets. The only drawback: the shower faucet is not equipped with a shower head, which is completely unreasonable. When you turn on the faucet, cold water comes out of the head, and the hot water needs to be left for a while before it is hot.

Nice location - really close to a few different metro stations plus the grand central market is right down the road so super convenient. The space outside the room smells funny but it’s okay in the room. The air conditioning is strong but loud. It’s good for its location and money.

Very helpful staff. Clean room. Decent size for 2 people. Love that the hotel is techy. Be careful of their hair dryer. It hasnt been a minute since i stared using it and it sparked. Got a replacement after 2 days but when i checked it it seemed like it has sparked before as well so opted not to use it. Location was okay. Not so many restaurants nearby.

I loved absolutely everything about this hotel , there staffs, hotel facilities, cleanliness, location, view , room, everything was just perfect, I will give it an 100% , I will definitely be staying there again and oh yes I got a free room upgrade for being an Hilton honors member

As a guest at the Westin Bonaventure, I had an incredible stay that truly exceeded my expectations. The hotel’s unique architecture is striking, and I loved the stunning views of the city from my room. The accommodations were spacious, modern, and very comfortable, making it a perfect retreat after a busy day exploring LA.  

The staff were excellent, but the added fees were ridiculous. $33 a day for resort fee PLUS $59 a day for parking your car, which adds up to a very expensive room. Nothing bad about the actual hotel or staff, just watch the added fees

Good location to travel around the city. Parking is expensive USD 63 per night. Good restaurant for meals and high level for city view! Excellent service :)
