The location of Travelodge is quite good! It’s easy to go and find the shops nearby! I can see the beautiful canal view everyday!

We were so happy with the staff at the front desk, they are really nice, as well the staff to help in the rooms, they offer you clean the room as needed and always with a friendly face. I would come back for sure !

The facility was fine although it offers little, since it has the essentials but you don't have a refrigerator.

Clean, comfortable, and affordable. Travelodge offers great value with friendly staff and convenient locations—perfect for short stays or stopovers. Would definitely book again when I’m in Loughborough area. Parking is over road at the Tesco

Comfortable stay looking over the canal, a room for 3 friends for 3 nights . helpful staff (lent me a hairdryer as forgot mine) toiletries provided if needed. Stayed there before and would again. Only negative is not much hanging space for clothes and No draws .

Basic, but clean, comfortable, quiet and affordable - perfect for a good night’s sleep. Friendly staff. Good central location.

Over priced hotel for a very small standard room that resembles student accommodation. However, the location is good for the centre of the town and surrounding area. Breakfast advertised and expensed but not a full English breakfast, just cereal and milk. Only 1 elevator working. Corridors smell of ******* smoke. Rooms need maintenance.

Rooms are clean but basic. Bed comfy. Staff friendly. Good price. No frills, but does the job. Sometimes noisy. Bring earplugs. Breakfast OK. Good for short stays. Would stay again if needed. No complaints about the hotel for the price I paid

The Loughborough Central Travelodge 2* budget hotel is situated in a modern building between the basin of the Grand Union Canal and the main road leading into town, close to the centre of the East Midlands market (and University) settlement of Loughborough, some twenty minutes on foot from the mainline railway station. The hotel shares the same, five-storey accommodation block with a gym and some student flats. The Reception area is located on the first floor, accessible either by a lift or by stairs. I stayed here for the two nights of 15th and 16th March in Room 504, which was on the canal side of the building and commanded extensive views as far as the disused coal-burning power station at Ratcliffe-on-Soar. I paid GBP 92:88 for my room plus GBP 3:00 per day for wireless internet access and GBP 6:00 per day for a cardboard "Breakfast Box" which contained Corn Flakes, Semi-Skimmed Milk, a Flapjack and a Pain au Chocolate Roll, plus a small bottle of mineral water, because this hotel lacks a Restaurant. My room was large, clean and comfortable, with a king-sized bed and a wet room containing a washbasin, toilet and shower. There was a place with coathangers to store shirts and trousers, but nothing resembling a chest-of-drawers, whilst the work station (where the electric kettle and china mugs were located) was slightly on the small side, and the plastic chairs resembled those found in a school canteen. There was plenty of hot water with which to shower each morning and the pressure and temperature of the water were easily adjusted. Guests get thirty minutes of free wi-fi access per day for up to two connected devices. The download and upload speeds, and the latency, were 1.0 Mbps, 0.7 Mbps and 80 ms respectively. The rooms lack air conditioning but the window can be opened and an electric heater and fan were provided. The ladies at the Reception desk were always friendly and helpful. For anyone wanting a cooked breakfast or evening meal there is a J. D. Wetherspoon chain pub (called "The Amber Rooms") a five-minute walk away, across the main road, and there is a large Tesco supermarket adjacent to it. I've stayed here before and would certainly stay here again. Not owning a car (or, indeed, a boat!) I cannot comment on the availability of parking places.

What a really pleasant surprise. This is a great place to stay, excellent location, really nice rooms. The staff were amazing, and really helpful and welcoming. I would particularly like to highlight Tyler at reception, who went over and above in terms of service. I would highly recommend, thank you and see you again.
