Moshanghua Boutique Hotel (Zhangjiajie National Forest Park) Reviews

It was ok! The room was big and comfortable, in a good location (the town is pretty small anyways). But I would have expected some cleaning in the room, since we stayed for several days and from the third day the bin started to be full.

My friend and I had separate rooms and stayed for three nights. The location is great and there is a restaurant downstairs, you are also allowed to order food to your room so this was all great. I do think the hotel could improve on a few things - the room was not cleaned at all during our stay and on the second day when we requested it to be cleaned, only our bins were emptied but beds weren’t made/towels weren’t changed/water and toilet paper wasn’t restocked etc so it seems it was simply emptying the trash. Under the beds was very dusty, so the rooms could probably do with a deep clean as well. Overall it was fine, but I have paid a similar price for a better experience so it could be improved.

Friendly lady owner. even allowed us to checked in at 8am. near to food streets. Big spacious room. recommended.

Water wasn't free here although the boss was very good and helpled us in deciding where to visit, it is extremely close to national forest park, would suggest

Very very big and nice room. 12 min walk from wulingyuan Bus station and 20min walk from Zhangjiajie east enterance tickets. Night Food street is just at the back of hotel.

In most countries the term „boutique hotel“ refers to something that’s extraordinary and exquisite. We didn’t expect that when we booked, but the rooms looked cozy and comfortable on the photos. However, our stay there wasn’t very pleasant. The reception and the stairs were a bit messy, the elevator dirty. The rooms were not very tidy as well, so we didn’t feel very comfortable. The bathroom looks like it’s still under construction and has never been finished. I know that it’s not a very expensive hotel and we can’t expect something premium for the price, but at the same time it’s not cheap either, and in the same price range most hotels here in China are much much better. On our trip this was one of the worst hotels unfortunately.

Owners are friendly and helpful but the cleanliness needs improvement.

Madame was very kind and helped us book ticket of attraction. Cleanliness was not good. After taking shower one time, room was wetting.

The location is very good, close to Wuling main street and next to the vegetable market. The housekeeper is also very friendly. However, hygiene needs to be improved. The bath towel in the room was yellow, I guess I forgot to change it.

It’s really great to be able to book a B&B with such a high cost performance during the May Day holiday. Transportation is also convenient

The service at this hotel is really great! The boss and staff are very friendly and helpful. They helped me, a foreign tourist, solve practical difficulties in a timely and effective manner. The room was clean and comfortable, the bed was very comfortable, and it gave me a pleasant travel experience. The location of the hotel is very convenient. There are many supermarkets and restaurants around to choose from. Food, shopping, and transportation are very convenient. There are three bus stations nearby, which is very convenient for traveling.

The price is set too high. It costs about 100 yuan, but the sanitation is poor, the sound insulation effect is poor, the bathroom smells bad, and the shower head is broken. Really convinced. I wonder how the price of more than 400 is worth it. What a surprise

The sound insulation effect is not good, all I hear in the morning is footsteps.
