"English: WE stayed at this hotel from 7 to 10 October and would like to share our experience. The HOTEL is about 15 minutes from the Sanctuary, a convenient location, but not very convenient, especially if you need to return to the hotel in the afternoon to rest. HALL and reception: new, clean and renovated. Rooms: not exceptional. THERE IS NO sense of deep cleanliness, however the towels were changed every day. The hairdryer did not always work, only soap bars for the sink and a dispenser for shower gel (in our case broken and never fixed - we made do with our soap samples brought from home). In my case, the beds were quite clean, but other friends in the group told me that the sheets were stained. I would say that the cleanliness of the rooms should be improved. Breakfast: simple, but very well stocked. Good and plentiful for what you pay with fresh fruit, fruit in syrup, cold cuts, sandwich bread, croissants, hard-boiled eggs and Madeleines. The biggest compliments go to the director PASCALE and Veronique, who were very kind, helpful, smiling and so, so nice to satisfy all our requests. I don't know if I'll go back, but only because I'd prefer to find something closer. The breakfast guy was also very good. Well done everyone! Congratulations and may the Madonna bless you ♥️"

"Excellent base to go to the sanctuary. A 5-minute walk, along the river Gave and via 'the souvenir-shop streets' Were warmly welcomed by Christine who really does her best 24/7 to please the guests. Clean rooms. Sufficient towels. We had full board. That is eating at set times with a fixed meal (no choice, just what is on the table...) We had someone with us who was dependent on care and a wheelchair. The special 3-person/disabled room was the only suitable room for this. Other rooms are too small to wash/change/turn people in bed (changing position)"

"The hotel is just opposite the train station. The hotel is in an old building with a restaurant and luxurious decoration. The rooms are European style, the same as other BW series. The room has a balcony with a view of the snow-capped mountains and the church in Lourdes. It takes 15 minutes to walk from the hotel to the Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary, and 10 minutes to walk to the town center, but there is a slope."

"We travelled as a couple with the intention of immersing ourselves in the Spiritual experience of Lourdes . This we definitely did . And we were helped by staying at Hotel Sainte-Rose . Its location is perfect , just a hundred metres or so from the entrance to the Sanctuary . Our room was large and comfortable and the cleaning staff were friendly and thorough . The friendliness of the staff was a feature of our visit . We had breakfast and our evening meal at the hotel . It is a buffet service for all meals . The food was wholesome and plentiful and there lots of catering staff on duty whenever we had our meals ."

"Despite some reservations based on online reviews, I stayed for six nights with breakfast and dinner included. I couldn't believe it; it was cheaper than a Western European hotel without meals, and it included two meals a day. The carpet in the room was worn out, perhaps because they spent too much money on renovating the stairs, but the bed, shower, toilet, daily cleaning, and Wi-Fi were all fine. The breakfast, with its unchanging menu, was edible. Dinner was a three-course meal with a different menu each day. The cheerful Freddie at the front desk was busy working in the restaurant as well. It's doing remarkably well in an area where many hotels are closing due to fierce competition."

"I stayed for three nights in a room with an extremely cramped bathroom: the toilet took up practically one square meter, while the sink and shower were in a separate cubicle. In Italy, such a setup may not comply with health and hygiene regulations, as private bathrooms in accommodations must have a minimum surface area of 2-3 square meters, depending on the classification. Cleanliness was adequate, but not impeccable; the buffet meals were disappointing, with limited selection and dishes that weren't particularly appetizing, though not inedible. Pros: Central, convenient location, and close to the place of worship. Cons: The four-star rating seems excessive: the hotel should revise its rating to reflect the reality of the experience. Overall, a mediocre stay, more suited to a 2-3 star hotel. I recommend improving the bathrooms and buffet to justify the 4-star rating."

"The best was its location to the Sanctuary of Lourdes ant its closeness to shops & restaurants. The room was a huge size for 2. Bed was comfortable, carpet needs freshen up with shampoo. Toilet was roomy very clean. Worst - was no early check in consideration since there were no other customers checking in from 1200-1500h. Other five stars hotels were far more considerate in my experience. I just sat on the sofa, very unwelcoming reception. When you wanted to update on the news or watch drama no English channel. Hotels should cater to costumers needs not personalized for a country. Very frustrating. I might still recommend this place. There’s always a way for improvement."
