Basically , it was a standard European hotel. The hotel is located a bit far from most of the attractions but close the airport too. So it was more like somewhere between the centre and the airport. The service was just fair and standard. Not so welcoming nor rude. The room was alright but not outstanding. The double bed was made of two single beds. So that might be a point to consider if you care about it.
Thereâs Carrefour Express just 3 min walk away, and you can get everything you might need for your stay. Thereâs no any amenities except shampoo and shower gel.
This hotel is an excellent choiceâclean and conveniently located next to a train station. Itâs not far from the Real Madrid stadium and is also very close to the airport and convention centre.
Weâre in the heart of Azca financial district surrounded by restaurants and shops and just a five-minute walk from Real Madrid Santiago Bernabeu Stadium and Paseo de la Castellana. Experience urban gastronomy at Canopy Central or the vibrant Food Truck on our outdoor terrace. A rooftop pool, fully equipped gym and evening tastings complete your stay.

Overall a very average hotel. The service is also quite unique. We can speak Spanish. Whether on the phone or at the front desk, the staff insisted on using English during many communications. The most embarrassing thing is that as a service industry, its laundry room only exists from Monday to Thursday. When I go on Fridays and weekends, I can only go outside to find the laundry room. And there is never any mention of laundry among the services provided on the hotel's website! I highly doubt they are deceiving consumers.

The hotel is about 15 minutes from the international airport by taxi. It's about 15 minutes by taxi from the train station. There is a subway station nearby within a 3-minute walk. Very convenient. There are only six stations to take the metro to the palace. ïżŒThe hotel room is very spacious and clean, and there is a sofa bed, which is enough for a family to share a room. ïżŒ

The hotel is in a great location, close to the Prado Museum, the Royal Palace of Madrid, and the city center. We basically walked to all the attractions in the city, and it is not far from the train station. We walked around the city center on the day we arrived, and just walked to the Retiro Park, watched the sunset, and walked back to the hotel. There are also many places to eat near the hotel. When we first checked in, we were given a warm cookie, which was so heartwarming. There is an ironing board and iron in the room, which is very considerate. We used it. Other hotels we stayed in during the trip really didn't have irons and ironing boards. Shower gel, shampoo, body lotion, and hand soap are all British Crabtree and Evelyn, which smells good. The room we stayed in is relatively large and soundproof. There are a few breakfast varieties, but the waiter asked us what we wanted to drink on the first day, tea or coffee. He remembered our preferences on the second day. The receptionist at the front desk was very polite. He greeted us with a smile every time we entered and exited. This enthusiasm was particularly contagious. On the first day of arrival, the gentleman at the front desk was very considerate and gave us a map and told us the approximate walking distance, time, and popular attractions. We had a very pleasant 2 days!

TTraveler 123Amazing location!
The Hotel Palace Madrid is a historic and luxurious hotel located in the heart of the city. The building dates back to 1912 and has been beautifully restored to its former glory. From the moment you step through the grand entrance, you're transported to a world of elegance and sophistication.
The hotel's location is perfect for exploring Madrid. It's within walking distance of many of the city's most popular attractions, including the Prado Museum, the Royal Palace, and the Gran Via. The hotel is also close to several Metro stations, making it easy to travel further afield.
The service at the Hotel Palace Madrid is exceptional. The staff are friendly, helpful, and always on hand to assist with anything you need. From the moment you arrive, you're made to feel like a valued guest, and the service only gets better from there.
The rooms at the hotel are spacious, beautifully decorated, and filled with natural light. They're equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay, including a large, comfortable bed, a flat-screen TV, and a luxurious bathroom. The attention to detail is impressive, with little touches like fresh flowers and complimentary water bottles adding to the overall experience.
One of the highlights of staying at the Hotel Palace Madrid is dining at one of the hotel's restaurants. The hotel has several dining options, including the Michelin-starred Restaurant La Terraza del ******, which serves innovative and delicious cuisine. The hotel also has a beautiful bar, which is the perfect place to relax and enjoy a cocktail after a day of exploring the city.
The hotel's facilities are excellent. There's a fully equipped gym, a spa, and a rooftop terrace with stunning views of the city. The hotel also has several meeting and event spaces, making it an ideal choice for business travelers.
Overall, the Hotel Palace Madrid is a truly exceptional hotel. From its beautiful architecture and elegant decor to its exceptional service and prime location, everything about this hotel is top-notch. If you're looking for a luxurious and unforgettable stay in Madrid, I highly recommend the Hotel Palace Madrid.
TTraveler 123recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Palacio de los Duques in Madrid, and I must say that it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. From the moment I entered the magnificent palace-like building, I was captivated by the grandeur and elegance that surrounded me.
The hotel's location in the heart of Madrid's historic center is perfect for exploring the city's attractions. Many iconic landmarks, such as the Royal Palace and Plaza Mayor, are within walking distance, making it convenient for sightseeing enthusiasts like me.
The staff at Palacio de los Duques Madrid truly went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction throughout my stay. From the warm welcome at check-in to the attentive service provided by the concierge, every interaction was marked by genuine hospitality and professionalism.
The room I stayed in was beautifully appointed and exuded a sense of luxury. The elegant decor, comfortable furnishings, and modern amenities created a perfect sanctuary after a day of exploring the city. The attention to detail was impeccable, and I appreciated the little touches that enhanced my stay, such as the plush bathrobes and high-quality toiletries.
One of the highlights of my stay was the hotel's stunning rooftop terrace. Offering panoramic views of Madrid's skyline, it provided a breathtaking backdrop for enjoying a drink or simply unwinding while taking in the city's beauty. The on-site restaurant also surpassed my expectations with its delectable cuisine, showcasing a fusion of traditional and contemporary flavors.
Hotel Palacio de los Duques Madrid seamlessly blends historical charm with modern luxury. The preservation of the building's architectural heritage, combined with the impeccable service and attention to detail, creates an unforgettable experience.

Whether you are visiting for business or leisure, I highly recommend this hotel for an unforgettable stay in the vibrant capital city of Spain.
RRafaelSaavedraThe hotel was nice. The location was perfect and the hotel feels modern and new. The staff was friendly. My favorite part was enjoying the rooftop, the hotel guests have priority to enter since it has become a landmark in Madrid. I would stay again here
GGuest User2 nights there. Very nice checking, eye-contact, body language, speech, correct approaching and fast. I felt welcome.
The hotel: I loved the kind like dark-atmosphere, it's not a sun-like bright hotel, it's elegant and classic. Don't expect cheap Chinese LEDs ON every corner. Furniture and colors are very inviting to a relaxed state of mind. The room was big enough, classical furniture, 2 comfy armchairs, heavy and blocking light curtains do the job. Bed, quite comfy and big. Wrong pillows. I would have enjoyed more if a 3rd (extra) bed wasn't there. Is the idea to make me feel more lonely? :-) Reception made a cock-up. I'm single traveler, I booked for 2. I didn't bother to ask to remove Soundproofing: once you step out of the lift: no echo on large aisle. Carpets floors all over, solid furniture plus all the surrounding trees makes the trick. Once inside the room: you hear next door people having a conversation, doors opening. Seriously! It really sucks! I went ill, upset stomach and I didn't felt relaxed to use the closed as much as needed. On the other hand: the adults games? How to manage it? Mute on?
Parking is super. It's approved even for those with only 2 remaining points on theirs driving license. :-)
I would come back as a single traveler.
My greetings to the cleaning staff. Good job. Thank you.
GGuest UserThere are four stages in the journey, and I am now on the third stage. Madrid is the second stage.
This hotel is the best one among the three stages so far!!
The room is very clean and spacious. There is a safe and a refrigerator.
The toilet is separated into wet and dry areas. There is a circle of mirrors in the toilet, which makes it convenient for me and my friend to move separately. While she washes, I can also put on makeup. There are hand soap/shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, and body lotion.
Free water every day!! Super considerate.
The service is also very nice. There is a restaurant on the 0th floor. Those who push large luggage can enter from the side door of the restaurant. There are only steps at the hotel entrance.
There is a bus stop and a subway station next to the hotel, so the transportation is relatively convenient. You can walk to Retiro Park in the morning. You can also pass by two large supermarkets on the way.
DDr. T The TravelerTo start my review I will point out the positive things which were unfortunately not that many.
The hotel is well located to most everything in Madrid via Metro or walking distance to all restaurants and shopping wishing the center of town. Great foodie destinations and shopping are close by, and thatâs where the positive comments will stop.
Upon checking in the first signs of poor service were obviously there. They mentioned that because I booked via the âAppâ Trip.com or other then we would not be considered like others who booked via their own site or preferred partners.
The room was on the first floor and next to the housekeeper room which was non-stop and especially first thing early morning was my alarm clock at 7am everyday whilst on my vacation, so clearly not a a good thing.
Second and another very important issue was the A/C which didnât work correctly and was making noise, the room was warm and humid the whole time, I mentioned to the reception within 10min of checking in, 4 nights and nothing was done to improve or correct this issue.
Any request or comment was never taken in a professional, responsible or respectful way. As I was on a well deserved vacation I didnât want to get angry and cause more stress to myself, but I was clear that I would not let this pass without commenting on it.
The breakfast was good, clean but very limited in regards to selection. When requesting your eggs as they mentioned at each table the request was always ignored and just whatever was available even cold eggs as times were sent out. I had to request each day that my eggs were to be prepared soft/runny and they usually brought out cold m, dry and overcooked. So they would give me a look when I asked to please prepare as requested and then after some time they would come back with the order as mentioned.
Over all it was an effort that I donât need or want at each stage of the interaction with staff and the facility.
I will stick to my usual Usual choice which is Bonvoy group of hotels next time.
YYen NiI had a fantastic time at Hard Rock Hotel Madrid! The room was spacious, stylish, and super comfortable, with a great shower and a music-themed design. The food was delicious, especially the breakfast buffet. The hotelâs location is perfect. It is close to popular attractions and the metro station nearby makes getting around easy. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the whole experience was fun and relaxing. Iâd definitely stay here again!
GGuest UserGreat location, very nice breakfast, there is also a Starbucks right outside the enterance which is nice. Literally a two minute walk to Gran Via street where you can find anything you could possibly need. The staff was polite, the rooms were clean and very quiet at least on the 5th floor :) Overall would recommend and come back again. Gracias Madrid!
AAnonymous UserThe service attitude of the hotel is relatively good, and the breakfast is rich. There is another large Chamartin Hotel next to it, so be careful not to go wrong.
The hotel is relatively old and there is a wasteland next to it. It is not very comfortable to stay.
SSmitI stayed at Boutique Urban Madrid Serrano for week while looking for an apartment in Madrid. The room was simple and basic with everything I needed. There were some small things I noticed such as the towels looked dirty. It would also have been nice to have a dishcloth with a little bit of soap as there are some glasses and plates available in the cupboards but no way to wash them. These are just small things I've noticed, but overall my stay was very good and the staff was very friendly.
