This hotels location is perfect literally minutes away from the masjid al-haram. There is a special floor (C1) that leads you to the haram. The hotel is very clean and breakfast is open buffet which top notch!

Nothing much to say except this is definitely what you call a 5 star. Everything from smooth check in to check out was perfect. Location very good to haram. Top hotel restaurant/buffet. So much options on food. The whole hotel looks great also, massive lobby. Service was quality from front of house to all porters/cleaners/chefs.
And beautiful masjid built in hotel. Highly recommend, might be little pricey but honestly you’ll 100% get your moneys worth, especially for umrah/hajj. I was there last few days of ramadan and eid, thinking because of how busy it will be during this period, might not get a good service or late check in etc. but totally opposite. It was worth every penny. Im originally from uk so expecting quality for the price i paid. Definitely all paid off.

Amazing stay with Jumeirah jabbal omar not only the place super new, the facilities and foods are amazing..
My 12 days stay at Jumeira Jabal Omar in Makkah was exceptional. The room service by Rovel was outstanding—efficient and thoughtful—and the reception staff went above and beyond by assisting with baggage and even offering change for my taxi fare without prompting. The hotel exemplifies luxury, comfort, and impeccable attention to detail. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking an extraordinary hospitality experience in Makkah

Staying here during ramadhan was a perfect place MaasyaaAllah. Private lift from jabal omar mall and directly to our room.
Female prayer room is next to the restaurant.
We prayed magrib at hotel prayer room, and break the iftar in the resto next to prayer room. Because the location and its fast services.. we still able to catch Isya prayer inside masjidil haram.
The hotel location is nearby haram main gate and also good access of we want to haram new extension.

Plus - Near to haram, cleanliness, new furnishing, very good room size.
Negative - slow check in, believe a small fridge or oven is always helpful but it was not there in the room.

This hotel is next level unreal! The pictures of the rooms don't do it justice, it's way better in reality (at least in my case). We booked three rooms for 5 nights in Jan/ Feb 2025, were located in tower 3 - Al Falak Tower in rooms 708/ 6**/6**. The bathrooms were unbelievable, all stunning white marble with some super fancy design, so so amazing, the shower was so big you could fit like 7 people in there, I have never stayed in such a luxury room before. Ceilings are like 4 metres, really unbelievable. The colour palette for the room was muted greys and pastels, it looked very nice, suited the room and location. One thing that would be useful, can the hotel just install a Japanese bidet instead of a separate one, I think it's a waste installing a standalone bidet and the all-in-one bidet toilet is current technology, so it would be useful compared to the current setup (Toto toilet, etc).
Now, the sad bit. The distance from the Haram is advertised as not far, and it isn't. But the reality is it's extremely difficult to enter the haram, because of the crowds, it is just heaving. The police close off the haram to outsiders as soon as the adhaan goes, so you can't enter (be aware), and you'll have to pray outside the boundaries of the haram if you are not inside the area before the adhaan (this may be subject to change, and I cannot confirm how they arrange their opening times etc, please confirm on your own travels).
Inside the haram, there is ridiculous construction work going on, all entrances are purposefully blocked, so that huge traffic builds up (I remember 10 years ago in 2014 when I stayed at Bai Al Abraaj, you could just walk into the Ma3taf area of the haram in about 5 minutes, now it is impossible. ). I have no idea what the government is doing, but it seems to intentionally be closing off areas to stop people from entering, which is really a shame. It seems that the purpose is that you rather go to all the shops and malls outside the mall, or pray inside your hotel rather than venture out, this seems the goal of the current administration by closing off all entrances, or causing huge areas to be cordoned off so that getting in easily is impossible. I got so sick of the crowds that i ended up not wanting to go into the haram afterwards (the crowds inside are really next level crazy, they will push and drive wheelchairs up your legs and cut you - happened to me but maybe I was just unlucky).
The hotel is exceptional and so is the buffet breakfast/ dinner - breakfast is between 90 - 119riyals, and dinner is about 149 riyals. Food is amazing, but it's sad that most people pile their plates with croissants etc, don't take a bite and throw it away, such a shame. I hope the hotel can have signs up to prevent such ridiculous wastage, or at least give this food to the outside poor people.

Close to haram, nice and clean, friendly staff, variety of good food, however it's sad seeing a lot of visitors fill up their plates and can't finish it, resulting in a lot of wastage.

We spent a week at Jumeirah and were thoroughly impressed. The hotel is absolutely stunning. Although I had read some reviews mentioning negative staff attitudes, I’m so glad I didn’t let that deter me. Booking here turned out to be an excellent decision, and we had a truly enjoyable stay.
The staff went above and beyond my expectations. One instance stood out when my little boy wandered off in the hotel. A kind staff member not only ensured his safety but also kept him entertained with games and conversation. At the front desk, Danya was an absolute gem. Having stayed at many major hotel chains before, I can confidently say Danya is one of the most unforgettable individuals I’ve encountered. Her warmth, kindness, and dedication to ensuring my stay with my children was comfortable and enjoyable truly touched my heart. Her service is exceptional and deserves special recognition.
Additionally, the housekeeping staff from Indonesia who works on level 2, was incredibly efficient and meticulous. He cleaned thoroughly, quickly, and always with the utmost respect.
Well done, Jumeirah Makkah team! You’ve truly outdone yourselves! I pray that Allah will
invite us cos I can’t wait to return🙂

The location is amazing. We were overall satisfied but had better experiences with the same hotel in previous trips. They need to focus on managing the newly opened towers and provide better care to the porter service>
I have to say that their breakfast content and service is the best.
