For the safety of your life and property, please stay away from this hotel! At 12:30 in the morning, when we were fast asleep, someone directly used the room key to swipe the door of our room. After finding that the safety lock was locked, he still refused to give up and violently tried to open the door 30-40 times. It was very, very scary! I almost thought there was going to be a murder! ! ! We immediately called the hotel, and the man who answered the phone was unapologetic and said that the front desk had not checked us into the system, so a room check was needed. His argument is totally untenable: First, the front desk forgot to register. What kind of weird behavior is this? The other party's explanation was "this could happen, this happens when you are busy." Secondly, there is our reservation information in the hotel system. If you want to confirm whether the room is occupied, why don't you call us first, but check the room in the middle of the night while the person is asleep? Third, to take a step back, if you really want to check the room, shouldn't you knock on the door and ask? Why do you just rush to the door? We ended up pushing the table against the door and didn't sleep well all night. I went to the front desk to inquire the next day, but the other party still couldn't give a reasonable explanation, and his attitude was still very bad. He repeated "What do you want" and "I don't have food here, how can I compensate you" many times. It was clearly the party at fault, but he treated the guest like a beggar! Finally, the room itself, the room is old, the facilities are average, a few hangers cannot even be removed, and the shower water pressure is insufficient. Again, I strongly recommend everyone to avoid this hotel! !

My stay at the hotel was marred by the presence of ants in the room. Despite notifying the staff, the issue was not promptly addressed, affecting the overall comfort of the stay. Everything else was ok, the site and pool were wonderful and the staff were generally good. It was just a shame that we experienced this ant problem, as they got into everything, our food, our bed, our toothpaste even our luggage and clothing.

The service attitude is very good and the hotel's swimming pool is very nice.

Lovely hotel. Good welcome on arrival. Amazing pools. Only negative is that it is quite out of the way (which we knew when we booked) and next to a busy road (so some road noise). Overall a great value stay.

Very good stay

Rooms were clean and welcoming. Very quiet area especially on New Year’s Eve which was the night we stayed. Pool was lovely and staff was very helpful.

The Palm Royale was a nice stay, the room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The pool was huge and really nice. My only issue was that the A/C could not be adjusted / it was either off or on, the temperature couldn’t be controlled, and it was loud. I got too cold in the night with it on but then got too warm when I turned it off. Otherwise, it was a very good stay, and great value. (Tip: eat breakfast at “63”, a cafe within walking distance. It’s excellent.)

10 min drive to the city centre and not much available ard the hotel area except a small mall with some resto and a supermarket Things are clean and new, overall a good choice

Had a 2day stay there. Room was quiet comfortable. It is a bit far from Esplanade and Lagoon. Takes us nearly 20mins and 16AU$ by Uber.
