Let's start by saying that Podere San Lorenzo is nothing short of a wonderful place and I am sincerely sorry to have to write this review. At the end of our stay, the owner asks us for €50 in cash for cleaning with "specific trea**ents" a stain on the stone floor outside our outbuilding, according to her appearance 4 days earlier (she could have told us at the time... we frankly, it still does not appear to have caused it). Not having achieved the expected result, the lady calls her husband. I would like to quote some sentences spoken by the owner in extremely heated tones: "Either you give us the money or clean up or we call the carabinieri" "We have cameras everywhere" "In the morning with the excuse of watering, I always come to check". Offended at how they made us feel about a simple stain we didn't even know we had caused, we attempted to explain to them that we would have paid more attention to the flooring or cleaned if only they had warned us. And that if there was any way to clean at the moment, we would have gladly helped them. Short cut: The "specific trea**ents" consisted of sandpaper and a steel putty knife. The floor was cleaned in about four minutes (I cleaned it myself) - not bad for €50 right? Advice: next time, point out in advance the attention that outdoor flooring needs, rather than trying to earn €50 for a 4-minute job - I repeat - with sandpaper and a trivial spatula.
