Heritance Kandalama ★★★★★
"Wake up to Monkeys on the balcony! 🤣🤣🤣 natural and incredibly beautiful hotel. Highly recommended for families."
The Paradise Dambulla ★★★★★
"This hotel is just beautiful. Paradise in the trees. A great clean pool. The staff are so friendly, welcoming and couldn’t do enough to help. Food changed daily and plenty to pick from. Rooms clean, comfy and air conditioning brilliant. Will miss it. Absolutely would love to return and recommend 100%."
Ayugiri Ayurveda Wellness Resort Sigiriya ★★★★
"I recently stayed at Ayugiri Wellness Resort in Sigiriya and I truly had a wonderful experience. From the day I arrived, I felt calm and relaxed. The resort is surrounded by nature, trees and fresh air. It is very quiet and peaceful, which makes it perfect for anyone who wants to take a break from busy life. The staff were very kind and welcoming. They always smiled and spoke politely. If I needed anything, they were happy to help. Their friendly service made my stay even more comfortable. Yoga Experience The yoga sessions were my favorite part of the stay. The yoga area is open and beautiful, surrounded by greenery. Doing yoga while hearing birds and feeling the natural breeze was very special. The instructors were patient and clear when explaining the poses. They helped everyone according to their level, so even beginners can feel comfortable. After each session, I felt relaxed, fresh, and peaceful in my mind. Room My villa was very clean and spacious. The design was simple but elegant. The bed was comfortable, and the room had everything I needed. I loved waking up and seeing the green views outside. It felt very private and calm. Food and Restaurant The restaurant experience was also very good. The dining area is peaceful and nicely arranged. Eating in such a quiet and natural environment made every meal enjoyable. The food was fresh and healthy. You can feel that the ingredients are good quality and carefully chosen. Breakfast had fresh fruits, herbal drinks, and light but filling dishes. Lunch and dinner had healthy meals with nice flavors. The Sri Lankan dishes were especially tasty, but still not too heavy. I also enjoyed the drinks very much. The fresh juices and herbal teas were refreshing and perfect for the wellness atmosphere. Everything felt clean, natural, and good for the body. The restaurant staff were attentive and friendly, always ready to suggest something or explain the menu. Treatments I tried the Ayurvedic treatments and they were very relaxing. The therapists were professional and made sure I was comfortable. After the treatment, I felt lighter and less stressed. “””””””””””” Ayugiri is not just a hotel, it is a place where you can truly relax and feel better♥️. I left feeling refreshed, happy and peaceful. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants rest, yoga, healthy food, and good service. I hope to visit again soon🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻♥️"
Nelinsa Wellness Resort & Spa ★★★
"We went out for lunch and drinks, and the service at Madhu was exceptionally friendly and inviting. We chose to sit by the pool, where the view was simply magnificent. The ambience was ideal for unwinding and taking in the beautiful surroundings. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to enjoy a stunning landscape, take a swim, and experience a sunset 🌇. "
Araliya Self Cooking Resort Dambulla ★★
"They were so kind. When we arrived, it was raining and very cold, but the owner welcomed us with an umbrella and recommended that we take a shower in Daiki, which helped us to relax. They also kindly consulted with us about our next plans, and prepared a wonderful lunch set for us, even though we were only staying overnight. The tea set, which is unique to the highlands, was also delicious, and we are very grateful. Thank you very much."
Amaya Lake Dambulla ★★★★★
"The environment is really nice, the facilities are old and not very clean. The service is OK. There are 2 swimming pools, and I recommend the one inside the hotel. There are little monkeys, squirrels, and little lizards. The food is average, but the price is OK."
Clodagh Manor House by Seven Angels ★★★
"The Seven Angle Matale Hotel is truly a gem, beautifully blending rich cultural charm with modern elegance. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by its stunning architecture and décor that reflect both tradition and contemporary style in perfect harmony. The food was absolutely delicious every dish felt like a cultural journey, prepared with authentic flavors and great attention to detail. I enjoyed every bite! The staff were incredibly warm and friendly, making me feel welcome and cared for throughout my stay. Their hospitality added so much to the experience. And the view simply breathtaking! Whether it was sunrise or sunset, the scenery from the hotel was unforgettable. I loved everything about this hotel and can’t wait to visit again. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a perfect mix of culture, comfort, and outstanding service."
Yashi's Place Sigiriya ★★★
"Noce homestay and lovely people"
Sigiriya Village ★★★★★
"It has a colonial feel and is a bit dated. But the location is fantastic, practically in the middle of a forest. There are many monkeys and other animals roaming around. Rooms are large. Food quality is on par for Sri Lanka. The staff are excellent, knowledgeable of attractions and helpfull arranging tours and taxis."

Jetwing Vil Uyana, A Luxury Reserve
"Stayed here for three nights on a trip around Sri Lanka. Very interesting place, impeccable service. Lakshan looked after us and was excellent - very helpful and tended to magically pop up every time we needed something."
Sigiriya Forest Edge By Marino Leisure
"Facilities: New Service: Very friendly Meals: Delicious"
SigiriyaJungles Resort & Spa
"The hotel is so original. You can even see frogs in the room. If you are afraid of bugs, be careful. I am a bit afraid of bugs anyway. The location is relatively deep. There is no place to eat around, so you can only eat at the hotel buffet."
Liyya Water Villas
"First, this hotel is in a very remote location, with nothing nearby, making it difficult to get around. Secondly, the hotel's design clearly shows a lot of effort, but it's not well maintained. We were moved four rooms in one day. Within 10 minutes of checking in, they told us there was a plumbing problem. After a long wait, they moved us to a different room type. After checking in, we still had no water. In the third room, large bugs kept dropping onto the bed and onto our bodies throughout the night, which was terrifying. We finally got our final room cleaned and changed after 10 PM. We finally got some sleep, but the next morning, the stationary hair dryer was broken again! We had our laundry done, and they told us we didn't need to iron it, only wash it. But when we checked out, they still charged us for the ironing! Luckily, my husband had texted them about our request via What's Up, and they were able to get rid of the extra charge. This completely delayed our plans for the better part of a day!"
Kassapa Lion's Rock
"The hot water was gone after the first shower, and the rest were at room temperature. Each room is an independent little house, so you don't have to worry about disturbing others. The greenery is very good with many trees. The buffet dinner is too ordinary, and no free drinks or water are provided. The breakfast is a surprise in comparison."
Hotel Sigiriyaaya - Jetwing Select
"A wonderful hotel in a quiet location among rice fields. Peacocks and the sounds of the jungle. If you love nature and solitude, this is perfect! Just remember that there's no "civilization" right next door. The rooms are nice, clean, and comfortable. The reception is very warm. The breakfast and dinner were delicious! Thanks to all the hotel staff. Most importantly for those traveling by car, the road Google defaults to on the lake side is bad, full of potholes; we barely made it. The road on the other side, while rough, is much better. I've attached a map in the photo."
Hotel Sigiriya
"Good hotel with excellent service! We stayed for a couple of days. The view from the pool is amazing! 🔥"
Elephas Resort & Spa
"We had a truly wonderful experience at Elphas Resort! The rooms are very spacious, spotless, and beautifully maintained. The pool is absolutely fantastic , perfect for relaxing after a day of adventure. The entire team is exceptionally professional, friendly, and always ready to go the extra mile to make your stay special. The “to-go” breakfast was amazing — such a thoughtful touch for early excursions! A special thanks to the front manager, Mr :De Costa , whose kindness and attention made our stay unforgettable. Thanks to his great tips and connections, we enjoyed incredible experiences — from bathing elephants to an amazing safari. We couldn’t recommend Elphas Resort more highly , it’s a place where comfort, adventure, and genuine hospitality come together perfectly!"
Pelwehera Village Resort
"Lovely stay for two nights while exploring the historical sites i and around Dambulla. Was treated really nice by Gamini and his crew: Eardly, Dool and Bagya."
Fresco Water Villa by Oak Ray
"The room is old and the sound insulation is not very good. The waiter was very enthusiastic and friendly, and gave juice when he arrived at the store. But they checked on Ctrip for almost half an hour before they found our check-in information."
Sigiriana Resort by Thilanka
"Good location with ample space for recreational activities. Even they have a big ground for playing cricket , volleyball.. Very friendly staff and decent buffet. Recommended"
Arangala Forest Lodge
"Good and peaceful place. nature loves are welcome.good and friendly staff i love arangala resort ♥️♥️ very calm and quiet place✨♥️"
Eden Grand
"It's a little far from the city center, about 100 meters from the main road. I was using Google Maps to get there, but I took a wrong turn and had to ask a local for directions. Looking again, there's a hotel sign on a utility pole at the corner, so please refer to that. In terms of facilities, it's equipped with a kettle, refrigerator, hairdryer, and air conditioner, and the TV has good picture quality. Coffee, tea, and two bottles of water are also provided, making it well worth the price. (It's probably a new building, so there are few gaps, and hardly any flies or ants got in.) As for the food, breakfast is a mix of Sri Lankan and English style, with good taste and quantity. Combined with the facilities, it offers better value than other hotels in the same price range, so I recommend it. The owner's family was also very kind. ka"
Amron Resort Sigiriya
"A month at this hotel was a true fairy tale for us! We felt right at home thanks to the incredibly friendly and kind family who took care of us from the very first moment. They were also ready to help with literally everything! When we mentioned that we wanted to cook for ourselves and were looking for accommodation with a kitchen, they simply... built us a kitchen! It was incredible! We couldn't imagine that people could be so responsive. We were often treated to incredibly delicious, generous meals. Breakfasts are a special treat here: always plenty of food, fresh ingredients, and everything is incredibly delicious. You can also rent their bicycles to explore the amazing Sigiriya. It was amazing! Riding along picturesque trails amidst the wild nature was a dream! Even within the hotel grounds, you can feel a connection with nature: colorful birds sing their melodies, squirrels dart through the palm trees, and monitor lizards leisurely wander through the bushes – true harmony with nature. We left with a heavy heart, as this place became our home for a whole month. We recommend it to anyone seeking warm hospitality, comfort, and a connection with nature. Don't hesitate – this hotel is definitely worth your consideration!"
Oak Ray Elephant Lake
"We stayed for one night. The hotel is nice, the room is big and clean. The pool was nice but in our case it was very windy and it's surrounded by trees so the water had a lot of leaves. But we still decided to go in. The lobby had a free table tennis plate and everyone was very friendly. For our feeling the food (dinner/breakfast) was expensive as there are not much options around but just a few hundred meters away is a fantastic Sri Lankan restaurant called Mr. Monkey."
Serenity Sigiri Resort
"The owner was incredibly kind. He took me on a safari, where I saw so many wild animals. He also helped with transportation to and from Sigiriya Rock. The location is very close to Sigiriya Rock, which made it convenient for me to get up early the next day to climb it. His daughter was also adorable; after we went to the lake, she specially came over to take me back to my dorm. It was a very heartwarming experience."
