Booked the Danbulak Kandalam Heritage Hotel, but later said the hotel was full, let ’s change the hotel, changing the hotel we wanted before the trip was really uncomfortable at first, then Ctrip let us choose the hotel ourselves because of time I was nervous when I chose the water garden hotel, but I did n’t have much hope, but the staying experience was very good, the rooms are comfortable, the environment is quiet, you can overlook the Lion Rock. Located in a quiet place near Sigiriya ... Within 30 minutes on foot, you can go to Sigiriya and Pidu Langala. ... The owner Danu, his wife, and parents kindly welcomed me. The simple but delicious food was impressive ... The monkey and squirrel family are not bored on the tree right in front of the room .... However, it is a little unfortunate that there is nothing nearby, such as restaurants or shops ^^

The breakfast is delicious. There's a wide selection of fruit. It's within walking distance of Sigiriya Rock. It might be the closest hotel in the area. Perfect for a girls' trip! There aren't many rooms, so it seems like a small establishment. I stayed for three nights, and only saw two other guests. So, I got a good night's sleep. However, the walls were a bit thin, so noise echoed.

The location is near a busy road, and the noise from the karaoke bar at night keeps me awake all night. There are also frequent power outages and unstable Wi-Fi. However, the price is cheap, the room is spacious, there's a swimming pool, and breakfast is included (although the breakfast ingredients are really not fresh). It's tolerable for a short one-night stay.

Kalundewa Retreat has an amazing concept and a beautiful, secluded location that really stands out. The surroundings are peaceful and unique, making it a lovely place to disconnect. That said, there are visible signs of wear and tear in certain areas, and some aspects of property maintenance could be improved. However, what truly made up for this was the hotel team — their service was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The food was excellent and clearly prepared with care, which added greatly to the overall experience. With better upkeep, this place has the potential to be exceptional.

Convenient location, 15 minutes to the main attractions of Sigiriya. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean room, delicious breakfast with a view of the rock. The price is great, we recommend. Thank you!)

Everything about the stay here was perfect from start to finish. The hospitality of the staff at this resort is unmatched. They will go out of their way to make sure you have an enjoyable and comfortable stay

Although our stay was short, it was quite pleasant thanks to the friendliness of the staff, particularly Mr. Ruchira, who made us feel very welcome from the start. The accommodation was clean and comfortable, and the location was excellent. We were impressed with the care and attention to detail, making the experience very positive. We will definitely be back!

This hotel has good facilities, like good pool bar, restaurant with a tropical resort feeling. We have room with 2 king beds and it is good enough width for 2 adults and 2 kids. and also keeping sanitary. Staff gave the good hospitality and providing good services in restaurant. Just one concerning is VISA card cannot work well in Dambulla area.
