Response from Property: Dear Dominic h, On your arrival date, as your reservation was still confirmed, our Reception tried to contact you half an hour before the Front Desk’s closing time to be informed of your estimated arrival time at Menton. A voice message has been left to ask you to call us back and we could do a check-in directly by phone if you had to arrive after 8.00 pm. Around 8.00 pm, as we did not receive a reply to our voice message, we had to do the settlement of the first night, corresponding to our conditions written on the reservation. After the settlement, we called you again and you replied to this phone call. You informed us that you could not stay in our hotel and that you proceeded to the cancellation of all your bookings. However, we did not receive a cancellation request. Furthermore, when you asked by e-mail a few days after the phone call for an explanation about the settlement, we explained to you that the settlement has been done before the second phone call, and not after our conversation. Response from Property: We do take into considération your feedbacks regarding your stay in our hotel. However, we do pay attention about the cleanliness and we obviously suggest several rooms for clients who do not smoke, afterwards there is not fortunately for our clients any cigarette smell.
