I booked a three-night stay from October 17 to October 20, 2024, through Trip.com and paid a security deposit of $100 USD (AUD 153.11) at check-in. It has now been 24 days since my checkout, and I have not yet received the refunded deposit. I was informed that the refund process would take a maximum of five business days. I sent an email to follow up with the refund process, but I did not receive a response until now. Please proceed my refund as soon as possible!

When you arrive, they ask for your credit card and enter the numbers into their computer and charge $100 to your credit card. They indicate that it is a guarantee and that the money will be returned within a maximum of 7 days. However, it is a lie. 17 days have passed. I have sent emails and they have not responded to me. In the comments on Google Maps, people indicate the same thing: that the guarantee has not been returned to them. It is a scam, they are lying to you.

The staffs are not accommodating and they did not allow us to stay inside the hotel lobby while waiting for our check in. They collected some hotel check in deposit, promised to credit it back upon check out but it’s almost a month and they did not credit it back. Not recommendable for my friends and family.

The location is excellent if you are wanting a one night stay before a cruise but probably not the best if staying for some time in the Miami area. The outside is not very inspiring but the rooms were excellent and the breakfast very good by U.S. standards.

The location is very good and the attitude of the staff is good. The room is not very big but it has everything you should have. The hotel is probably renovated. The old wooden floors creak when you walk on them. The room is not soundproof and you can basically hear the conversation next door. Basic breakfast is provided.

Dodgy hotel AVOID! they will ask you for $100 up front to check in and promise to refund within 2 weeks. 3 months later still no refund, even after email requests. i have opened a dispute with my credit card company for fraud. To add, no lift, only stairs. No help to take suitcases upstairs. Worst hotel i have ever visited in the world so far, and i have travelled a lot.

Stolen my deposit, wont return it, wont reply to messages. Book this hotel and you will never see the $100 security deposit. I have started a chargeback with my credit card company. Totally untrustworthy management of this hotel. Honestly, they would have got a good review if they were not thieves.

Nothing wrong with the hotel, just filter in the cost of you're deposit in the overall cost as getting them to return it is nigh on impossible. Latest excuse is they're having a new credit card system so it's taking longer to process.. Month later still waiting for my $100.

BEWARE, Folks. I canceled a reservation at this hotel well within the permitted time and it took almost a month and a half-dozen phone calls to receive my refund for the first night's deposit. There is no excuse for that lack of service for a hotel doing business in a major city of the United States in 2025.
